    Couch and ottomans
    Valerie M.

It's a fun place to just go like a free tchotchke (small miscellaneous item) museum! It's a bit on the pricy side and you may be surprised at the cost of certain items but it is not a boring store! I found these couches there and although there was an issue with one, they are really nice and I am happy with them. I recommend triple checking any major purchases for flaws because their prices are non-negotiable. For $50 they delivered my couches, a standard rate for anywhere in the city (I'm about 4 miles away). The ones shown were $165 for each segment and then $85 for the ottoman.

The customer service was good once I found someone. I had to wait at the front for a while, as the entire staff was eating in the break room at the same time. Circa has a very wide selection of furniture and knickknacks, all in decent condition. A lot of the items are overpriced in my opinion, but you can definitely find a bargain if you look hard enough.

Woof. Do not sell your stuff here. You will get way better prices on FB market place or tag sales. BEWARE!

Although I looked over the dresser, opened the drawers, etc., I did not move all the lamps and many assorted knick knacks. I then paid for the dresser and made arrangements to pick it up the following day. When I returned to pick it up, there was a VERY LARGE split in the wood, ALL the way across the entire top of the dresser and way too wide to repair by any method. This major damage had been covered by the runner, the lamps and the knick knacks. So . . . Usually, normally, sellers will be transparent about damage, flaws, chips, cracks etc., and then it's up to the buyer to move forward with the purchase or not. Because the damage was so extensive, I did not think the dresser could be transported without breaking completely in two. Because the damage was hidden/concealed, I felt deceived. I pointed this out to the staff, who launched into their "no refunds" spiel before I could even finish my sentence. I was rather abruptly offered to the "opportunity" to leave the dresser (and my $400) behind if I no longer wanted it. Still, I extend Kudos to Twice Is Nice for serving seniors in need!! Thank you to the volunteers who offer their time. Thank you to the folks who donate. If an item is damaged, you don't have to attach flashing lights or a neon sign, but it's not "nice" to cover it up, then pile it high with multiple heavy items making the damage almost impossible to detect until too late to make an informed purchase decision.

It's an adorable shop run by an amazing group of incredible, caring people who put a great deal of time and effort into curating a welcoming environment for people from all walks of life. They are very selective about the items that they agree to consign, so shoppers have a ton of high-quality, in-style options to choose from. It's honestly dangerous to go in there because there is always something cute that I MUST have; however, if you have a clothing problem like I do, when you're not buying new, you can at least shop with a clean conscience! On the other end, the consignment process is simple, clear, and quick, and you are reasonably compensated when your items sell, especially if you opt for store credit payout. The dressing rooms are honestly my favorite part. When you walk in, you're greeted by hundreds of sticky notes with positive affirmations posted by other shoppers. It's like the positivity and immediate camaraderie you find in the womens' restroom at a club (but without all of the bottom-shelf liquor). Shop small, and shop secondhand!

The store was laid out very well and upon walking in you wouldn't have any idea it was a second hand store. They do stock some shirts and clothing etc that's not used, but all the major gear is. They also have lots of nifty stickers for sale to jazz up your car or water bottles. I was really impressed with the selection and quality of the gear they had and it was all at a price point I can get behind! I didn't make any purchases that day because we're about to move and the last thing I want is more stuff to pack, but as we have a baby boy there's a few gear additions we need to get for successful family outings, and so I'll definitely be back to high tor soon for those! Can't wait!
