The Front End is Rude and miserable. They had zero customer skills when I last visited and I spent almost 300 dollars. This store use to be nice, when it first opened up years ago...now, it's turned into a real "ghetto mania" sort to speak kind of place. The sales people are horrible and can't be bothered helping you find what you need. They just stand around the counters and pretend to be working, often chatting with others. Most don't speak English, and when you find one who does, they are pure nasty and brush you off real quick so they can go back to chatting with their friends or texting on their phones. The place has gotten sloppy looking, clothes thrown all over and wrong sizes on the wrong hangers! The bathroom is filthy. The clothes have become cheaply made and no matter how gently you wash them, they either fade or rip after a few washings. The shopping carts they have are so dirty that I stopped using them altogether, left over soda bottles, candy wrappers, sticky stuff all over the handle bars, absolutely disgusting! Their sales are a joke. They rack up the prices so high and then have them on sale so you actually think you're getting a bargain. It's all a sales pitch to get you to think you're saving a bundle. I've seen better clothes at KMart these days. The worst customer service ever and cashiers are nasty act like they can't wait to get out of there. . I've never seen any of these ever as so much crack a smile, ever! The dressing rooms smell of urine and I've actually seen dirty diapers left in one and when I mentioned this to the saleslady she cursed under her breath and walked off in a hurry. I then went to find a manager and all she said was "that's not my job!" Well, then, who's job is it?? They're the laziest bunch I've ever seen working in a large department store as this. Someone else mentioned crowds, funny thing is that I've gone both during the daytime & nighttime and there's never hardly a soul in there. The only time it seems to get crowded is around the holidays when people are doing their last minute stuff, and even then it's not that crowded. They've gone downhill big time. Do yourself a favor, shop at Macy's or even Sears who happen to have better quality clothes (and friendlier sales people) than kohls certainly does. read more

What happened to this kohl's? When it first opened up it was so nice, very clean with helpful friendly salespeople there to help you find what you need, However, the last 5 or 6 times I've been there in which the most recent time was last week the place has gone down in a hurry! Sales people all complaining to each other constantly about the work they have to do and how sloppy the customers always are, Hello, some of us do actually fold the clothes back that we take out to look at, Then there's the cashier folks, do these people every smile in their lives?? Seriously, I've seen more sale cashier people smiling in Getty Square stores than in Kohl's. They're the most snobbiest group I've ever encounter in sales. My cashier woman was too busy on her phone while ringing up my items to bother to answer a question that I needed to ask her, So I turn to the cashier next to her for some hope and lo and behold the other one is texting and talking to some heavy set older blonde woman with short hair with tons of heavy make up on and overheard her say to the cashier girl about so and so who works in women's apparel can use tips on how to wear make up and dress properly!! I was aghast to say the least! Meanwhile their line was slow and customers were getting annoyed and tired of it all. Im assuming the older heavier blonde woman was some kind of manager since she had nothing to do but stand around and direct people to different lines, that is when she wasn't gossiping about other employees. What a joke!! Its little wonder the cashiers are unsmiling and disgusted. I mumbled under my breath to myself "get off your fat a(#@# lady and do something to help out the long lines here, didn't think anyone heard me but then I turned around the lady behind me was just shaking her head in agreement with me. Then there's the sales clerks who are "suppose" to be working on the floor and help you if you need any assistance. Well, i happened to see an older looking thin hispanic woman with short blonde hair working near the dressing room. I asked her about an item that i was looking for in a different size and she rudely answered me that she was too busy to just go "wandering around the store to find one certain item" REALLY??? When I first got there all she was doing was chatting to the other floor clerks about how sloppy "these awful customers are who come in here every day" and so on. I should have gotten her name!!! When I finally did find something I could use to wear to work and then proceeded to go in and try it on I was shocked at how dirty the dressing rooms had become, I thought they were all renovated some time back?? What happened? There were dirty socks laying on one floor and in another room I actually found a used dirty diaper sitting on the stool in the dressing room where we're suppose to put our own clothes on while trying things on, Well that did it of me. I left my outfit there and stormed out of there almost sick to my stomach, And, then suddenly the same rude clerk comes running over to me to ask me if I had found what I was looking for. REALLY? I had to control myself from knocking her out and Im NOT a violent person by any means but this woman just got to me, Was she being sarcastic or just plain stupid I'll never know and don't care because that will be my LAST time I'll ever shop at this Kohl's in Yonkers!!! read more

i like kohls, let me start by saying that. the place is big and endless racks of clothing. also houseware and stuff for the bathroom, shoes and sneaker, and electronics stuff. the most important thing is come when stuff is on sale, which it seems is all the time. the workers here are ok if i need help they give an effort, but i like doing the browse and picking on my own. i must say the place is very bright and clean, and well stocked, no clothes or items all over the floor and misplaced.got a pair of sneakers 40 bucks down from 70 bucks good deal, and a starter jacket 25 bucks down from 44 bucks. nice stuff at kohls ,just be patient,cause place is big, check out is quick, it was not crowded, a good amount of cashiers who are polite. customer service is very good,when i ask about opening up a kohls card, they explained the whole process with no pressure to sign up,and also gave me a flyer with cash back on future purchases,very happy with my trip to kohls, i will be back with the holidays around the corner, nice department store folks. P.S GOT A LUGGAGE SET FROM AMERICAN TOURIST FOR 50 BUCKS DOWN FROM 90 BUCKS NICE DEAL. read more
