WHO THE HELL IS THE DISTRICT MANAGER OF THIS LOCATION ????…read more I am so shocked that I even have a complaint about this particular location because most of the time they don't get under my skin and this is one of my favorite Five Below locations in the Bronx but these past few days with THIS location has been a different story . First let's start off with the fact that NO ONE , not even the " Security Guard " can find the store manager ..... Ok . Now on top of that I learned her name because I over heard the immature employees talking about her and according to them her name is Takeisha but she goes by Keisha . So that was the first problem , they couldn't find her because apparently one of the employees needed her to unlock her register numbers because the other employee that was servicing me on that particular register tried to log her in and ended up locking her out of her account . So I had to wait 20 minutes just for them to finally call Takeisha. Keep in mind I was already standing in line for 20 minutes because they refuse to open up self check out and help ring out customers on there . Like no matter what I never see those being used !!!! Then as I'm walking out the " Security Guard " asked me for my receipt when he saw all that was happening to me to get my REFUND . So I looked at him and said really for a refund ? The refund you just watched me wait to get because he also didn't know where Takeisha was either !!! I think I'm coming to the conclusion that maybe I shouldn't shop at Five Below anymore . This franchise that I've loved for 10 years is maybe coming to an end with all the poor customer service from almost all of there locations and the sudden change to leaving my bags in the front of the store at certain locations of there's , and that saddens me but it is what it is !!!!

Walked in recently to a disarray of hodgepodge, eclectic I don't know what they're selling, with not a lick of decorations in sight. I had tunnel vision so nothing looked appealing to me. I had one goal and envisioned walking in, perusing their colorful, organized display of items. Pick what I want, pay and leave. I tried seeking assistance and saw not a soul donning their signature fiVe BEL°W T-Shirts. I resorted to asking the Security Guard who was so pleasant, greeting everyone that walked into the store. So usually if I'm going to get Nike stuff, I'll go to the factory store in the Woodbury commons which is most convenient to me. Or I was planning on going to the factory store in Newark but who wants to make that drive and deal with that traffic and tolls. And I'll never pay full retail at a Manhattan store. I did actually go to the Newark factory store and honestly this store here in co op city has similar prices. Idk if this is supposed to be a clearance store or factory store (neither terminology is used here), but it seems to be like a clearance store. There's some decent discounts on clothing and shoes/sneakers that are similar to prices I saw at the Newark store and other "factory" stores, so it's probably similar items and prices. It's hit or miss though. Stuff that is in the store all the time is discounted lightly, but still a bit pricey in my opinion and there's a clearance rack where there's an extra like 20% off where you may get lucky. There are random times where there are good extra sales, and recommended to use the app or sign up, which I did and was able to get a sale on top of a sale for a training shirt, which I was able to pick up in this store instead of paying for shipping. Not a huge selection but large enough that they have sneakers, running shoes, clearance/refurbished shoes, running shirts, shorts, yoga shirts/shorts, and pants. Usually these full time items are not heavily discounted but you'll get a little break from the sticker price. The staff in my experiences seem helpful. Shoutout to Michael who made some recommendations, and was super helpful in helping me pick up my item seamlessly. I'll definitely be coming back to keep an eye on the sales

Tony is a great salesman that really knows how to connect with customers and give honest opinions about quality and longevity of furniture. He also helps you navigate the Showroom according to your budget and style. I had fun speaking with him and him allowing us to have space to roam around to check sets out ourselves without trying to sell us every piece of furniture. Bob's furniture shows you the total set price and individual pieces' price which was a much better set up than neighboring furniture stores that try to convince you to buy sets than pieces for "greater savings." The furniture store while overwhelming with the amount of furniture inside had a certain organization to it that allowed you to feel the difference between quality sets and more pricey sets. It's great they offer customers hot coffee, powder creamer, several different candy, cookies, and ice cream. The bathrooms were clean inside the building as well.
