We put everything back where it belonged, however the staff shot eachother smirks and made snide comments towards us. We believe that although we were laughing, they were rude and could have done better. Nothing was messed up or stolen yet the dirty looks continued until we left. We even cleaned up the sales rack where previous customers had left clothes on the floor and hangers ajar. We feel as if this was unfair as only one top was misplaced and a shirt was not folded to their exact standards. Would not recommend for anyone under the age of 30.

Once I find out I may be a little bit more comfortable with spending my money here. I actually heard that all of their merchandise that they don't sell goes to Rugid Warehouse or the Gabes out Glen Burnie. I finally bought my birthday dress from here and I loved it. The original piece was $89.00, but it was on the clearance for $49.99 with an extra 25% off. That was the only way that I was going to buy it. I am very satisfied to say the least. The sales associates there are pretty nice. I had one ask me if she needed to start a fitting room for me. I gave her my name and surprisingly when I got there she had spelled my name right! That meant a lot to me. Not too many people know how to spell my name. One of my other favorite things about Anthropologie is that they have the best books there. I remember years ago I bought a Birthday Fortune book that gives you your horoscope by the day and I have found that book to be so accurate. I often share it with others.

After striking out at Marshall's yesterday, we decided to check out Eastpoint mall today, mainly JC Penney. I would bet this store has been here since they built this mall and it looks like it. There's Clearance and construction throughout the store, on both floors. I can't tell if they're getting a make-over or if they are parring down, but it's not a good look. I'm pretty sure we used a freight elevator. We would have never found it unless the employee walked us there. There's a fine selection of clothing, all usually on sale. It's back-to-school time, and I'm massively jealous that the girls have the cutest clothes, while women are supposed to dress like they've been attacked by Jackson Pollock or are going camo in a splatterpaint room. I may be almost 50 but I still have some decent curves I'd like to show off. We found a great selection of ladies panties upstairs. I refuse to shop at Victoria's Secret... the old joke is right, her secret is that she's not making clothing for curvy girls. The mens underwear is downstairs. And there are only two registers throughout the entire store. One upstairs. One downstairs. I like Penney's. They're a half step above Kmart, but still give you that oldskool mall shopping experience.

I brought in a brand-new pair of Badgley Mischka shoes (retail value $139) that I received as a gift but couldn't wear because they were too small. They offered me $9, which I declined--no big deal. I planned to sell them elsewhere. The issue happened when an employee placed a pricing sticker directly on the shoe. When she removed it, it ripped part of the finish and left behind paper and adhesive residue. I pointed it out immediately, but I was told it was "just paper" and that it would come off. When I got home, I realized the residue wasn't coming off, and the sticker had actually damaged the shoe. I returned to the store to explain what happened. The owner looked at them and told me it was "no big deal" because the damage was barely noticeable. She offered me $40 for the shoes instead of taking responsibility for the damage her employee caused. These shoes were brand new, still in the box, and were only damaged because of how they were handled in the store. What disappointed me most wasn't just the damage--it was the complete lack of accountability. There was no apology, no acknowledgment that they had caused the problem, and no real effort to make it right. When I asked if they could offer $50 instead, I was told they would lose money. At that point, it was clear the focus was on protecting their profit rather than taking care of a loyal customer. I'm still shocked by how this situation was handled. A simple apology and an effort to make things right would have gone a long way.

The space is bright and new arrivals display at the entrance. I appreciate items are at reach and the textiles are neatly presented. During my visit the staff was very attentive with warm interaction, most especially during my selections and check out! Staff member went the extra mile to see if an item was clean toxic free. This is my first visit at this location and it won't be my last. It was conveniently located by my hotel and parking is ample on the street or underground.
