I been coming here for a long a time and absolutely love it so much and they have everything nice prices and plus lots of things on sale and the store is so clean and sanitary and all the employees are always so friendly welcoming and caring kind and always their to help and best products to get for gifts and i seriously recommend it come here it is absolutely AMAZING SPECTACULAR OUTSTANDING and big store and lots lots of things to look at and fun and exploring and very is so organized and friendly and the only complaint I have is they had a lots of SELF CHECKOUTS i don't like standing in line that much and that is it. Hobby Lobby is nearest place in Harrisonburg that has such a wide variety of craft projects (DYI), home decor, furniture, and much more. They are always hosting a sale, so if your like any women in my family that decorates every room including the bathroom - this is the place for you!! Good selection, but the part I've always loved about hobby lobby is the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere. This one failed to deliver on that, the staff is rude, cold, and treat you like you're not even there. Even the customers there seem to be acting the same way, a personal prejudice against outsiders. Very odd, uncomfortable, and I have no clue to this day what's going on. We've gone there three times and left disappointed each time. Never going back here. read more

Every stall in men's bathroom was clogged and painted with defecate. I found this interesting and disgusting as the restrooms were near impossible to find. I'm not sure who would be responsible for such diabolical deeds but as a husband who accompanies my wife to hobby lobby on occasion, I should be able to enjoy at least one aspect of this establishment. Whoever is in charge of cleaning the restrooms should ask themselves if they would utilize the commodes in that condition. This was also on a Monday at 1pm. Otherwise the store was fine. read more

Hobby Lobby: Well I've been in a lot of these craft stores with my wife but this one is far the best one I have been in. The Store is about 20,000 ft.² of crafts; i've never seen such a large array or assortment of things. Each aisle is crammed with things that a crafter would be in heaven with . I tried to take a lot of pictures ,but unfortunately I'm running out of space. So a lot I leave up to your imagination. If you cannot find it in your local craft store I suggest you look at hobby lobby. They can be found online if you cannot find them near your residence. read more

It pains me to leave this review because I have always loved hobby lobby but today the level of deceit was just astounding. My fiancé and I came in with my mom to buy candles for our wedding. They were on the 50% off selections they offer. When we went to checkout the woman told us that the sticker on the candles was already marked off... interesting because the manufacturers amount that was the same price and they had their workers put the stickers on top of the manufacturers price. When we asked to see a manager he literally said to us "well I guess the manufacturer made a mistake." Ummm no you lied and had your workers put a price over top of the price printed and are scamming people. Christian environment huh. read more

Here's the Scoop: Happen to notice this store when we first arrived here in Virginia and thought hmm they'll have craft stuff in there I must check this store out before we leave. Yasssssszz!! This store is a gold mine!!! I literally had to run out of Hobby Lobby. So many stamps, inks, stencils, craft ideas, supplies you would see online. Every aisle I went down followed with oooh aaah!! I spent only $100 but really I could have easily spent more. They had a half price sale as well going on. I really want to go back because they had a machine that I really want at a reasonable price but my hubby said let's see if you can get it cheaper online. I doubt it but I agreed. I know I'm going to be sorry. I'm going to check also to see where a Hobby Lobby can be found in New York. This store is Michaels, AC Moore, Home Goods all rolled into one. I'm smitten with this store (see pics) they're online but it's nothing like being in one. Sharon my Yelper jewelry maker you would be in heaven. If I could give more stars I would. So I went in to see about what new items were out and what cool things to go after for early Christmas gifts, as I travel to this area semi regularly for business. So I'm walking in, taking a few close up pictures on my phone of items of interest, as it's a way for me to know where I saw it and what I'm looking for when I return again. I'm not in the store 5 minutes until I hear "Ma'am? Ma'am? It's store policy to not take pictures while inside the store.... thank you." I turn around and see a check out girl, who has left her check out register, and the line of customers within it, has literary walked yards down the store in order to tell me about my picture taking. I quickly left, and called the customer service line to lodge a formal compliant. I was told that was not a Hobby Lobby policy by their complaint line. In my various travels, of approximately 50,000 miles a year in just a car, and the various local shopping I do in any town I stop in, I have never, not once, ever had someone say that was against store policy. I have been in museums, been in malls, been in Bloomingdales and been in fine jewelers and never have I had anyone have issue with me taking pictures of items. I've even had other Hobby Lobby managers, at other locations, be perfectly fine with it.... So, never will I be going back to that store. First impression for that store for me, last impression. read more

The selection and prices are very good. They have rotating deals on lots of items. It's easy to spend an hour here for me. That being said, customer service is fairly poor. Today, after asking where I can find more wooden letters like the one I found, I was told "I don't know. I'm new here." After finding them myself, I proceed to checkout with a large selection of items. I present a coupon from the Hobby Lobby flyer I received in the mail and I was told it wouldn't be accepted because it wasn't from the website (what!?). After explaining that I received it in the mail, I was told "I don't care. I won't accept it." Which is fine because I'm now going to Michael's to purchase the items I would have been purchasing from hete. read more
