When I visited, I found the clothes to be a wide variety. I found plenty of things to buy in my…read morestyle. The cashier was fast and kind, making it easier for us to get out in time for dinner. I browsed the toys and I saw plenty of things to get for my sister. Stuffed animals, regular toys, and a good variety of clothes for boys and girls. The store is clean. My only downside is that the sizes are a little misleading. I'm a size medium and the Ed Hardy shirt I bought in medium was too tight so I recommend the dressing rooms. Besides that, I saw plenty of styles, items, and nothing out of the ordinary. I found the store nice and I plan to go again soon.

Former Employee Review - Ross Dress for Less…read more I used to love Ross for its wide selection and the thrill of finding new treasures - until I worked there. It became the most toxic work experience of my life. Management Issues The store manager, who has been there over 10 years, is rarely present (often helping other locations). However, when she is on-site, the atmosphere becomes oppressive. Fear permeates the aisles. Despite being punctual, a team player, and consistently going above and beyond, I rarely received the positive feedback or recognition I deserved. Scheduling Problems - Schedules posted as late as one day before the work week often. - Hours changed without adequate notice or employee consent. - Despite working full-time hours as a part-timer and requesting full-time status, I was told only managers and those with open availability qualified - yet new hires were brought on as full-time employees the following week. - Inconsistent scheduling practices created constant uncertainty and it was impossible to have a good work life balance. Workplace Culture Established cliques among long-term employees compete for preferred positions and shifts. The environment feels exclusionary and politically charged rather than collaborative. Operational Challenges The store is chronically understaffed, leading to: - Long customer wait times and frustrated, sometimes hostile customers - Frequent employee call-outs and no-shows - Those who show up consistently shoulder disproportionate workloads - High turnover - some employees quit without notice My Experience I tried nearly all entry-level positions and demonstrated capability for advancement, but the toxic management style and poor treatment of staff made staying untenable. I am happy that I left as I hear that things are still the same or worse. Final Thoughts I can no longer support this business as a customer, despite having been a regular shopper for years. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect in their workplace. Unfortunately, this appears to be a systemic issue across many Ross locations (also experienced working in another Ross store in another state with similar issues), not just this one. It's truly disappointing when a company's internal culture contradicts the positive shopping experience it tries to provide customers. So do not believe their posters. These are just words.

While my initial reason to come to the area wasn't completely for shopping, I made the best of the…read morerest of the day I had ahead of me. I sought out a few locations that I should hit up to see if I could grab some new clothing at a decent price. I came here in hopes that I would succeed. I showed up just as they were opening and found it to be a bit eerie. Hardly anyone in the store and the employees doing what looked like closing tasks that didn't get completed. I even had to move a time or two as they were vacuuming under the racks. I felt more in the way than I should have. I initially went in and right back to the kitchen and houseware section. This section was laughable. Hardly anything there and the two aisles they had set aside felt a little too much for this. Not finding anything there I moved onto the clothing section. I was kind of impressed with the Burlington location. Unlike some that I have been to, this was the perfect size. No shrinking of the floor and putting up makeshift walls. It was bright and organized. Albeit, some areas were lacking items. I scanned through the dress shirts really quick and was about to give up until I was the clearance section. I was looking for long-sleeved dress type shirts, for work. I was skeptical to try them on at first, but I gave it a try right on the floor, it's easier to try on a button up shirt without a dressing room than other clothing items. I was able to find two shirts here and was quite happy. Heading to the register I also checked out a few items there, grabbed new phone holder for my vehicle. Guess what, that thing broke already. You win some, you lose some.

There was one checker and a line of 15 people when I was going thru. Long wait. There was another…read morelady behind the counter but didn't open up another one. Was in line for over 25 minutes with other customers laying their items down and walking out. The checkers name was Leslie and she was very nice and said she was sorry for the wait. She needs a raise and the other lady needs to be fired.

I had to write a review for Classic Tuxedo because this has some of the best customer service I…read morehave ever experienced. Evan, Brian, and Kevin, you are the best! My fiancé and I were in Harrisonburg, VA for a wedding in which he was a groomsman. We drove all the way from NYC before we realized that I had left his tux back in our apartment. That was at 4:25pm on Friday night, right before the rehearsal dinner, and the wedding was Saturday at 5pm. I called Classic Tuxedo in a panic, explaining that we needed an emergency tux. Brian answered and calmly said, "no problem, we can do that" and offered to stay open past 6 if we weren't able to make it before. Luckily we were right down the road so we went over to Classic Tuxedo where they immediately assuaged our fears by being incredibly helpful and affordable with absolutely no surcharge on emergency / last minute pricing. Evan assisted us - my fiancé showed him the photo of the tux everyone was wearing and he put together the perfect set for us that matched exactly. He also suggested a few things to make the tux more comfortable and just was a terrific help. By 5:30pm that day, we walked out of Classic Tuxedo with a perfect tux and everything we needed along with it. It doesn't even end there. Classic Tuxedo is closed on Sundays and we were heading back to NYC on Sunday. When we explained this to Evan, he offered to come into the store on his day off, Sunday, just to meet us so we could drop off the tux. I can't say enough positive things about how this team worked to make us comfortable (in a pretty nerve wracking situation!), and went out of their way and above and beyond to make things easy for us. Thank you SO much Kevin, Brian, and Evan! You saved our weekend!!!!
