Shocked to see this Kohl's/Kohl's in general still around. One of my grandmas favorite stores but I know she'd be shocked at the prices current day if she was still here. I seen graphic tees for $25. The same quality as the $9 walmart ones. From time to time I do like to browse to see what brands they offer as you can find some decent labels. They used to have good coupons too. The store layout is easy to navigate as it's like most other department stores. Not sure if it's still the case but last time I went, I tried to park in the back lot to enter the store and looked like they closed it off. The front lot can get a bit chaotic. read more

I just visited this particular store for the final time! I have shopped there for 6 years. When I entered the store, a store associate told me the store closed in 15 minutes. The store hours were clearly posted on the entrance, so I already was aware. Plus, I checked online ahead of time to see if I would have enough time to shop. I thought this was rude and made me wonder later why I entered the store at all. Another associate told me what time the store closed as I entered the area where I wanted to shop. Also, another shopper mentioned to me how the associates had said similar things to her. Maybe the store owner could close this store earlier if they want people to leave sooner. Or the owners could close the store entirely so that associate's would not have to deal with any shoppers. I think this is terrible customer service! I recommend that consumers don't shop here. I stayed at a hotel in Mississauga before flying out the following day to Minneapolis. There is always something that I forget to pack on every trip, no matter how organized I am. I forgot my pyjamas. It was a first. Luckily, I had my workout clothes with me, so I wore those as pyjamas my first night away from home. Naturally, it's not the best psychologically to sleep and work out in the same clothes. I made it a mission to get some sleepwear once I was in the Twin Cities. My Saturday was packed. I did have some time between lunch and a couple of hockey events. I was in St. Louis Park, did a search, and found this Kohl's. This store has plenty of parking. I parked and walked in. Peanuts plushies greeted me. Naturally, I am in the hometown of Charles Schulz, so it made sense. Five dollars for one of them is pretty good and goes to a good cause. I truly wanted to get all four until I snapped out of this cuteness trance to get sleepwear. Kohl's has a lot of good deals. If you want quality at cheap prices, come here. I got two sets of pyjamas for just under $25. Well, one was an actual set. I got two separates that became a set. I quickly breezed through the kitchen appliances and accessories. It is great to see pressure cooker accessories making their mark and gaining popularity. When I first got my pressure cooker, there weren't many accessories that you could get separately anywhere. The young man at the checkout was enthusiastic and polite. I had him scan my rewards bar code off my Kohl's app. I paid with a credit card and I was done. I needed a location to return my Amazon purchase during pandemic. This location was still open and operating and accepting returns, etc. You are required to wear a mask. Staff are also wearing them. Upon entry, the young lady working the door wasn't very friendly. I didn't know where to go to complete my Amazon return transaction. i walked in and stood there waiting for her to finish talking to her co-workers, in her complete view. Finally I said excuse me, she was not aanny friendlier, basically treated me like I ruined her conversation, while she had been very kind to those leaving the store... but whatever. She answered my question dryly and i went on to complete what i came to do. The gentleman who assisted me completely made up for her tacklessness & lack of customer service. He was friendly and patient and make my first time doing this type of return very painless. On my way out, the same young lady was just still dry.. she said nothing as I exited, after saying have a good day to those ahead of me. I chose to tell her to have a good day ANYWAY. Would I shop & spend MY money at this location.. NOPE. Just because of her poor service, which has been tolerated. read more

"Where fashion goes to die". The Amazon returns person had no clue what they were doing and almost lost me $50.00 in retuned Amazon merchandise. When I spoke to the manager on duty, she became defensive and came up with every excuse under the sun not to validate my concerns. I shouldn't have been surprised judging from her out of date frosted mom mullet spiky hairdo and her "belongs in a dumpster, not on your body" fashion choices. She must have sensed that I was about to have a viral TikTok going to get canceled Karen moment because she suddenly changed her tone and apologized so I will give her that. I do recommend this place for people who hate shopping since the store is filled with lots of generic looking items that resemble clothes. read more

Kohl's has been sending me $10 off any purchase coupons and I'm already inside Knollwood Mall, so I've been in this Kohl's a half dozen times this fall. The people who work here are perfectly nice. I've had a few nice cashiers. I've never been a fan of Kohl's bc I just can't get into all the sales and WTF is Kohl's Cash? I have a lot of friends and relatives who love this place though, so I've been somewhat neutral up until this week and now I'm finally ready to say it. I don't like Kohl's and they sell a lot of substandard items. I've heard they are very liberal with returns, but sometimes I just don't have the time especially when I basically got something for free. Men's socks = 3/4 of the pairs ripped within 2-3 wearings. They look like socks, wear like pantyhose. Picture frames = upon closer inspection, lots of hairline cracks. Broken glass when opened. Obviously dropped in store and not very sturdy. Kids shoes = don't even get me started. Quality of Target at 2-3x the price. Sunglasses = found some good deals, but better use the price check machines bc sale signs unclear. So many things are over priced, even at sale prices. I just don't get Kohl's, and I don't like it either. read more

Wouldn't it be great if Kohl's in general would stop wasting time and money on sale paraphernalia and simply charge what the merchandise is actually worth? Rather than inflate the price and put everything constantly "on sale"to somehow fool their customers into believing they are saving money? Sorry Kohl's I'm over it. This is a very philanthropic company and they do a lot for communities and create a lot of jobs, but their sale practice needs some reform. I'm halfway between the Kohl's in Bloomington and this location in St Louis Park. I chose this location mostly because I like the store layout. I do a lot of on-line shopping with Kohl's and if I need to make a return, the Customer Service desk here is located just inside the back door. Unlike Bloomington where you have to go to the middle of the store, take the escalator and then walk to the other side of the store from where the escalator drops you off. Ridiculous. Everyone in this store has always been friendly and helpful. The store itself is always neater and more organized, in comparison to other Kohl's. By far, the best Kohl's in the Cities and I've been to many of them. Well done SLP. read more

Every time I go to the Knollwood Kohl's, I have been able to find someone to help me. The staff is always courteous and helpful, from the returns desk to the floor people to the checkout. Today on Christmas Eve day the manager was walking the entire store. He greeted the cashiers by name. This show was not for my benefit! He was saying good morning to them. It is hard to shop without being invisible ( I am of a certain age). And it is not often where you see employees treated well. This matters to me. Kohl's is my favorite store now! read more

Bad customer service. Cashiers are often not well-trained or rude - one yelled at me in front of several other customers just because I mentioned, in a normal voice, to the customer behind me that the store needed more help. I contacted two men - one a store manager who totally agreed with me that the cashier was way out of line and the other, who was some sort of "higher-up," but was only offered a 15% credit on my charge receipt from that day because the clerk who actually checked me out had forgotten to apply that credit. I would have had to drive back to the store to receive that credit. I replied to that email but never heard back. Imagine a Nordstroms or Macy's responding like this? read more

Bait & switch pricing on end caps. Rude supervisor who when I asked at checkout about the price discrepancy she snapped back at me with "oh we'd never sell these for that price." I've been in retail for 20 years and I've always taken care of the customer to the best of my ability. When businesses are struggling in the current climate we find ourselves in every persons business matters and they've now lost mine and as many folks that I can tell about this awful customer service experience. I should add that the Lino Lakes Kohls has never given me any issues so I still recommend them but I'll no longer give any business to the Knollwood Kohls. read more

i dont really get the appeal of kohls other than it attracts more customers seemingly than the rest of knollwood while still technically being insde the mall, otherwise the quality dsw would win that prize. its not that cheap. their strategy is to make everything on 30% off but the sale price is still pretty pricey and you would be better off hitting up target. to make it worse, they have one person helping per 1000 yards of store space, so i can say that i really toured the place and got a feel for it all trying to find someone to show me wear the sports bras were and logically they were hidden in the pack with no sign and low on the rack. great. the only good thing about it is the one or two surrogate grandma types who check you out and inquire/interrogate about your life before you leave. read more

Kohls is a great place to shop, the quality isn't top notch but you get what you pay for right? They send coupons often and have sales often so combined you can get most anything at a good price. I just got 2 anti-gravity chairs which so far so good, they were on sale and I had a 30% off coupon, so hey thought I would give them a try, great for relaxing on the deck. My daughter buys lots of her clothes there and she loves to get a deal so works out great. read more

This Kohl's is the worst. Their customer service is terrible. I made a purchase and used my debit card. The computer froze and a manager told me because a receipt didn't print the transaction didn't go through. So they rang me up again. Sure enough I saw I was charged twice. First they told me to go through my bank to dispute the transaction. Since I used my debit card and had entered my pin the bank could not dispute the extra charge since technically I had approved it. I went in to the store 10 days after the transaction to ask them to refund the extra charge. They tried to tell me that the charge was still pending, they treated me like I was dumb and did not know what a pending charge would look like on my bank statement. They said they had no record of 2 transactions even though I was clearly on camera being rang up twice. They told me I had to call the corporate office to get a refund. When I called the corporate office they directed me back to the store to speak to the store manager. On my third try with the store I spoke to the store manager. Again I was treated like I didn't know what a pending transaction looked like on my bank statement. By this time it had been over 2 weeks, clearly the transaction was not pending. He told me to call my bank again to confirm that the extra charge wasn't pending. His attitude was very demeaning. He asked how much the charge was and I said $32...he laughed and said he wasn't concerned about $32. He made me feel like I was making a big deal over nothing. I did as he asked and confirmed with my bank once again that the transaction was not pending. Finally after showing them my bank statement and reassuring them that I had talked to my bank twice they refunded my money. Unfortunately they did the return on the receipt I had, from the second time being rung up, so the items I gave as gifts can no longer be returned using the gift receipts. The Kohl's in my hometown bends over backwards for their customers. I would have never had to go to such lengths for a $32 refund. I have never had an issue with Kohl's until I went to this location. Had they offered me store credit to begin with I would have been happy. Instead, they made me go through so many hoops just to get my money back. I will definitely never go back to this location, and I am currently debating never going to Kohl's again. They may have just lost a good customer over $32. read more

I used to love coming into this Kohl's location. Not entirely sure what happened, but this store is CRAP. Their selections in the Junior section for jeans/jeggings is horrible. They never have sizes I need and for the amount of time I usually have a pair of jeans or jeggings, which is never very long because they end up ripping. The only good sale they have with those is when the SO brand is on sale for $20.00 otherwise I pay more and it's not worth my money. I needed to pick up khaki's for my husband for his job, again the sale is crap. Buy one get 1/2off is not entirely a sale if you have to pay ORIGINALLY $55.00++ for just one pair of pants that will end up ripping for what he does for work. The only thing worth going to this location is for baby clothes and that's about it. It's really disappointing and no one in that store must not know what customer service means, the only person who ever says hi to you is usually the lady who works in Jewelry otherwise don't count on finding anyone to help you or say hi to you. Not sure what happened to that. With Knollwood, they could have spruced up the Kohl's too. read more
