I came in here this morning to shop for a few things, & when I went to checkout at the self-checkout by the door where I came in at, & that one was closed. I mean a Target is a Target. The Knollwood location is not far from my home, so I'm a frequent flyer. While this location is clean and for the most part has everything I need. I've found this location is often out of stock of products more often than other locations. The self checkout line is always long, but if all the registers are open it goes quick. Drive up and order pick up times are on the slow side, even when there at non-peak times. I do like that they moved Drive up to the back. It frees up parking; which is often pretty full. Be prepared there are panhandlers who camp out in the parking lot and today I was approached by a scammer in the store asking for me to buy their groceries for them. They had probably $300-400 worth of stuff in their cart. I wasn't the only person they asked for money either. read more

Ample parking, great selection and prices, plus super friendly and helpful staff. What more could you want? I have been impressed by their reliably great selection of dairy products (see bag of greatness below), and this is one of my favorite places for flowers, especially when it is tulip season. Everyone has been to a target before so you know what to expect. The location is very clean and has a good amount of items stocked. The only negative is trying to find a staff member to help you if you have a question about an item. I usually have to use one of the phones you find to call for an attendant to assist. Also the cashiers are hit or miss when it comes to friendliness. Sometimes they are very friendly and engaging and other times you feel that you are bothering them when you are checking out in their lane. The self checkout lines can get a bit long and they have a new rule about if you have more than I believe 5 items then you need to checkout in a lane rather than self checkout. overall the store is pretty good read more

I hate to say this, but this particular Target has slowly devolved over time, egged on by the Pandemic, and just never recovered. I sometimes walk in thinking it's a Walmart, and am surprised when I see the Target logo (I'm being silly). More frequently I have been seeing messes, things not organized making it harder to find what I'm looking for, shopping carts having past customers' wrappers, etc. in them, etc. The supply chain is still a concern four years post COVID and I usually find that I will have to go to an additional store to get all of the basic ingredients off of my grocery list. For example, you'll see there is a large open air refrigeration system for chicken, but it's 3/4 empty and does not have the cut you're looking for. I used to be able to get everything I needed in one go at Target, but that's a thing of the past. The new drive up section could be marked better. I cannot trust the feature where you order online and staff collect it for you because they are often out of so many things. Of course, the prices are great at Target and you can get good deals on the Target circle app. There are definitely some staff that seem to care about what they're doing, but the pendulum is swinging in the other direction and it shows in the lack of effort to keep the store clean and organized. I find that I have been going to a different Target lately, even though this one is more convenient. read more

I was at Target to get some chocolate chips for making cookies ... mini Hershey chips had a sale tag $2.39 great ... I picked up two (2) when I finally got a register that was available he rings them and the total he gave me was over $6.00! This was an item that they had put a sale tag on and I read the tag to insure that I picked up the correct ones and they tried to rob me! It is just like the criminals who shoplift. They are taking money out of OUR pockets as well, because we pay more for EVERYTHING! Target started a new membership thing and I hope that they do well with it but if they can't even get pricing correct there is no way I will be shopping at Target in the future! read more

Would you even rate Target a star less? This is one of the best Super Target stores in the suburban and they have a huge volume of goods on the floor considering the proportional store size. We have been coming to this store for the last 5 years and this is one of the best to-go places even if you don't want to buy anything and just do some Window Shopping. If you are a Brick and Mortar shopper(unlike the lazy ones sitting before the internet and ordering home deliveries), there are few things that you will need to consider- Store parking, easy sign boards, items placement on aisles, items availability, item price, wide varieties offered for the same item, helpful store personnels and finally a hassle free checkout. This Target store ticks all of these boxes(ok, not cheap prices may be ;)) To start off with, this store has a humongous parking space that caters well to a lot of cars even during the Holiday season. You pick a cart and can walk around this store effortlessly while hunting for your shopping needs. Since this is a Super Target, they offer groceries too. For bonus, they have a Deli, CVS, eye clinic, Starbucks and a separate liquor store attached too. They have a fleet of Self Checkout registers on either side of the entrances too and this helps tremendously for faster checkouts. The item return section is also super friendly to help with returns and refunds. The store pickup is also a great feature if you want to make online orders and drop by the store to pick them. This is my home target. They have everything you could ever need except a shopping experience that supports the small business local economy. Would have been better if they did not add a liquor store in Target. The trend seems to be going towards less checkout staff and more automation. This does not seem to speed up the process as there are lots of technical problems. I think more customer service and checkout help along with bagging would be appreciated by everyone. read more

I can usually get most items on my grocery list here, sometimes I get a little frustrated in the vegetable department because they don't have every last wild thing I might want to eat based on whatever wild diet I'm on at the moment. I actually know some of their veggie people by face because I'm always asking them if they have a certain thing or if they can go in the back room because their tiny little display areas are out of a certain vegetable. I can also get frustrated because I've spent $300-they always have super funky things I must have. And they always have combo of things I might need, like cotton underwear and Christmas lights and a baby gift and all my food. I used to work here in my teens, before they became more of a Super Target. The community could always use another good grocery store. This Target has some great food stores. Even though it is a good size building, some of the hard lines just do not have enough of the product that I want to buy. At least the restrooms are accessible. this is one of the worst targets I've ever been to. the costumer service girl that was working today 2/2/24, was so clueless and rude that i legitimately thought she was on drugs. the manager or acting MOD with the neck tattoo is racist and used derogatory language in front of children. she was on a power trip and clearly didn't know she was being recorded. I've been to this target a few times, and it always gets the job done. They have a robust grocery section. It's a quite large store. They were out of a few items in grocery. We specifically weren't able to find fairlife fat free milk, so that was a bummer. They do have fun seasonal items to try though. They also have plenty of toiletries to choose from. read more

I worked at this store for a year and a half and have shopped there for just as long after my employment. This store is generally considered "the standard" for Super Target operations and appearance. It's close to corporate headquarters so it is closely scruntized. If it doesn't happen here, you probably won't find it elsewhere either. Most of the staff works to the best of their abilities. If it looks like something isn't being done to your liking, it probably isn't the fault of the individual who is helping you on the salesfloor. Instead, a culture is usually determined by the leadership at the top. When considering customer feedback, management always looks for 9s or 10s on the survey. They want guests to "be amazed" by their shopping experience, but we all know that's probably an unreasonable standard. Too many people expect champagne service on a Bud Light budget. The store does it's best to keep the shelves full and keep the guests coming back. I can't say I've ever had a bad experience shopping here, but understand that you're shopping at a discount retailer. Get in, get your stuff, and don't make the experience more difficult for others. read more

Two nights in a row I ordered pick up from the target store in St. Louis Park Minnesota the first night I waited more than a half an hour and no one ever came out with my groceries and I was the only person waiting for groceries reset it up to pick up the following night same thing happened. This is my favorite Target store! There is one employee in particular that is always very helpful. I'm not sure of his name but he's usually in the customer service area. The remodel is really nice even though it's taking me a bit to get used to. I'm not a big fan of the order ahead area yet though. That section seems understaffed and I've overheard employees complaining about customers. I'm giving them a pass for now since I think that department is still new. read more

Target has done a pretty good job of not being the Big Box store you love to hate. Yeah, they are a big corporation and have helped kill off some local business, but they do a great job of keeping the profit in the community in which they exist. I like that. They have a great selection of lower and higher end products of every type. And, sale items are usually in stock. Their customer service isn't horrible either. The best thing about Target has to be their TV ads though. They always look cool and have such a unique vibe. They've recently integrated some superb shopping carts that are high tech and quiet. First of all, I am a huge fan of Target & buy most of my groceries here. The last few times I have been grocery shopping there is absolutely nothing stocked on the shelves. The canned goods shelves were bare. Most of the bagged salads were empty. The dairy department there were 2 dozen eggs and yogurt selection was close to empty. I have talked to several friends and co-workers and they are saying the same thing! What is going on with Target? I'm going to start doing my grocery shopping at the local Jerry's at least I know they will have their shelves stocked. read more

I have to admit that Target is one of my favorite stores. This Target is a pain, though. My theory is that when Target was restructuring they made huge staffing cuts to stores and took a long, hard look at inventory and then just never re-examined that. This store is always crowded. The parking lot is insane. It's worse than Costco. Finding a spot during a busy time is like a contact sport. Also, backing up is a challenge. You only do is with a wish and a prayer that someone won't jump out in your way. Inside the store it seems like they are always out of key items and the stocking is much different than the Plymouth store which used to be "my" store. For example, we like one brand of gluten free waffles and it seems like they only order them once a quarter and if they run out, they run out for months. Recently, the yogurts have looked picked over like a hurricane is on the way. The registers are routinely half staffed and it takes forever to check out. And if you have a question in the store, it can be nearly impossible to locate an employee. Additionally, if you have your prescriptions at this CVS, there is awkwardly nowhere to stand in line. People cram their carts into one tiny aisle and wait for Target/CVS employees to remember the line order. If I could only go during off peak times I would. read more

Amazingly, like most Target shoppers have come to realize, you go in planning on a couple purchases and you leave with a cart full of sh*t. It's like going to the Casino with a Debit card full o' money. Dear Target, I am sooooo mad at you. 1. You don't sell CORN TORTILLAS. This is not an exotic item. You weren't just out of them and the stock person said people ask for them all the time but you just don't have them. It's the weirdest miss on your buyer's part. 2. I bought a foam mattress cover for my guest bed (since I'm cheap I bought a hard bed expecting to be able to cover it up) and it stated queen - I thought score - mom and dad will never know the bed sucks. OH until I get it home and on the bed 5 minutes before their arrival and it is clearly not a queen. It's somewhere between a twin and full. 3. Your produce is crying for help - thank god it's farmer's market season. I will no longer shop at this Target. Empty shelves and I can't find what I'm looking for. It seems there marketing ploy is to move items to different sections of the store, so you have to search for that particular item hoping that you don't find it and make other purchases. Oh Target, lovely Target. If you are from Minnesota... A. You know the 50 dollar rule...you just can't seem to leave a Target for less than $50 (even if you go in just for toothpaste)...and you likely have commented about it while checking out. My personal record is $75 in one plastic bag (not stuffed full either), $100 if you count the prescription I also picked up the same day. B. You probably also know someone that works at Target (Corporate or a store). I think I know 7...yes, 7 people...now, if only I could get a job there too, hello corporate discount! I find this Target particularly exceptional. Fabulous location, large parking lot, friendly employees, clean store, big selection. It is typically a busy location, but that doesn't really matter due to the fact that the lot is large (lets not be lazy people, its OK to have to walk a few extra spaces from time to time). Their grocery selection is superb (they always have Honeycrisp apples before everyone else and cheaper) and I do most all of my grocery shopping here. Very rarely do I come across a item I need that I cannot find here. I must note that I am not the most creative chef, so the basics are all I need. My shopaholic self loves to be able to pick up a cute shirt or pair of Converse while I am poking around too. My only complaint is the lack of selection of the For Target designers; I rarely get to even see a piece here, let alone purchase one. Oh and look, fun new nail polish, a bottle (or two) won't hurt. RE (Room Essentials) brand for Target is always a plus too. Who couldn't use some awesome and inexpensive organizational stuff...or a book...or shelving...or new sheets...or batteries...or a light bright...or a bike...or...a sofa...ummm...I am so making a list next time, I better go now. Oooh, picture frames are on sale! I am sure you already know about this, but don't forget to sign up for their RED card and save 5% on every purchase - on top of their already awesome prices! They also have Pharmacy rewards after 5 prescriptions filled. Bring your own bags for an extra 10 cent discount, per bag. This is the closest Target for me and typically I avoid big box stores except for essentials. I like it that this is conveniently located for me and carries Method cleaning products, as well as Kashi food items. It's helpful that they also carry some fresh produce items now. I wish they had smaller carts than the one and only humungous-sized ones that look like it could carry a family of four. read more

My one complaint us that when I try to find things I like that are on the mannequins sometimes I can't find them and I end up leaving without purchasing what I want.
