We arrived before opening and were waiting outside at 9:57 AM. At around 10:03 AM, an employee wearing a black tank top with long hair came to open the door. She walked slowly toward the entrance, and when she opened it, she did not greet us, smile, or even acknowledge us. She appeared irritated and was yawning. I understand that everyone can have a difficult morning, but a simple "Good morning" would have made a difference. While we were shopping, my son said hi to another employee, who was very kind and greeted him back. When my son said hi to the employee who had opened the door, however, she did not respond or smile at him. Later, my son accidentally peed on the floor. The employee informed me, and I immediately apologized. She then walked away. When I saw the accident, I asked if I could have a mop so I could clean it myself, but she told me it was okay and that they could take care of it. I appreciated that, but her overall attitude throughout our visit made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I love Aerie, and this location has always been my favorite. I understand that employees have bad days, but customers should still be treated with basic courtesy and kindness. Even a simple greeting or smile can make a big difference, especially when shopping with children. I hope this concern will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. I am sharing this because I genuinely enjoy shopping here and would love to continue having positive experiences at this location. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.

Nevada became a territory just before the Civil War in 1861. We became the 36th state on October 31, 1864. In fact, Nevada became a state to ensure the re-election of President Lincoln to add to the three electoral votes. Many believe that Nevada is just known for "sin" with all the lights and glam of the strip but there's more to our little city than meets the eyes. After the gold rush in California, Nevada was considered part of the Utah Territory, then the Nevada Territory. Our state was named for the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Nevada translates to "snowy" in Spanish. It's due in part to the snowy capped Sierras surroundings our battle born state. From the beginning Nevada seems as a harsh desert. Why would anyone want to exist and live here? Actually the cultural aspects of the state are rich and diverse. Many Native Americans call Nevada their home: Paiute, Washoe, and Shoshone. The Mormons settled here. When gold and silver were discovered many boom towns emerged all over Nevada. Later gambling was introduced and boomed during the depression keeping the economy growing. Many immigrants flocked here to mine and work on the Hoover Dam. All the diverse communities made a melting pot for individuals that call Nevada their home. This store began in Reno, where they sell "all things produced and made in Nevada." The pride that comes with being "Battle Born," and from the "Silver State," runs deep with locals and tourists. Take a piece of history made from an incredible individual from Nevada today. They sell unique items that are incredibly creative. I used to have Kohl's. I have shopped there for years. I recommended a bunch of people to get khols credit cards because I've been using mine for a few years. About six months ago one of my payments did not go through on Kohl's end and I saw on my credit. I called them and they immediately fixed it and said sorry for missing that. I paid the payment.. And that everything was fixed. I just went to run my credit report because I am trying to buy a home. And lo and behold the Kohl's in accurate charge on the card has never been taken off. I was obviously upset and called them immediately when I saw this. when I called I spoke to a man named Vincent and it's not his fault but his answer made me even more mad. He told me he doesn't see that I owe anything. And that it just hasn't hit my credit report? In six months?... And then he proceeds to tell me my card is closed because of no payment? But don't worry I can reopen one. Not gonna happen. Who knows when this charge will come off of my credit that I never did. Kohl's basically told me it was my problem when I have been a good customer to them. In times like this it's not worth it when a company messes with your money or your credit and then not fixing it for me making it right at all is so unprofessional. At least target and Walmart won't steal from you. Safe to say I will not be reopening a card. And I'm going to warn everyone that I have told to open a card with them. read more

Worst shopping experience I've had in a very long time. After selecting the shoes we wish to purchase went and got in the nearest checkout line that said check out and returns. After 20 minutes of letting people cut in line in front of us an assistant came over and told us this line was for returns only and that I would have to go to the other checkouts located on the far side of the store. Being disabled I have trouble walking and was very slow by the time I got over there I was at the back of the long line again. because the people that were behind me in the previous line were now in front of me on this one. Waited another 20 minutes to check out. The day before I had returned an Amazon item I had purchased online and was given a coupon. Carefully read the coupon and it stated that neither shoes nor the brand was excluded from the discount. When I get up the register the cashier told me the item was excluded from the discount. I asked her to read the coupon and she said it states that Kohl brands are excluded. After explaining that under armor was not a Kohl brand she refused to run the coupon to even check. Will not be returning to this store anytime, ever even if they pay me. Kohl's sucks. read more

Had a pleasant chat with a sales person about shopping for a Father's Day gift, it was helpful. Once I found the item, made an effort to look for their register to make the purchase. This could be considered a luxury garment, it's a special occasion & thought it'ld be nice to have a garment bag for the present. When asked, the team member excused themselves and returned with the gift enclosed in a dry cleaners type, flimsy plastic bag knotted at the bottom. I was a bit puzzled since the person seems to be professional and understood. When asked again, they checked w' another team member & returned with the comment more or less: "that kind of bag could not be given to me because of that kind of spend..." The tone was different and seemed discourteous. In a normal way asked how much I could purchase one for. I'ld like to say that I wasn't asking based on the retail or the final sales price of the garment (good value), it was from what I thought was a conversation about me finding a cool gift. During 20+ years as a purchasing customer, haven't needed anything like this so thought it was a reasonable ask. It was suggested that I could go to customer service, maybe they could provide one, but were not sure? I would've preferred a simple no thank you, that's not available rather than the snarky, condescending remark. The back-and-forth thing over such an incidental request was also unnecessarily time-consuming, this was an overall dissatisfying experience. ENDS

The mall is great, but the staff here are outright offensive and discriminatory towards customers. I had a great experience midweek picking up an online order and I took advantage of the additional discount for buying additional items while I was there. Today, the store manager decided it was prudent to eavesdrop on a private conversation I was having with my disabled daughter. This "store manager" made outrageous claims and threatened to inform her district manager about me. This same "store manager" refused to provide even her first name. The issue was that the so called manager was demanding the other associate to help customers while she stood behind the counter appearing to not be doing anything. While waiting in line another customer jumped the line and this "manager" helped them without any delay. When my daughter looked at me questioning what was happening we began talking. The associate ordered to help customers was struggling with basic tasks such as inputting a customer phone number for their rewards program. She was friendly, but slow and appeared to need additional training. Training, service, and the issues my daughter and I observed were discussed while waiting for the associate to retrieve my paid order. My primary concern is the disrespectful behavior and unprofessionalism of this supposed nameless manager. Not only did I call her out for discrimination when she claimed it was acceptable for her to interrupt our conversation, but also claim I was being loud. Perhaps a loud whisper is her definition of loud, but when my daughter has multiple disabilities including hearing loss, this "manage" is discriminating against the customers of the store. Then to threaten to tattle about my concern to her DM is just comical. I'd LOVE to speak to her DM! 0/5 stars. I would never recommend this location due to this middle aged blonde "manager" and her behavior. I will not shop this location ever again. I am debating canceling my store card and never spending one more dollar at any Torrid location as this attitude seems embedded into the culture there.

I remember when they used to be on the first floor next to one of the department stores, now they're on the second floor next to Bath & Body Works. It has been a VERY long time since I stepped inside Hollister, I think it's been almost 20 or so years since I last bought something here. I was looking for some new clothes for my upcoming trip to Europe and wanted to make a quick stop here before wrapping up my trip to the Galleria. I ended up buying a really cute green sundress (pockets included, score!!!) and a matching green sweater. Now there was another girl that was rude and dismissive, her name was Marianna who, if she is a supervisor, or manager over Ria, she NEEDS TO BE DEMOTED BELOW HER!. She was rude and dismissed us when we were at the register asking a question. This was when she "informed" us (while Ria was looking for an item we already asked about and we were waiting for her) she was busy (showing another rep something at the register) showinganother employee something even though initially she wasnt.. I have no problems if someone is training someone but that does NOT mean you need to be rude and dismissive to a customer, especially since I wasnt being rude and was respectful to her while she's looking at me with disdain like Im not worth her time. First of all, Im an adult, more than likely make 4x as much as her, and ive worked retail as well before.. I spent close to $200 in that store and If my daughter could've passed on her purchases, I probably would've kept my money and moved on but I wouldn't allow someone's else's small mindedness ruin her shopping trip. Hollister needs to not keep people like this cause if I go in there again and come across the same attitude I will definitely not be spending anymore funds there and I will also be notifying other military to spend their money elsewhere. Ria is a gem so please put someone such as her in charge who knows how to treat customers and works hard cause she was hustling with a positive attitude and a smile! If management wants to contact me about this please do. But again, Marianne seems to be full of herself and needs to not be in a higher position, and if she is, she needs to be replaced by Ria.
