Went to Khols just to see what was new. I found 3 pairs of shoes, I ask the nice cashier if there was any coupons available and he said they will have them tomorrow and I can place the items on hold until the next day. I want to say Juan was his name but he was so generous and ask me if I want to open up an account and save money I told him I have one but wouldn't rather use cash. If I could give them zero stars I would. This place needs to go out of business and put us all out of their misery. The employees are rude beyond belief. If I would have treated customers the way my wife and I were treated today when I worked retail, I would have been fired on the spot. The worst thing about it was the fact that the so called manager, Tommy, was the rudest of the three people we encountered in their misnamed "customer service" department. We ordered a Christmas gift online from them. For obvious reasons, I'm not going to say what it was, but it was expensive enough to reward us over $100.00 in Kohl's cash. In the app, it said that if it was not picked up by December 6, it would be returned. So we go in, and the girl whose name I'm not sure about, asked for my wife's phone number. She couldn't find the item under that number, so she told us it must still be processing. My wife showed her where it said it would be returned tomorrow, and she said they would "probably" extend it, since it was processing. We kept telling her that didn't make sense, and we didn't want to lose the gift, because they were the only ones that had it. She repeatedly told us there was nothing she could do because it was still processing. I ask for someone who could do something, like definitely extending the date, or ensuring it actually was still processing. This went back and forth for a while, and then she decides to ask if we had our email. We found the email, only to have her tell us that it didn't actually say the order was placed. We finally found something on the email, and she typed that in the system, and, lo and behold, it's there, and it's scheduled to be returned if not picked up tomorrow. I asked to speak to a manager, and at this point, the other employee at the desk, named Tyler, decided to walk away from the customer he was dealing with and insert himself in the situation repeating everything the girl had said and arguing with us all over again. I asked if he was a manager, and when he said no, I told him to step away, and that it didn't concern him. He kept going even though he had left another customer standing there, and a line was building up. I told him again that we had asked for a manager, and that he needed to go back to what he was doing. At this point, he paged a manager again, and went back to his customer. When Tommy, the person claiming to be a manager showed up, Tyler decided he was the one who needed to do all the talking, and wouldn't let either my wife, me, or the girl who was actually waiting on us say anything. At this point I had to get loud and again tell him to stay in his lane. So Tommy now turns to the girl to find out the issue, and she tells him, leaving out a number of key points, like how she didn't want to do anything beyond looking up the order by phone number. My wife interrupted and filled in the missing pieces, but Tommy obviously didn't care, and just told us they couldn't do anything. By now the item was on the counter, and I just said that I was leaving, but they didn't have the receipt, and was not going to be accused of stealing it when I left. That started round two, where they told me it was taped to the box, which it wasn't. Finally we discovered the warehouse guy had shoved it in a hole in the box. By the time I left, I was about to have a stroke. So, what could they have done better? 1. When she couldn't find it by phone number, offer other ways to search for the order. I've been in IT for 30 years. I refuse to believe any system only allows for one way to search. Worst case, go back there and physically search for it. We did this all the time when I worked for Circuit City and Montgomery Ward. 2. Stay in their lane. Tyler was not involved, and made the situation 100 times worse with his arrogance and blatant ignorance of the facts. 3. Tommy needs to listen to the customer. I don't need him to repeat the same BS the girl, and God's gift to customer service, Tyler, and already said ad nauseum. A simple, I'm sorry for the confusion, and we will try to do better next time would have fixed everything. 4. Don't stuff the receipt in a hole in the box. This is a gift. I've got to fished the damn thing out now without damaging the box or the item inside. What could we have done better? 1. Anticipated the stupidity of a system that doesn't allow for multiple search keys, and printed our order out. 2. Shopped at a store where the employees have a clue. 3. Picked a different gift. 4. Canceled Christmas this year and told my family there will be no presents because the Kohl's grinch sent them back. Seriously, this was about the worst retail experience I've had. Don't ever expect to be checked out with your merchandise at Kohl's in less than 15 minutes. Waited in line for 10 minutes behind three other people and it was the same person checking out for the entire 10 minutes. This store sucks. I recommend going to Macy's or Dillards. I don't understand why these stores don't employ more checkouts. No wonder everybody shops online. I hope Kohls goes out of business. read more

I seem to have a love-hate relationship with Kohl's. Whenever I don't really need anything I can't find plenty that I really want, but when I go here to find those things again or something specific I'm pulling my hair out! I use Kohl's to get petite pants that are actually petite and get plenty of business shirts for the hubby. The biggest advice I can give anyone is NEVER buy anything that is not on sale. There is always a good sale going on every week and they rotate their items quite often. When you hit the clearance section items can be 60-80 percent off. This location is on the smaller size compared to other Houston area locations. I'm usually here after visiting my father-in-law on Sundays, otherwise I might not waste my time trying to find something at this location. What usually happens is I find something that I really want but I have to go find it at another location to get my size. I would much rather hit up any Kohl's than stress out by having to go to a mall department store. read more

Every time I go this Kohl's I have a hard time. This time I had $60 on kohls bucks to spend. I tried to buy towels...their signage stated Buy One Get One Half Off and they rang up $6.99. The SUPERVISOR told me that the BOGOH sign is for the regular price not the sale price. No where does it say that on any of the signage. To make a long story short.....they DID NOT HONOR THEIR SIGNAGE and I was forced to leave the store without any of the items I took over an hour to find.....I will NEVER EVER GO TO THIS KOHL'S AGAIN!!!!! Customer Service is Self control, concern, Respect & Attentiveness. With little to few people a customer shouldn't be an issue or imposition to shop. Unless you have gotten accustomed to standing, cleaning & wiping. Went to Kohls intended to get what I needed, wanted and get out so it shouldn't have been a problem. Didn't mean to impose on anyone! Yall didn't want to help, didn't care! One said "check out here" when I wasn't near register or near ready. Secondly in jewelry & perfume area I just wanted get few things. Yes, I was only customer. Via each item I was told "hold on, wait". I dildn't understand if there were no customers why tell me "wait get upset & rush me to go register :( She was totally nonchalant. The absolute worst!! I walk in to return an item that was order online and the clerk at the register was slouched over the counter playing on her phone and when I asked where I needed to go for a return she rudely said "Customer Servlce" so I had to ask her where that was located and all she said was to the back and pointed. Everyone in this store seems so depressed!! The lady at the customer service counter was friendly and greeted me properly and handled my return without any problems or delay. I walked past at least 4 people working in the store and I kindly smiled at each one, but not a single one said hi or even smiled back for that matter. I won't be back in this store! Not a good place to shop if you need any assistance if finding anything. You will not find anyone to help you, but can be assured that someone will come up to you with a clip board asking you if you currently have a Kohl's card. Just yesterday, I shopped for my young son & I could have used help with locating additional husky & his size. I would have spend close to double if this store held standards in offering assistance in their departments. I just left this location and was very disappointed with the customer service I received. I was looking for the women's coats and I asked a worker who was in the women's section where I could find them and she told me "by the Nike sign." I proceeded to look for this Nike sign and had some difficulty, but eventually saw one near the boy's clothing section. I didn't see any coats around but there was a lady working in the boy's section, so I asked her where I might be able to find women's coats. She told me "I don't have any in my section." I was shocked. Obviously women's coats would not be in the boy's section, I just needed help finding them. Needless to say, I left without ever finding the coats and was very disappointed with how I was treated. read more

Went to find a few outfits for my daughter for spring and I came across so m any cute little things. Shirts,shorts,dresses,rompers. I just couldn't stop grabbing things! And they had a great sale on everything I picked up. My total was 133 but thanks to the awesome cashier and her coupon stash I only paid 98 dollars with my Khols charge card. Went into the store to browse around n waste some free time and was looking at a few items for myself and was pleasantly greated with a young woman asking if i needed any assistance and at first i did not need any but after further shopping needed her and she returned and helped me with a very professional and comforting attitude and i was very impressed with how she handled herself. After i was helped she went on to conti.ye what she was doing. I continued to pay attention to her while i was shopping and must say there are not many places in this world that u can still get the service she provided with .too many places now days lack that customer service and i will continue to shop there and hope that her superiors see in her what i did n my short shopping trip to kohls.that woman needs a raise or a promotion.
