Nightmare return process. If you want to stand in a line for a half an hour while one person handles all the returns - including random Amazon packages - this is your place. Absolute waste of time. Rest of store is like a department store circa 1990 meets storage unit. Cluttered and chaotic. Avoid. read more

Worst retail store , prices overprice , with or without coupons . Clothes are made cheaply made . No more price scanners and items are b not all priced . The lines on a Saturday have only 2 cashiers open and the line is so long you would be standing there for 1/: hour or more . This store is probably struggling needs to close . read more

To me, Kohl's is like that one sweater that's been shoved in the back of the closet: sometimes I forget it's there, but then when I see it, everything changes. It's been a long time since I came here to shop, but recently on a holiday school closing, came here to return an Amazon package. Walking down the aisles made me feel like I was taking a trip down memory lane. I think the allure for me back when I came to Kohl's regularly, was that I could pick up Vera Wang's signature neutral eye makeup. Even though I didn't shop this time, I noticed floor reps getting busy sorting and tending to shelves. Merchandise is still plentiful, sections are clearly marked and racks are neat. Amazon (Returns) is no longer tucked wayyyyyy back in the corner. They're taking their kiosk seriously and now located in the middle of the store with very visible Amazon signage. The two employees were pleasant and fast. One of them taped up the opened the small rug in its box I brought in and given a return label. I was out of here in no time. read more

Kohl's - Fast. No Hassle. (Amazon Return Desk Located By The Women's Dept & Toys?) - Department Stores Near Me - YONKERS, New York

This has been my go to for Christmas gifts and now they have Amazon products like a fire stick and other amazing things! There sales have you buying way too many items and the Kohls cash drags you back in again. Love the location. They also opened more registers that keeps the line moving super fast. Organized store, stocked with great products and it's very clean. The Flx line has become my favorite brand. read more

Great location! Has private parking. It contains a Sephora inside and an Amazon drop off location. Everything i drop off my Amazon packages i receive some form of discount for my next order (within Days) and i just end up shopping for one or 2 items i need using my rewards number too to get my cash back. For those who don't know, for every $50 you spend you get back $10 in kohl's cash (also available for limited time). It's a great system honestly bc i always rack up in points even if i don't spend $50. They have clothes, shoes, appliances, bedding, toys and more. It's a better Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I never really have a problem here except i wish they had better shoes. The people are polite read more

This store is very clean and well organized. Seems to be well stocked too. Kohls is a great go to for me. I love the return policy. This store also offers Amazon returns. I did a Kohl's return today and the lady in customer service was very helpful. They have a great selection and the value of the price point cannot be beat. read more

I'm so thankful Kohl's partnered up with Amazon in order to become a convenient place to return your online purchases. It's way more convenient than having to repackage your items and schlep to a post office or ups store in order to return your items. The only downside is that you have to walk all the way to the back of the store, passing all of their merchandise, probably eyeing items that you'll end up buying. The upside? Upon returning your Amazon item, you received a discount towards a future Kohl's purchase. Convenient, no? Whomever came up with these satellite online/departments store relationships was a genius. Just the other day, I returned an Amazon item and received my discount coupon. On a later date I returned to bring back some gifts for my daughter that were too small and purchased some new items. Everything was 60% off, plus I had my discount from my previous visit. I've never really shopped in Kohl's because it always felt frantic, the way theines were overwhelming and the store felt cramped and cluttered. They've recently renovated a portion of the store, in the althetic wear section which has alleviated the hectic, overcrowded lines. It seems to be a lot more organized now. Pro Tip: So that you're not waiting on line for no reason, whether you're returning an online/Amazon item or an item from Kohl's, both areas are located in the back left section of the store, past the children's clothing area. It's better to shop first, for what you might want to exchange those items for, as you're able to complete both transactions at the same time. read more

6 cash registers are down and line is around the store. Save time and go to white plains location

Kohl's - Following my very first online shopping experience with this retailer, they've made it quite clear that I should NEVER attempt to make another purchase from them! In the event that an error is made (on my part or theirs) Kohl's will neither acknowledge nor correct it. I placed an order for Xmas, which my daughter generously decided to pay. Somehow the order was sent to my address, wrong apt with her name (doesn't exist in my building). Pkg was never received by me (apparently kept by wrong tenant). Upon reporting to Customer Service Instead of correcting name or address, rep and subsequent supv (so he said) were the most RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL reps I've ever spoken to. Instead of any attempt to rectify situation, I was continually threatened with cancellation of my order and being forced to "file a claim" for a credit! I am a regular online shopper who will NEVER shop at kohl's again! If I could rate them negative stars I would! read more

If I could say once nice thing about Kohl's - both in general and this location - is that they have clean tile floors. Yes, their tile floors are buffed to a shine and clean as hell. Their rugs, not so much. Their floors are the cosmetic best out of similar stores. And I mention their floors, because that's pretty much the highlight of this location. I'm generally not a fan of Kohl's brand. I rarely shop here if at all. It's like Macy's merged with TJ Maxx and produced their offspring Kohl's. The pricing of some things are ok, while others are not a great deal at all. You may or may not find what you're looking for as far as clothing options, but you could also find what you're looking for shopping elsewhere too. The toy section is atrocious. Do yourself, your kids, and your wallet/purse a favor and get that toy elsewhere. Some are garbage and others are overpriced. Some look like the return cart came over and placed things in a pile Jenga style on the shelf. I reluctantly came here today to return a Christmas gift for my son (a hoodie that doesn't fit). The returns/customer service line was a looooooooooooong wait. 2 were working at the registers and one of those two kept walking to the back trying to look as occupied as she could. Please. I worked retail and know the tricks. If you want a break, ask for one - don't milk the job when you have a long line of people patiently waiting. Or how about just doing your job. Hey, how about actually getting another employee at the empty third register and yet another to clear the return piles for you. That would be efficient. With a long, long line - a worker came with a customer and had the customer cut the line, which was not cool at all and a terrible move. Really inept management here. Finally got the return (gift card) and just couldn't wait to walk out of here. Parking lot is ok. They share the same complex with Petco, Sleepy's, Sprint store, and a furniture store. Most crowd the front of the lots because walking a few more feet would be terrible. You can find spots more easily on average days after the second tier. Really in all fairness, they do have SOME decent pricing on SOME items - but if saving a few pennies or going elsewhere are the choices, I'll gladly go elsewhere. read more

Kohl's - Cleanest floors. The best thing I can say about Kohl's. The rest is downhill. - Department Stores Near Me - YONKERS, New York

So disappointed with this location on central Ave, Yonkers. I came to do an Amazon return and when at the desk the young lady (which I didn't get her name but she has 1/2 of her hair orange, was the rudest I have come across within my many visits. She was rude, had No personality and got the Nerve to tell me she can't respond to my questions because she has been sneezing and coughing all day.. Are you kidding me!!! STAY HOME if your NOT FEELING WELL!!!!! Shame on the supervisor/Manger who allowed their employees to come in under those conditions and NOT only that but place her to deal with customers!! Thus Kohls have become the rudest place to shop at, the workers at customer service feel they don't have to be or at least try to be courteous and or professional when dealing with customers. Please train your employees to show some respect if NOT to the company they work for but for the PEOPLE that go in to shop and help them with employment. Shame on those in UPPER positions who don't take these complaints seriously. read more

Department store with very good sale prices. But boy the employees don't like working there at all. Most of them are mumbling side complaints. If you're someone who requires assistance from employees when shopping, I don't recommend this store. But if you just need to go get stuff at a good price, can't beat this place and it's selections read more

ordered something online to pick up in this store over a month ago. They sent me an email 2 minutes after I purchased, claiming I didnt pick up my item in time and it was cancelled. Not only has my order been cancelled for no apparent reason, I still to this day havent received my refund. I call the store nobody ever picks up. I call kohls.com and they claim they cant help and only store can. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! read more

I've been to this branch a few times to pick up some baby stuff, and I was generally pleased with the experience. They have a really extensive selection of clothes and accessories and everything is deeply discounted and great quality. However, it has to be noted that the checkout lines are truly an abomination. Easily a 20 minute wait, minimum. More cashiers are definitely needed! read more

I noticed this location had several negative reviews so I was hesitant to give the store a try, but I have to say my experience was not bad. I found the store to be reasonably clean and well-stocked, despite the fact that it was crazy crowded with Christmas shoppers. The check out line was really long but it moved along very efficiently and my check out process was smooth. The cashier was very pleasant and provided me with a store coupon even though I didn't have one with me. My only real problem was the unnecessary shelving in the middle of store aisles, which made navigating the shopping cart amid a sea of bargain-hunters very challenging, and there was nowhere for people to move when trying to walk by them. Definitely not the worst store I have shopped in, and I will most likely come back. read more

this store is the worst. if I could give them 0 starts, I would. I applied for a job there in July. I had a phone interview, I was supposed to get a second one and they NEVER called me. I went down there today and they told me to my face to REAPPLY. I will never shop there again. read more

This Kohl's at Yonkers must have a new manager or something. What a mess. Mostly clothes that are not hanging. Good luck trying to find exactly what you're lookin for. read more

I will come back to Kohl's for the selection, but NOT for the employees at the checkout. First of all, I came a few days before Christmas. They had some great deals and gift areas, which I really appreciated. I spotted a good amount of employees helping guests and they did a great job. When I approached the register, the TWO ladies did NOT greet me. They grabbed my items and scanned them, not even folding them. They were talking to another employee, who should have been working to keep the line moving, about coats. The one who was the rudest had unnatural red curly hair up into an up-do with a scarf keeping it up. The lady next to her had long black hair. I had to ask where to swipe my card, and she pointed to the machine. She then gave me coupons, circled a survey about my experience, gave it to me, and said NOTHING. I was pissed. I work in customer service, and I know that if I did this I would be fired on the spot. I hope a manager sees this and is reading this. I know I was not the only one who experienced it on this day. I really hope they get their act together. Come for the clothes and PRAY you don't get red headed girl. read more

Love this place. Great prices, always seems to be organized, only thing I would change is some of the workers additude. Its sad that it is a small store, but I always still seem to find something I like. The prices are a bit pricey, but they seem to always have good sale and you seem to always get back some kohls cash. Im happy with the store. Not so much the workers. Overall I still come to shop in it and I will recommend others to come as well. read more

Well, first off I like Kohl's but, prefer to order online. This review is for this Yonkers branch, the one with 5 employees and 2 managers. Broken down: there are two cashiers with long lines; one grumpy employee occasionally near women's clothes dressing room; one standard non verbal, flat affect employee manning customer service with a very slow long line at all times; one employee that fills in for a cashier or customer service person if they go on break and one employee behind jewelry. No one anywhere on the floors for assistance, EVER. If one one wants assistance you must go to front near the cashiers where a manager stands. No housekeeping ever seen. ( maybe they work at night in there defense). So there have it, why I order online. If I missed any employees they are clearly MIA. read more

When you can actually find a deal on stuff it seems like a great store. I can't take the headache I get as soon as I walk in because it's so chaotic. Still, every once in a while I do find something on sale that I needed or the little one needed, but I have to not be looking for anything in particular to find something to buy. If I actually look for what I need, it seems to not exist. Usually the cashiers are complaining about having to work there. Hey I'm with them on that one, I don't want them working there either if that's what they call what they're doing. But every once in a while there's someone nice and something nice. Not worth it, but nice. read more

The employees are useless. I asked multiple employees about where a product was and they all spoke to me with attitudes and completely ruined my experience there. I ended up walking out empty handed. read more

Usually go to the Port Chester location which has friendly and efficient service. Tried online purchase for first time and had to use this location as my preferred item was in stock here. I thought it would be convenient to pick up (old navy has an online pick up at the check out!!). Keep in mind I'm pregnant and to my surprise had to walk to hidden customer service way in back to get item. So please Kohl's change the way you handle online ordering. It's much easier just to order it for delivery (and maybe that's the idea-make it really inconvenient and no one will want to do it again)?!? read more

I was recently in Kohl's, Yonkers, NY. What happened to them? The women's plus size clothing section has been reduced to a fraction of their previous selection. I have always been able to buy a great outfit from them. They are losing an important market. I won't be back!!!!!! read more

always hate this place because of the customer service and how messy and unorganized.

Rude staff who are difficult to deal with. Long waits at the checkout. Cashier refused to accept valid coupons. Walked out in disgust. No wonder this chain is reducing the size of their stores. First step to closing down. Store in Mohean Lake is 1,000 times better to deal with. read more

I think this is by far my favorite Kohl's location, it never really gets crowded in here, a huge plus for me I hate crowds. Everything is always nice and organized, not messy at all. First off, their employees are the worst ever! Very rude cashiers and managers. The night managers are extremely rude and just stand about gossiping with the cashiers and weren't even able to answer simple questions such as pricing on certain items. I asked a simple question and was given a very rude answer by one of the night managers who then walked off in a huff as if I was bothering her. The store itself could use a good cleaning as well, dirty smelly changing rooms with bits of garbage strewn about. Also, does anyone ever check the clothes racks out?? Twice I found dirty underwear on a hanger and also a used bra left in a package that was suppose to be new!! I am totally disgusted with this place and will shop elsewhere. read more

Don't ever order online here! I ordered online for an in store pickup because shipping to the store is free. When I got there , there was one person in front of me who had a big order, a woman was called to help us & she helped him, & they messed up his order! He apologizes to me saying he didn't know it was a lot of items that his mother had ordered. Once his order was done, the employee puts on her jacket & leaves, without telling anyone to help me. I then ask another employee if I can be helped and she calls someone else to help me. Another woman comes with the BIGGEST attitude starts waving her hand at me so I can give her my order number. I show her my phone so she can scan the barcode & she says no your going to have to read the numbers. PISSED AT THIS POINT I read the numbers. She says "your going too fast!"
