The wife went with a slice of the Rainbow Cheese Cake ($7.50) which was smooth and not too sweet but not too cheesy either. It took a bit of a fight to get through the biscuit base. Very refreshing. I went with a boring old Chocolate Mousse ($7.50). Sweet enough and the richness of the chocolate was just on par. Just the right size for a dessert. I must admit I enjoyed every spoonful. The seating area isn't massive but it's enough to look after their customers. We'd happy return here again.

I had decided to do a high tea, after my daughters Baptism, and though I can make some sweet things petit fours, in particular mini tartlets, are definitely not one of them. I ordered 100 mini tartlets. We had mixed berry, salted caramel, chocolate ganache, and lemon meringue every single one was delicious. Last minute, I also asked Susanne if it was possible to make a cake. Though she advised me she didn't normally do cakes at such short notice the cake that she created was absolutely exquisite!!! It was a salted caramel naked cake and everyone thought it was superb. Moist yet light and very flavourful. I highly recommend The Art of Baking, I couldn't be happier with the service and the product that was provided. Thank you.

We had zucchini flowers and scallops as entree (primi), salmon and king prawn spaghetti as main, then raspberry soufflé and broken lemon tart for dessert.
