This is a pretty standard Khols and not much different than the others. I do like it better than the one in Monrovia though as the customer service seems to be much better. Can't help but love the merchandise, from clothing to jewelry. The employees are cheerful and helpful. However very disappointed with the cleanliness of the dressing rooms. Floors have not been swept or mopped for several days dust bunnies are challenging to avoid when trying on clothing. The shopping carts could also use some attention as they were pretty dirty. Spoke to the manager on duty and she said she was sorry but the look on her face almost negated her words. I'm sure hoping they will improve the situation. read more

Don't bother to ask the workers for any help, they give you a snide eye as if you're bothering them with a question, excuse me you work there? Don't even bother because they won't help. The kiosk to order to ship to home for free is absolutely not user friendly, you can't apply "in store" coupons even though I asked beforehand and they said yes. When I wasn't able to apply I asked someone else and they said it's "in store only". And even read the coupon... and I clearly said "We are in store" so she had to clarify and said it only works on their registers... Talked down to me as if I'm dumb and don't understand the coupon? Clearly either the terms are incorrect or the workers need to understand how to do their job. This is my local Kohl's so I usually come to this one. Every time I come here their employees are rude and so SLOWWWWWW. I think they should really work on their customer service because they come off very rude and stuck up. Typically I LOVE Kohl's. I've been a long time credit card holder and visited the stores often. More recently they've put significantly more restrictions on their coupons. For example, I spent over $100 today on 7 various items (towels, workout clothing, and accessories) and had both a 15% off and a 20% coupon to put to use and although only one coupon could apply (which is fine and normal) both had so many restrictions that in the end I only saved $5.00 on my over $100 purchase (that didn't even cover tax). I was very disappointed. You go to Kohl's to get great deals on name brand items, but with all of those items being on the "no go" list I will have to start shopping elsewhere for good deals. read more

Kohl's is like Mervyn's, when Mervyn's was still in business. They sell anything and everything and you'll find something for every member of your family including the dogs. They have a great marketing strategy where they send out Kohl's cash and different percentage off coupons each month. So you go in ready to save 50% off on top of the clearance prices. But remember. It's strategy. Psychology. Their prices are most likely marked up high so they can afford to sell you something at X% off. And I'm okay with that. They have some cute dresses and good men's clothes. They have quality holiday towels for $1. They also kind of remind me of Marshall's or Ross. Their stuff isn't organized too well, and the aisles can be too narrow to push a cart through. Why, oh, why, oh, why? I just needed a freakin' brown jacket, dammit. I had some time to kill before picking up my 18-month old from daycare. Since the Kohl's in Glendora was on the way to his school, I thought I'd stop in to look for a brown jacket. Didn't matter what kind - leather, corduroy, thick, thin, whatever. Just BROWN. Yes, this store had all kinds of outerwear, but for some reason the ones I liked were either not in my size or the wrong color. The brown jackets I did find were either too big or too small. BOOO! Kohl's does have some cute items, but they have too much inventory which gives it more of an indoor swap meet atmosphere than the department store it's supposed to be. If you read my reviews, you know I ABHOR coupons, usually they are bait-and-switch. At Kohl's, however, the % -off coupon is good on EVERYTHING, including clearance items. This means, about 1-2 times a year, I go in there with my Kohl's cash (if I remember to save it) and a 30% coupon and go to town. The items I most like are: Towels Young Mens dept Bathing suits Candles, frames, small house decor items baby gifts Kitchen gadgets and dishes Underwear/Bras I am not a fan of the Vera Wang or other designer lines here. Uglier clothing and garish colors are hard to find anywhere else. My teen girls seemed to admire some of the newer lines in the Jrs department, but as a general rule they won't be caught dead in there. The Women's department is abhorrent and makes me depressed just thinking about it. Even my grandma wouldn't shop in there because, in her words, "it looks like Old-Lady stuff". Although the selection is not the greatest (and I am not a Kohl's shopper in general) the staff makes up for it. They are very helpful when approached and I truly appreciate this shopping experience. This store is clean and very conveniently located in a big shopping center. Deals are great if you find something you like. I went to return something and I was seriously there for nearly 2 hours and spoke to six (6) different people. They kept handing me off to a different person and to different managers. I noticed that they were even disrespectfully laughing a few different times among themselves (behind my back) about how they were keeping me there and making me wait. And then they went overboard when one guy said some cruel, disrespectful things to me about me returning the item. And all I was doing was returning a pair of shoes that did not work out for me. The shoes had minimal wear but were too tight for me so I wanted to see if they would accept the return even though they had slight wear. They did not accept the return because of the slight wear and that is fine. However, what was not fine was how extremely disrespectful they were to me. I just could not believe a large chain store like Kohl's would be so ugly and disrespectful to a regular paying customer who shops there often (but not anymore). I love shopping at Kohl's, especially when they send me their coupons in the mail and in my email box. I also converted my mom into a Kohl's shopper with her very own loyalty card and everything. This Kohl's is located in a plaza that is across the street from Home Depot and the parking lot is pretty big. But if you come here on the weekends, parking can be a challenge because you aren't going to be the only person who thinks it would be a good idea to shop here. Every time I visit this Kohl's location (I frequent the one in Monrovia more often since it's closer to my home), it is always really busy. The long lines at the registers really can deter someone from shopping here. Seems like this Kohl's has longer lines than the one in Monrovia sometimes. Either more people shop here or there was less registers open. This layout is pretty similar to the other Kohl's locations and the aisles are neat and free of junk on the floor most of the time. The free store WiFi is also pretty quick, which is nice so I can access my Kohl's app (told you I love shopping at Kohl's) for additional coupons and such and also able to pull up my own loyalty card so I can earn points on each of my transactions. read more

Andy is the most disrespectful, rude, nasty person I have ever encountered. He has totally ruined the kohl's experience for me... This is my favorite store, and the glendora location is my go to. Unfortunately I have to find a new store to shop. During my visit I politely asked Andy to direct me towards the Nike section only to be yelled at and called a fat motherfucker under his breath but not really under his breath. I have never felt so humiliated in my whole life. I don't appreciate to be mocked by a young child as a 35 woman in front of my children. I am really frustrated with this kohl's. Every time I go into this store I come out really irritated. They have two check out stations with 5 or 6 registers. Now wouldn't you think if the lines at both stations are so long they wind back down the main aisles into the store they would have most of the registers manned?? No ! Theirs a white cashier woman who took one look at and decided to judge me and gave me a hard time because she thought I looked so trashy that I must have stolen the Kohl's credit card I had in my hand... What a horrible experience. They claim 30% off for Veterans Day which was only true a very very select items in the store. By the time I went up with my purchase, I literally got 0% off of my purchase. There were no cart nor baskets to use. I'm a disabled vet with a toddler. I found this difficult. Attempted to exchange a defective jacket purchased on a Kohl's charge, and they refused because they "aren't able to scroll Kohl's charge card transactions" to locate the purchase. Love hate relationship with Kohl's. many of the clothes can be a bit low quality. They offer you these major discounts, but with the discounts is really what these thin, loose stitched clothing items are really worth. You are paying too much if you pay a normal price. It can be kinda messy, too cramped, and overwhelming when looking for clothes. But I love looking in the clearance section for the trendy costume jewelry. They have a nice selection of bracelets, earrings, and necklaces. sometimes I pay as little as a few dollars for something that was regular $30. Score! I have also purchased decent quality towels and bed sheets here and really cute pajamas from the clearance or half off sales. Only buy things when they are sale, if you have one of their monthly coupons, or if you have the Kohl's cash. Otherwise, you are overpaying. read more

This store gets only one star for me because the customer service system is very inefficient. I purchased a pair of shoes for my son and have already paid online. The reason to do that is to save my time. However when I came over, I realized that they had a long line for holiday return. And when I asked where I can pick up my online order, they told me that I had to wait in order with the returns. This doesn't make sense because I just have to show my ID and my item should be ready for picked up. The store made no effort to speed things up and maybe take my ID and check my order to just give me the item. I'm very upset. I love Kohls. This store can get a bit intense during they're frequent and amazing sales but the staff really keeps up with it. Sometiems the clothing racks can be messy when they have a good sale, but it's well worth it. I almost never have a problem finding what I need in my size, they have a good selection of merchandise on the floor and the staff is always happy to help. Check the mailers because the prices are typically a litlte high but when they have sales you're paying Target prices for Macy's quality of merchandise. I used to shop here for years, however I use a cane and have trouble standing for long periods of time. Every time you try to pay for purchases you end up standing in line 30 + minutes. I really don't understand why it takes so long to check someone out! Hadn't been there in several years, it was my grandsons birthday and he wanted some new shoes so we went to the glendora khols since it was about 7pm already, he found some shoes he liked, I also found a pair of shoes and some perfume all of the items were on shelves that said that particular brand was on sale, however they had a long list of styles that were on sale. We get to the register and low and behold not one item we were purchasing was apparently on the list of sales items, the perfume sale sign just had 39.99 and 49.99 for the 2 different sizes but no other information but was right under the exact 2 sizes I was looking at so you'd stand to reason it was for those 2 items, but no I was told that sign wasn't for that perfume it was the same story for everything. I ended up leaving what I wanted there. It's so confusing and I refuse to give my money so to a store that engages in shady practices. I've only been in here twice. Everyone was generally pleasant, store was clean. I didn't know what to expect since people hype this place up so much for the deals. The second occasion was for an online return. I was confused by their line system but someone helped me quickly. Returning was not a hassle and for that, I will continue to come back. The worst dot com experience. They're unable to resolve an issue regarding delivery to wrong the address. I called and tried updating my address 10-15 minutes after the order was placed online. I had to deal with customer service that spoke broken English from their overseas call center. This is a direct quote from their site, "We may be able to make the following changes within 30 minutes from when you placed your order: Cancel your order." I was not able to cancel my order, I couldn't update my shipping address with Kohl's, and I updated my shipping address with OnTrac as soon as I got the tracking number and they still screwed up. The payment was made using a Kohl's credit card. I can't do a chargeback, I didn't receive my order, and now I'm obligated to pay for this since it's tied to my credit report.
