When I approached the owner about finding something in another size she mentioned that she carried sizes that were appropriate to her customer base and if she stocked items with every size available she wouldn't make any money. Basically shaming me for needing a larger size. I wasn't asking for anything extreme just a size XL (to fit the girls) or a size 10 jeans. They seem pretty picky about what they buy which is a good thing -- it means the racks are full of interesting stuff, often from higher end places you would usually have to get in NoVA. So the price on an item was less than the one that came from corporate. I asked for a manager and the manager said there weren't any more there but the price was the one from corporate. This doesn't seem to be fair considering if I went to another register there wouldn't have been any issue about the item and would have gotten it for the price that it scanned up. I don't think this is right of Gabe's especially when I spent a lot of money on this visit. I am seriously considering returning all of what I purchased and not give them any of my money in the future for this type of customer service.

I did not want to buy them online because I needed to try them on because of how my feet are. I have ankle issues and knee issues. If I wear any shoes besides Hoka one one Bondi series I walk with a limp. Due to how my arches i my feet are and my ankles. When you wear them it's like walking on marshmallows they feel so good. I called them up an asked if they had any in stock. The staff was very nice. They said they had them in 8.5 wide which is really hard to find. I went there an was totally surprised they had a bunch of Hoka Bondi shoes in stock. I could not believe I finally found a store that actually had some in stock. Both times, the service has been excellent and so I am chalking up my one frustrating experience to just not being on top of their game. In fact, one of those times I went in to fix a flat and instead of selling me a tire, they patched the tire instead and did not even charge me. That is above and beyond what you would expect from a business. I also appreciate the business responding to my previous experience and appreciate that they looked into it. Looking forward to giving them more of my business in the future!
