It's been a while since I've been to a Kohl's and this one is still going strong! There's a Sephora inside this location which is convenient, but I mostly go to Ulta now. I think Kohl's prices are ok, but I don't believe you really score a deal here. I now mostly go to Kohl's for Amazon returns now which is why I recently visited. They are located across the street from Ontario Mills and right next to Sam's Club. They have a huge parking lot as well. Inside it's clean and organized. read more

Just a little annoyed today. Went to pick up my purchase and went to the Amazon pickup as suggested. No one working there and no one acknowledged me. I decided after waiting a while to go into the other line then some Caucasian lady gets in the Amazon line and the dude with pony tail runs up to her so I get back in the Amazon line because I'm on my break at work and the other line is really long. If I could give zero stars I would. Kohl's is a corrupt company that could care less about its customers and it shows. Kohl's has the worst customer service I have experienced anywhere. They screwed up and assigned another person to my rewards account. I sent them receipts that clearly show another person made purchases using a different credit card, but Kohl's couldn't care less because they thrive on scamming people. The other person then used the $20 Kohl's cash that was assigned to me. Kohl's being the horrible company that they are, refused to reissue the $20 Kohl's cash that I never used. This location is not my norm however worth the drive for me. Store is pretty big and clean. It's well organized and definitely has a better "in-stock" selection of items. I came to find a specific Levi's jacket for my kiddo- to my surprise they had the one he wanted, in his size, on clearance!! Staff members were friendly and helpful. Parking here is not an issue. Jocelyn works in the Sephora makeup store inside Kohls . Jocelyn was attentive with each of the customers , greeting each one as they walk into the store while answering questions with another customer. She recommended some products for acne prone skin which she also used herself and the results looked amazing on her . This is a place I often visit for Amazon returns. Generally, the staff inside the store are friendly, but the young woman who helped me today was far from professional. She was chewing gum loudly and spoke kindly to some customers, while being short and rude to others, like a child. Normally, I just ignore people like this, but I'm genuinely curious about what the management is thinking, hiring someone like her. We've already been to a few stores... we haven't found anything to our liking... selections are very limited for some reason or we're just late to the party and all the good boots are gone. This past weekend, we were near the Ontario Mills area and decided to stop by this Kohl's. We've purchased some good shoes from here in the past. Unfortunately, we did not like what we saw. It was no different than what we experienced at Marshall's or Ross when searching for boots. I try not to have expectations from any stores, but stores should have standards to keep the sections and aisles in good stock and great shape if nothing else. It was a mess. Shoes were everywhere, boxes were open... just not organized at all. It was an eye sore IMHO LOL. Other sections of the store appear to be okay though. Must be something about shoes. Maybe no one wants to touch them? Well, if that's the case, just wear gloves or something to cover your hands. Anyway, no cigar from here, either! So happy I found they had a sale for the Kiehl's ultra facial wash. Sephora is located at this location. I usually order online and do a pick up. It is more convenient than to browse in-store. Kohls cash can be accumulated quickly and makes it easier to order items I need. I use their Amazon return drop off which is easy to use. Good selection of items. They have nice Disney clothes and The Simpsons shirts/socks. I buy my nephews baby/toddler clothes here too. read more

I ordered some items via online for store pickup. First time here, and it was near impossible to find the online pickup area. I did see a sign at the front that stated that the online pickups are at customer service - but there were no other signs that lead me to know where the online pick up or the customer service is located. ONLY until about 20 to 25 feet from the actual pick up location is there a small sign hanging that says "Online Pickup." The area was rather obscure and located on the far left side of the store once you have entered via the main entrance. It was almost as if they intentionally tried to keep the location obscured - poor design. What WAS more noticeable is the Amazon return section - this was directly in the front. As you walk in, there is no way you can miss it. Why can't the online pickup be this way? I have no qualms about it being at any part of the store, but just at least make it inconspicuous and have more signs to let customers know of its location. Floor staff was almost non-existent; I understand it is a big store and they may not have enough staff to have around (thus, I was not able to locate someone to inquire about the location of the online pickup area). Other than that, the pick up personnel was very friendly and courteous. The line moved relatively quickly and no complaints on this department. read more

Let me first start by saying I do not shop at Kohl's, and now I know why... Came to the store today to return a Christmas gift, and received the absolute worst customer service. Not only did we feel unwelcome upon entering the store, the associates in all departments were rude. Once we completed our return, we were given a store credit and sent on our way. With a $50 credit in hand, I planned on just sending it to my Mom who loves Kohl's, but saw a cute Disney sweatshirt on the way out. I didn't see anymore, just the one on the mannequin, which just happened to be my size. Asked an associate if he could take it off the mannequin for me, and he said he would have to call someone. Ok, no problem. After about 5 minutes, he still never called anyone, and still didn't offer to help. That was my que to politely say "never mind" and left the store. The associate didn't even say someone is on their way, just said: "ok". Like I said before, I don't shop at Kohl's and I won't be back. Kohl's has the worst customer service I had an inquiry about my credit card , one simple question ..( am I able to pay down my principle aside from my regular balance) The 1st customer service representative would not answer my question and he kept me on the phone for 25 minutes he then proceeded to tell me it was gonna take another 30 minutes to speak to someone in a higher position to answer a yes or no question. I. I waited a total of 60 minutes a minute to get a simple answer of no. Your Customer service representatives need to be more informed on what is going on with your company. Horrible customer service for one simple question get it together Kohl's! I give the two stars for deals. The reason is be careful with using the Kohls cash. Kohls is engaging in very unfair practices of converting your cash into Kohl's cash (essentially store credit) and this is how they do it: For the sake of simplicity I will use small round numbers: 1. you placed order 1 worth $400 you get $40 kohls cash. 2. you placed order 2 worth $40, you paid with kohls cash. this order also has a additional 15% discount which you don't get because you use kohl's cash. 3, you returned part of the first order, let say worth $200, Kohls now give you only $160 back and keep $40 because the you no longer qualify for kohl's cash. 4. when you return part of the second order Kohls only give you Kohl's cash back and not money even though they already kept that same amount from you in money. so you see how they convert your cash to kohl's store credit. the store won't help, customer service don't help. Be sure you are aware. I will return stuff I bought from them to punish them from this behavior. they want to keep my money, well what they lost in sale from me will be a lot more. read more

When I asked the service staff, she was playing with her mobile phone and told me that I should go to the store to find out if there were any new ones. She didn't even check the inventory for me. She was unfriendly and condescending to my family and me as we had questions and concerns regarding a previous purchase and exchange. She rang us up incorrectly and was pushing her work off onto her co-workers. We had to have a second staff member rectify her mistakes, but she could care less. This isn't the first negative experience I've had with customer service at this Kohl's location. The elderly white lady at the jewelry counter was irritated that she had to help us because other staff couldn't. She called them "incompetent" and was bothered she had to pick up their slack. Why are you venting to the customer? Like Janay, she also rang us up wrong, costing me an extra $20 that Kohl's later wouldn't adjust. Not a huge fan. But once every couple months we get a $10 off coupon (with $10 minimum purchase) mailed to our house, so it's basically a free $10 to spend. The store is generally disorganized, and the racks are filled with clothes that belong on other racks. I don't blame the store so much for this; it just attracts a certain clientele that doesn't exactly care for cleanliness and order. Also, cell phone reception (Verizon) is terrible throughout the store, for some reason. But if you look hard enough, there are deals to be found. If you can deal with the disorder to save a few bucks on brand name clothing, then this place is for you. And the free $10 to spend about 4-6 times per year doesn't hurt. read more

I like shopping at this store during my lunch break, as it is close to my office. Its usually clean and well organized. The downside, twice now I've gone in to make an Amazon return only to have the Wifi go down and not be able to make a return. Went in today, stood in the long line for at least 25 minutes, only to be told they're having issues with their system (seems to happen often at this store) and then finally made it up to the front where I was next in line and we were all told Wifi was down! Had to leave at that point. What a waste of time again. No time to bother shopping. I felt bad for the workers. They were under pressure doing their best, but had no one to call on to fix the issue.
