The Sephora at kohl's has the worst customer service ever. 3 employees on 3 different days were rude and offered no solution. they didn't have my item in store which is fine but kept telling me the shipment was coming the next day and 2 weeks later still no item. Kohl's partnership with Amazon is great. We like to stop in and bring back our returns and use the coupon we get to find something we need at Kohl's. There is a big selection throughout the store of clothes, home goods, toys (the kid's favorite section), and other items. You can usually get pretty good deals when you use coupons and when you have the Kohl's card, that helps too. The people who help at the Amazon counter have all been nice as well. read more

I bought a can opener at Christmas it had a rebate on it. I followed all directions and sent it in immediately. I still have not gotten the rebate money. I have sent proof of everything repeatedly because I kept a copy of it all. This is obviously a scam they have going to make extra money from honest shoppers because 5 months later I have still not gotten the 14.00 they owe me. This is a sad way of doing business. I can tell they just don't care but I work hard for my money and I would have just went to Wal Mart and gotten it for the price I would have gotten it for without the rebate if I had known how they operate the rebate department. I am just advising anyone to go on to Wal Mart for the lower price and avoid all the rebate situation you will never receive. Never again and they couldn't care less!! read more

Its pretty cool, how Kohl's and Amazon partner up in order to better assist customers with returns. The return station is in the middle of the store, which is inconvenient for large returns. The store has arrows on the ground to direct customer flow. Once you make the return, you will receive a 25% off coupon with tracking information. read more

A Kohl's is a Kohl's, no matter what state you're in. The racks are too close together, but they are jammed with good deals. This store is no more or no less messy than any other. The cashier was friendly and gave me my 20% off, even though I forgot my coupon. read more

I shop at Kohl's occasionally. I feel the quality of products carried are middle of the road and the company has good sales discounts. I quickly stopped by last night to use the promotional "Kohl's Cash" you receive with qualifying purchases. I was standing in line waiting to check out. The check out is completely blocked off with black ropes where you have to go by all the impulse buy items. I had to wait quite a while. There were only 2 cashiers, even though it was right after 9-5 work hours on a Friday evening. While waiting, another customer walked past the line in front of me and stepped up to the register. I mentioned that it was actually my turn. The customer who cut me off was really rude to me, verbally making a scene in the store. Obviously his actions have nothing to do with the company. What bothered me was that both these cashiers had seen me waiting. Both also let him verbally abuse me and continued to ring up his order. I visually saw that another employee was standing off to the side observing the exchange with an amused expression. I was visibly flustered but no employees offered apologies and just pretended to ignore this man's rude attitude. I made a motion to set down my merchandise and just leave the store and the cashier called out to me asking why I was not checking out even after witnessing the way the other customer treated me. She then also tried to upsell me asking if I wanted to buy more items at a discount or sign up for their credit card. I feel that this lack of human empathy and complete disregard for customer service is sad. I doubt I will be back. I am very upset by the entire experience and do not feel that the discount product they carry is worth lowering my standard for decent human behavior. read more

I hate to admit this was my 1st time in Kohls. I have friends and family who love this store, but sadly I hate shopping unless I have money to blow which is rare. My mom needed some stuff so we came here. I was surprised at how big the store was. I thought the layout was kind of weird as well. I noticed they carried a lot of name brand goods, but a lot of things were marked down. They have several different departments including household, shoes, etc. We ended up getting 2 pairs of Deerfoam slippers which were buy 1 get one half off ($25 each normally). My mom got 2 nightgown short sets for $20 each and I got a nightgown dress/be lazy around the house dress for $25. Total was about $120 after taxes, but she signed up for the reward and a credit card and saved more, so we ended up paying $77 for everything. I would probably come back when I have more time because I did see some stuff I liked. read more

I called the Kohl's store yesterday, from the Boston MA area, hoping that someone in the Men's Department would be able to help me...my son, at Univ. Of TN/Knoxville needed a jacket/pants for an event. Allison (from the Men's Dept) picked up the phone and she was amazing! She put me on hold, went and looked for some items, and came back to me, describing what she found. She then put the items on hold (in my son's name) at the Customer Service Desk, and my son tried on & purchased the items last night. Kohls is a conveniently situated store where i find a perfect present every time. Their earring selection is huge. They have rather classic and conservative stles that appeal to a large segment of the population. They have also a vast selection of gifts for the home.. When it comes to fashion it is not my favorite place in an emergency situation it could work but that is just my particular personal opinion bexause i know some people that even prefer kohls. Its a nice little department store that works out most of the time. read more

They have very good clearance deals! It's nice that they have signs everywhere. My mom and I came here to use the bathroom. First off the bathroom will have to be checked a lot more than what they are doing. There was no toilet paper in at least half if not more of the stalls I checked. I am a woman, I want to be able to wipe myself when I have to pee. There was also no paper towels in the dispenser. A few of the women in there had to use the toilet paper to dry their hands. I did sign up for the yes 2 you rewards. The sales lady was very nice and helpful. The only problem was that the registers kept freezing on us. Overall, I give 3 stars because of the helpful lady and that the clearance deals were easy to locate. read more

This Kohl's is absolutely horrible. I have been here a hand full of times, and every time have had the worse customer service. One cashier was rude to my mother and acted as if she was stupid. I called and spoke to the manager about this incident and she was just as bad. She said she had no employee by that name, and there would be nothing she could do. Their clothes are never organized, the clearance items are literally just thrown on racks( this issue is mainly in the women's & Junior's sections). The one good thing is I can usually find some Big & Tall items for my fiance on clearance for pretty god prices. read more

Wow! Great great service. I felt like an individual a jewelry employee really got to know and thanks to her, I got an incredible watch for my boyfriend with a killer deal. With kohls constant discounts and this particular employees efforts to help me on a college student's budget, I left there almost in tears by how gracious and helpful she was. I love the merchandise Kohl's stocks and really enjoy shopping there up until my last visit (which really was my last visit). I had spent approximately 2 hours in the store getting gifts for my family for Christmas. My total was over $600 and when I presented my Kohl's charge to the cashier, I was told I had to have a card with my name on it - not my husband's name. I had never tried to use it in there before and it never dawned on me that a store could turn down business due to something this ridiculous, but they did. The cashier looked at me like I was a criminal or that I was stealing something or sneaking behind my husband's back to charge on his card. It was embarrassing and I will never go to Kohl's again. They lost out on about $5,000 - 6,000 per year in sales when they lost my business. read more

Easily the worst shopping experience of my life. Customer service is foreign thing here. I spent an hour and a half looking for one item and was not once asked if I needed help, inspite of the half dozen employees milling around the store. I have no idea what these people are getting paid to do if not upkeep the store and help customers. It may not have been so hard to find if everything wasn't strung about randomly and piled in such a fashion you had to literally dig through a pile of unfolded clothes to even get to the sizes. I've never seen a store so trashed and unattended. To top it off something I found that might be acceptable was completely overpriced. Nevermind the buy one get one half off sale, as they jack the initial price so high you're paying more than you would anywhere else. I always thought Kohl's was suppose to be an affordable place but it is anything but. I spent the last 15 minutes the JC Penny across the street was open to look for my item, and found exactly what I needed for under $30, whereas at Kohl's I would have been spending $70 and then reluctantly forced to buy another for $35, if there were even 2 I could find.
