Pretty amazing place. Gigantic. Fantastic selection. I've heard that this place is very expensive, which is sort of true. However, there's a ton of cheaper or very fairly priced items. Just about any antique you can think of you can find here. It's a little overwhelming at times. You could spend 5 hrs here if you have the time and energy for it. My husband and I were there for close to 2 hrs today, and I'm sure there's so much we didn't see. We will certainly be back. Lots of unique, interesting, beautiful collectible pieces. read more

Especially during gift giving season as it gives me so much inspiration. Prices can vary from booty to booth. You're unlikely to find something of great value at a discounted price. 1. The cafe ... very expensive $6 hot dogs & $3 sodas. 2. When you are told you would get a 10% discount when paying with cash, you should get the discount. The dealer played a game and lied to me and said I would get 10% discount if I paid with cash and I did, however, I didn't get the discount. When I went back to the dealer, the gentleman who said the I would get the discount had conveniently gone home for the day. So I returned the pen. I am extremely angry, I ended up with no pen which I very much wanted. The other person who was there wouldn't do anything about what his son said to me and the mall wouldn't do anything about it either. All in all, this was the worst experience I have had antiquing in years. I would not recommend the mall, but if you do shop, avoid the pen dealer near checkout. Decided to visit when nearby and was not disappointed. Truly the largest antique mall I've ever been to and it's still growing! Walking just the perimeter of the building took me 2 hours. (granted i did a fair share of digging) The cafe had some pretty good lunch specials and was the perfect place for a refresh mid shop. Some overpriced items but also some steals. Was able to get a few really cool vintage cameras. Overall if you enjoy wandering and happen to find yourself nearby this will definitely keep you busy. read more

This place is huuuuge. We spent a little over 3 hours here and struggled to see even a third of it, probably less. The booths are typical Mid-Atlantic antique mall fare, but the sheer number of vendors multiplies the chances of finding something you can't live without. Clear your calendar folks! This is the largest antique mall of its kind in the US! For real! It may take you at least the weekend, if not more, to see everything this huge antitiquers paradise has to offer! Aisles and aisles of treasures that's frankly, daunting! As an avid "junker", I never thought I'd be so overwhelmed by a store, but this one is so massive and holds so much stuff, it boggled my mind. I just walked in and was like "WOW"! So we methodically started down the well-organized grid like floor plan, with street names marking the miles of lanes, discovering cool treasures in every booth! You name it... it's here!! From shiny brass to colored glass, furniture to chose and garden statues, to cookie jars and vintage cars, to retro toys and duck decoys, to handmade quilts and even stilts, to rustic tools and quirky ghouls, to shelves of dishes and mounted fishes, tons of books and kitchen nooks, plus jewelry galore so much to explore!! The majority of the vendors are meticulous in displaying their wares. The prices range from "wow, what a bargain" to "what? You've got to be kidding" which is to be expected in such a humongous shop such as this! Collectors, pickers, junkers, antiquers and even occasional browsers will be amazing at the selection at this brightly colored mall! At one point we got separated from our friends, and had to call them to reconnect! Marco??? Polo??? They have a snack bar and some seating when, not if, you need a break. And the facilities are clean, spacious and well stocked. Check out is stream lined, but the lines can be long. Antiquing is subjective. This place is huge, so you can spend all day here, or be in and out in 90 minutes like I was. I have a very specific eye, and they didn't have very much at all of what I look for, so that's why I was able to get in and out so quickly. I did come away with 3 small pieces at fair prices. Initially, I planned to eat at the snack bar, but changed my mind. Burgers and sandwiches, basically and that didn't really appeal to me at the time. If you're into Blenko or Fiesta, there is a booth of each that will delight you (on completely opposite sides of the mall). This is an okay mall, but definitely not something I'd make a special trip to again. read more

North America's largest Antique Mall is not too far away from us in D.C! To be honest, at first... I doubted the large sign that hung on the front of the building "America's biggest." I was like... I wonder how dated that sign is... But then I did a little research before I wrote this review... and found an Antique Mall called "The Heart Of Ohio" which claims to be the current largest Antique mall; and I was a bit skeptical. But guess what guys. After doing more research, I was able to find out that Factory Antique Mall is like 10 thousand sq ft bigger than the Heart Of Ohio. And I wasn't able to find anywhere else which is claiming to the be the biggest. And you're asking yourself... why is he going on and on about this? Well, let me just say: Any antique hunter worth his weight in geldings would love to say that they've been to the largest antique mall in the United States of America... and, get ready for it. I have now been to the largest Antique Mall in United States of America. *Champagne Cork Pops* Gifts can be sent to P.O Box ;) This mall is so big that they've labeled each of the aisles with streets. This antique mall is so big that they have a cafe. This antique mall is so big that their men's bathroom is big enough to host a happy hour. I mean... it'd be a gross happy hour... but still. This mall's so big that when it walked past the TV, I missed three episodes of the Netflix show I was bingin'. This mall is so big that it doesn't need the internet cause it already worldwide. This mall is so big, I tried drivin' around it and I ran out of gas. But seriously, this is an enormous antique mall, and you can find NUMEROUS deals and great antiques. You could also spend an entire day exploring it. Probably even more than a day. We went here on Friday... and had about an hour. We were able to finish like 2 "streets". We literally came back on Monday to do more of the mall. There's a Mcdonalds within walking distance if the cafe is closed to so you can re-up on some fuel to finish the journey. Which is actually what we did. The women at the front were SO nice to us though. I had an antique flag that I bought at another antique store that I didn't want to leave in my hot car (I was afraid it was gonna get damaged), and they had no problem holding it at the front for me. They also held a vintage rice bowl that I found at the front while we continued to shop. They were just very friendly, and interested in helping in any way. I found the Factory Antique Mall online from a search for interesting and unique places to visit in Virginia. It is advertised as the largest antique mall in America. You say the largest antique mall in America? Challenge accepted!!! We visited for the first time in June 2022. We set aside one whole day on our way home from our Virginia road trip. First of all, the drive here was beautiful. It is sort of out in the middle of nowhere, but the scenery on the drive here was lovely. There is lots and lots of parking when you arrive. There was a small display of yard sculptures in the front of the building. The building doesn't look so big from the front - but just wait until you get inside. Once inside, the Factory Antique Mall is just huge. You think that you are almost finished when you turn a corner and then there is another whole huge section that you couldn't see from the entry. We ended up spending our entire day here shopping and browsing. We shopped until lunch, then we went out to get lunch (because the in store restaurant was closed for vacation) and then came back and shopped for hours and hours. There is a Wendy's and convenience store in walking distance. Both me and my partner found items of interest here. We spent about $75 on a number of small items, mostly things that we put right into use in our home. So this is why I am giving four stars instead of five stars. There is a lot of stuff in this building that is antique and there is a lot of stuff in here that is brand new. All of the stuff that we bought here was great stuff but none of it was actually antique. We bought 4 pieces of new Fiestaware, a new Waterford crystal vase, some fidget magnets, a Ravensburger puzzle, some handmade scented soaps, I am sure that I am forgetting something but yeah. Great stuff, great prices, but there is a lot of stuff that isn't antique. I collect a lot of antiques and while they do have a lot of antiques I didn't find anything I wanted that was actually old or antique. I'm not saying this to bash the place because I actually loved it but I just want anyone that travels here to have the proper expectations. I also have one other small gripe and that is the amount of politically incorrect stuff that I saw in some of the vendor booths. I could have done without seeing that sort of stuff. Okay I am done ranting on this. Management maybe you might want to speak to your vendors about cleaning up what they are selling a bit. My suggestion to anyone planning to visit is that you should come the the Factory Antique Mall expecting antiques as well as a lot of cool and desirable brand new items. The mix is probably 50% antiques and 50% new stuff. That being said this place is very well organized. The have one booth of just new Fiestaware. One whole booth of just Tupperware. One whole booth of crystals and chakra stones. One whole booth of lawn sculptures. A whole booth of just vintage and new board games. One whole booth devoted to Blenko glass. A huge booth that is all glass and crystal tableware and stemware. One booth of all handmade soaps. One whole booth was devoted to hinges and handles and stuff to restore your antique furniture. They have a huge building full of all sorts of furniture, some of it was antique and some of it was just used furniture. I can go on and on. I wish that I had taken some photos but unfortunately I did not take photos. My last comment is that while they do have bathrooms they are a bit out of date, I don't know how else to say it nicely. And the average person will spend enough time in this antique mall so that they will end up using the bathrooms. The staff that waited on us were very friendly and personable. I was here a few months ago and bought a few Benchmade knives from the dealer VT. Turns out they are FAKES, I called the shop and they told me to contact the dealer and so I did. He ended up going off on me for telling him they were fake, lost contact of him and so did the antique shop. I did end up getting my money back for them once I mailed them back to the shop... moral of the story DO NOT buy benchmade knives from here they are not advertised as fakes and they are selling them like the real things. I have contacted benchmade about the issue too because it is illegal to sell fakes. Visited on a Friday - the time for closing was clearly 6:00 pm. Beware - they begin making fairly rude announcements at 5:30 to bring your merchandise to the check out area immediately. Then, by 5:35, they turn all the lights off in the building. So, be prepared and realize that the actual closing time is 5:30! read more

Bear in mind that I am writing this review as a full time antiques dealer (48 years). My opinion does not apply to the casual shopper who goes thru antique malls as "entertainment". Over the years I bought some very good items here. For the past 4 years however, the ratio of "real" antiques to yard sale quality stuff has been steadily declining. There are now large amounts of what I consider "junk" and also LOTS of reproduction items. Most of the dealers I purchased from have moved out. On 5/22/2024 I spent close to 2 hours covering every single booth in this place and when done I was able to spend $12. I also found the staff at the check-out counter to be slightly surly and extremely unhelpful. So to actual antiques dealers I would suggest you spend your time elsewhere. There are a number of antiques shops and smaller malls in Virginia on Interstate 81 with legitimate merchandise. Bigger is not always better. The owners have clearly lowered their standards to keep this place full. I will definitely NOT be returning. read more

My mom has been raving about this place for over a year and trying to get me to come see it when I visit her in Staunton. Last weekend I was able to come spend several hours here and by no means saw close to everything. I bet after 3 hours inside I saw about two thirds of the inside and I'm sure you could come for several hours every weekend and not see everything as the items change and shift and are sold and replaced. It is gigantic. A sign outside boasts it is the largest antique mall in America and I wouldn't doubt that if it isn't, it's in the top few at least. There is a small cafe inside for drinks and snacks about mid-way through and large and spacious bathrooms. I saw literally anything and everything. They have board games and figurines, furniture, tools, lamps, glassware, clothing, decor, silver, jewelry, movies, hats, flags... I could go on and on. Read Closely- Warning, NOT Ethnic Friendly or Safe I really hate writing reviews such as this, however it is important for people to read about experiences such as this. I decided to drop by during a normal Thursday. I have heard so much about the size, collection, and good prices. As a true antique hunter and picker, needless to say I was very excited. The store itself was impressive in size and collection. However, the customer base and even some of the staff are VERY ethnically unfriendly. I encountered a interaction with a middle aged white male customer that was purely based on racism. He literally called me the 'N' word and told me I can't walk pass him in order to browse a booth. He blocked my path and aggressively told me "No, I am not welcomed here". I immediately removed myself from the situation, and politely told him "Have a goood day". When I reported the practically verbal assault and aggressive activity to a staff member to my shock she only laughed and stated "Hun, what do you want me to do about that". So please read this closely. Do not bring your family, do not patron this place and do not give them your money. This environment is NOT racially friendly nor safe. The confrontation could have ended in a physical alteration if I was not a mature black man that understand to turn the other cheek. Don't go there ! read more

This place is unbelievable. There are more booths than you can get to in a day. They have everything, even parts to old cars and hubcaps. China, crystal, glassware any thing to expand your dinner service. More cast iron pans than i have ever seen. Jewelry both collectibles and costume. More quilts and quilt tops plus old fabric. Some new items but mostly old. Books, toys, sporting goods. Even some Pat Buckley Moss prints. We were told about this place by some local ladies. At 135,000 square feet, this antique mall claims to be the largest in the U.S. I don't know if that's true, but it's certainly the largest I've ever visited. You'll find the same items that are common in any antique store - just a lot more of them. For example, you know those old (pre-electric) irons that were heated on the stove? Anywhere else, you might see one or two. There is a stall here that has...dozens! In my opinion, it's more about QUANTITY than QUALITY. If you collect kitchenware, there is a stall that has a very nice selection of vintage Pyrex and other brands, including some rare pieces. If looking for mid-century furniture/décor, you can skip this place because I don't recall seeing even one piece. If you walk fast like I do and don't stop much, you can walk the entire store in less than an hour. It's worth checking out if you live within a few hours' drive of Verona. read more

I have visited this Factory Antique Mall in the past and on Sunday 6 March I found a blacksmith tool I was interested in. I didn't have my pick up truck so I made a trip back to the mall on Friday the 11 of March, and tried calling them to see if they still had the tool. The experience wasnt great. Argued with the staff on the phone about the particular piece. Once I got to the store I saw it was still there and so a lady walked back with me and asked if the price was negotiable. She said 10 percent off. Great I said. We got to the counter and no it wasn't negotiable, another gal mentioned the tag wasn't the regular tag, I felt like they were suspicious that I switched the price tag. They tried to explain the non negotiable price, I felt they weren't happy with me and just went full price. No politeness, thank you , Come again, need help loading the 90 pound machine? I walked back in a explained much of this and that I would have spent more money in their store but didn't think I'll be returning for quite some time. One should approach Factory Antique Mall as a museum where everything is for sale. The sheer size is overwhelming at 90,000 square feet, and it is best to develop a game-plan on how to make sure you see everything. I recommend that you start at one end of the store, and work your way to the other side going up and down every single row. Even at a casual stroll without stopping to look at anything, this will take the better part of an hour. Although, it would be easy to spend a solid 2-3 hours in this place. The items you will come across vary - but the main focus is on antique tools, pre-1980 children's toys and games, knick-knacks, books, historical artifacts, glassware, estate-type jewelry, coins, and antique firearms and military related items. There is very little in the way of furniture. I want to be clear - this place is not a Flea Market. You will not find dirty boxes filled with broken stuff being sold for $1. It is incredibly clean and well lit. The items being sold are in good to excellent condition considering their age. As others have pointed out, the prices are generally very high at first glance. However, one must take into consideration the age, condition, and scarcity of an item when attaching a value to it. There are many museum-quality items on display. These items, of course, will have hefty price tags attached to them. Unlike a flea market, most of the vendors are not present. The vendors set up their booth, and when you would like to make a purchase you simply take the item up front to the register and they take care care of the transaction. Personally, I like this approach because you avoid people 'trying to make a sale." You are able to browse without a bunch of pushy people trying to close the deal. This place is awesome! Antiques and nostalgia are in great quantity here. It's very well organized, neat and clean. We found old lunch boxes, old nursing equipment, military memorabilia, toys from the 80's, China, dish ware and so much more. Really a must. Allow plenty of time to check it all out too. read more

Have loved this place for years and always end up with great finds and spend hundreds every time I visit. Unfortunately today's visit was a dud. First I had an employee tell me the lock was broken and he couldn't get into a case for two items I wanted to buy (another employee got me in within seconds). Second, I went to buy a container of Dats Candy but fortunately noticed a bug crawling around inside before I bought it. Third, a cashier carelessly ripped the price sticker off another item I bought when I was checking out, removing part of the surface of the item, ruining it. I noticed her doing a double take when she took the sticker off, but she didn't say anything and quickly bagged my items so I didn't find out til after I was long gone. It takes me hours to come out this far, and I will have to think long and hard before I decide if I want to make the trip back. read more

Ohio has many large antique malls, so after seeing advertisements I kinda thought this would be bigger. Don't get me wrong it is worth checking out because it is big, but I can't say it's much bigger then Heartland in Ohio. Very happy to see there was actually antiques. Clean isles and booths. I've been to this mall twice & it definitely has a lot of interesting things in it that are cool to look at but imo very little that I'd actually buy. I go to antique malls mostly for old action figures & the Toys in the Attic vendor had some awesome Spawn toys the first time, but this time there were mostly basic toys you can find anywhere these days. There are other vendors with some toys but once again they were basic run of the mill stuff. It is a MASSIVE mall & if you love antiques you will definitely enjoy this place. But if you're are like me and are looking for collector items then there isn't much reason to wander around looking for it. Which brings me to another issue I have, I really wish they would have a map with each vendor on it so we can easily find things that interest us in particular.
