Been awhile since I went to this one. Standard Kohl's selection, though arranged a bit side-to-side rather than front to back. In other words, the store is very wide. Very. And the stuff I was looking for, girl's clothes, is hidden in the back. A sign would be useful. Large selection of generally decent-priced items, mainly clothing. A household area and small toy area, plus snacks and trinkets up front. Friendly staff. I found what I needed, plus a few other things with Christmas coming up. Line moved quickly. Parking is weird right now because of construction next door. Be careful, and plan on walking a bit. read more

If you come here, expect to wait 45 minutes to checkout. It happens every.single.time. The folks at the front are very nice and do their best, but they have inadequate coverage always, and even with a line 5+ people deep they will plead with you 4 separate times if you want a Kohl's card - with no plan for backup coverage if someone happens to say yes. Today, one of the workers (Ray) just stared at us and laughed while a couple spent 20 minutes just trying to navigate the application while we all just stood there. read more

I was looking for a Sephora inside Kohl's to redeem a fragrance voucher but unfortunately this location did not have a Sephora inside. This Kohl's is very convenient and has a wide range of products from clothes, shoes, housewares and pet supplies. If you shop intelligently you can get deals as good as if not better than Amazon. Quality is decent relative to prices. Very pleasant and helpful sales associates. read more

Worst Customer Service Experience Ever. Seriously your employee in the back leaves a lot to be desired. Rude, sarcastic, condescending. I have absolutely no idea why he is in a customer facing job. That's said, every single other employee I interacted with was kind and helpful and respectful. But all it takes is one nasty person to make sure you don't return to a store. read more

In store is nice and they do what they can to help. It's seems they always have deals going on as well. As far as ONLINE SHOPPING goes, their process is not my favorite. The ease Amazon brings of modifying orders and the return process is so elite it makes it hard for others to compare. I placed an order for a set of PJs and not even 30 mins later (after i had decided to choose something else and place a bigger order), i could no longer cancel the IN-Store pickup order. Of course i had already been charged and can't proceed with cancelling this order until it is ready to be picked up in which case i can choose to return and then I'm sure this is also a company where the refunds take their time come back as well. I think Kohl's should work on this factor because even places like Target have more flexibility when placing online orders dealing with pickup. read more

Kohl's has added a really nice curbside pick up service. They have some reserved spots up front. You can place your order online and select curbside pick up during the check out (you can still also pick up inside the store, as well). When the order is ready, you receive an email (or multiples if you have several items and they come in separately) that comes with a link to tap when you arrive. You select that you're there and enter the space number, and someone runs out with your order. Keep the email handy - they confirm the number on there to the one they have on their slip and then pop the order in your car. I've used it several times, and they are always quick, efficient, and friendly, and it's very handy! If you've never been to this location, a general FYI is that it's hidden back off the road - pass the area where you see Roosters, Sonic, etc, and you'll find a huge parking lot and the store is back there. Needless to say, there is plentiful parking whether you're going in or picking up! read more

I haven't shopped in Kohl's in a long time. However, it's convenient to drop off Amazon packages. You don't have to have the bag or anything. You can just go in. Drop it off. They'll scan your return receipt that Amazon sends to you and leave the store. That's really the only reason why I use Kohl's but I don't shop there at all. The store did look clean. This store was not updated like a lot of the other calls but it was clean. You do have to go to the back to the customer service desk. At most other calls you go to a Amazon return desk read more

The store itself is very nice and always pretty clean. The people working there are very nice as well. The womens department leaves a lot to desire at least for me. The clothes are just not my style. I do shop here for my kids because the clothes fit my son especially well. He is tall and thin so the Jumping Bean brand is one of the few that fit him well. My daughter occasionally finds things here so likes. I do appreciate there prices on shoes especially kids shoes. You can usually find some on sale or at least get Kohls cash for it. My husband also likes some of the mens clothes. I find the clearance area to be super disorganized and a mess. It makes me not want to look through it at all. I appreciate the Amazon return service inside a lot though and the Kohls coupon you get with it. read more

Was returning an Amazon item, and they gave me a 25% off coupon for a single item for my trouble. They were having a 50% off sale on zeroXposur winter coats. I liked one (and January us coming), so I grabbed one. I ended up paying $45 for a $120 item. Shazam! "So what?," you say. The 'so what' is that the store was immaculate, every store associate was super friendly and helpful, and all merchandise was properly situated and priced...on the day after Christmas! Today was my first time at this Kohl's. I have to say, as we drove up my husband and I expected it to be pretty bad - the outside is very old looking, and the parking lot was fairly empty. However, we were amazed at the inside! It is spotlessly clean, organized, and fully stocked. We had to make a return which I swear took 30 seconds, it was so easy. The staff was friendly, but I mostly cannot get over how tidy and clean the store is. Usually this kind of store can get pretty messy, especially around and after the holidays, but this place is pristine! We both agreed that we will definitely be back. read more

Walked into the store, no employee acknowledgement. Pretty much rule one of customer service anywhere (or even just common courtesy), busy or not- make sure you welcome customers into the store. No one returns to a place where they aren't acknowledged in the least. The whole time I was in the store I was not acknowledged by a single staff member. The store was also chaos, funny because they were closed all day yesterday for 'Easter'. Which means that who ever closed the night before didn't straighten any of the clearance or sale racks. You can't push merchandise or secure sells if the racks are so tight and jumbled that they cannot be looked through. I saw no staff on the floor at all save two women in Jewelry who of course were talking to each other with no desire to interact with customers. Not even a 'Hello, is there anything you'd care to see in the case' or even a smile directed my way. I am a Kohls lover, and this store is literally five minutes form my house. This Kohls location is kind of a hidden gem and easily missed. Located to the east of Olentangy River Road, between Ackerman and North Broadway. It is tucked in behind Roosters, Sonic and the hotels. This location is not as busy as any of the other Kohls that I have been to. They are usually well staffed, and the people that work there seem to know their inventory and they know where to find things when they are on sale. I have often been approached by an employee when browesing and asked if i needed help finding anything. The store is generally clean and pretty well organized. They do a good job of keeping their sizes grouped together on the shelf and on the rack. I appreciate that. I think the regular Kohls prices are a little on the high side but they have really good sales and their loyalty program is a good incentive to come back and keep shopping. While all I was looking for today was gloves, I was able to find a quality pair at a really good price. (I think they were 60% off) While I would not recommend every Kohl's location, I think the Olentangy River Road store is a great option for anyone in Clintonville, Grandview, Upper Arlington, or the University District. read more

Very poor customer service while doing a return Sam Refused to do my return got mad when I asked she should get help from the manger. The lines are Always long. The store manager needs to be replaced she didn't do much when I told her employee rolled her eyes and has bad customer service. Ive spend lots of money at khols if I'm not treated well I don't need to be giving money. This is a huge Kohl's store that is very well-organized. I have no problem finding clothing in my size, which can be a challenge at some other locations. Even the clearance section was pretty tidy. I enjoy coming to this location because it is not as hectic as some of the the other locations. I can shop without feeling pressured to hurry up because they are busy or there are just too many people in the store. It is usually the least crowded of the locations. Kohl's as an organization is great because of all the discounts and Kohl's cash they give out. The products are good quality and I have always had great service. read more

This has got to be one of the worst Kohls ever. I can't imagine Kohls would be in business if they all looked like this one. That being said this is my favorite Kohls to shop at because it small, close, and dead. The bathrooms are always smelly, unclean, and disgusting. Always. The line for returns is always long, and the workers are always elderly slow ladies. Sorry, I worked retail for 10 years, it is true. The fitting rooms are usually a disaster and the floor has never been organized in it's life. When I worked retail my favorite thing was to organize the racks and put away all clothes the did not belong there. That is apparently no one's favorite thing here, including the managers. Sometimes I pick up something, like a picture frame, and set it down backwards. I come back a week later, and it is exactly how I left it. Kohls is dependable like that. Once I found a stinkbug chilling on the clothing. I alerted a worker, who said she would take care of it. I shopped for a half an hour, and came back. The bug was still chill in' there. This Kohl's location is not as obvious as other sister stores. It is back off of the road behind other buildings. There are signs available, but you have to be sure you don't miss them for the turn off the Olentangy. Usually when I am visiting this store location, it is because I cannot find what I am looking for at another location. This one is usually not as busy as some other locations can be as well. This Kohl's sells all the same merchandise as its other locations; clothing, housewares, toys, jewelry, shoes, etc. Same price as well. There staffing seems to be less as the store relies more on those electronic barcode readers to help verify pricing or searching for products. They definitely have fewer check-out lanes, but that has never been a problem when I have visited this location. The merchandise was literally everywhere which made me reflect that either this stores patrons are really rude and careless when shopping or other stores have a much larger crew who continually are straightening up the stock. Regardless, it did have an affect on whether I even bothered to look at their available merchandise in the area. Like other Kohl's stores, their prices are full prices. Kohl's frequently offers sales and discounts. I avoid paying their full price and usually even opt to wait for the 30% off coupons not because I like a sale, but for more reasonably priced merchandise. read more

Didn't have the greatest experience here today. Full-price billfolds were buy one, get one 50% off. Kohl's always allows you to buy one at 25% off (I've been a customer for at least 15 years) which is the exact same discount. When my cashier asked "A.J." to approve the discount, he/she said no. This was in addition to the other 8 shirts I bought today. So instead of selling one full-price $30 billfold at 25% off, Kohl's sold $0 worth of billfolds. First, let me start off by saying that I like Kohl's and I think they have good prices and great sales. However, this Kohl's is the pits! Its conveniently located where there aren't any other department stores. However, the place is always a horrible mess. Every time I've been, most recently Labor Day weekend, its been horribly messy. I know labor day weekend is right after back to school and a bug sale weekend, but this place is consistently horribly messy making it very hard to find items and different sizes. There dressing rooms are also always a mess, over flowing with things that need returned. Summary: convenient and good prices, but how messy it can be outweighs that. read more

Wait, how does Kohl's not have any reviews? I thought I'd reviewed this location before, but apparently I haven't. I rarely buy clothes full-price or new -- thrifting and DFW are my go-to shopping sprees -- but I needed some socks and underwear, which are the exception to the rule. And anytime I go into a mass market department store, this little clip from the Doctor Who episode, "Planet of the Ood," plays in my head: "Donna: A great big empire, built on slavery. The Doctor: It's not so different from your time. Donna: Oi! I haven't got slaves! The Doctor: Who d'you think made your clothes?" Guilty conscience aside, I found myself browsing the clearance racks (the first place I look in almost any store). Kohl's almost always has 60-80% discount racks, which means you can get t-shirts for $4, jeans for $8-12, blouses for $6, and so forth if you are willing to invest some time into searching. As a slim and short petite, I rarely find professional clothing that fits, even in the petite section. However, their juniors section is decent for casual clothing like jeans and t-shirts. And today in clearance, I found sweater tights for $3.40. I also found the socks that I was looking for, though I think they would've been cheaper at Target. So, not the worst place to get inexpensive clothing, but I always feel slightly uncomfortable shopping and contributing to a demand for a place where the tags on the clothing read "made in Nicaragua" or "made in Jordan." read more

The way this stores sits back on the lot you can't tell if it's open or closed. Since the one on Morse Rd closed, I've been without a Kohl's nearby. First off, the location is kind of odd, you'll drive right past it on olentangy if you're not careful. With the ethical dilemmas aside from the other review, I found that the selection, at least in men's items, was lacking here. That's not a surprise, as most department stores are geared towards the money spenders (women, and people buying housewares for wedding registries). Place is a ghost town though, don't count on getting any assistance while you're walking around. At least that means there's no problems with parking or long lines at checkout though? read more

I was here on 621/15. I had a return, and while I was there the woman at the counter offered to let me check out since there wasn't anyone behind me. To be fair, I did have a larger order, but the check out process is quick. I appreciated her letting me do that at her counter. When I was leaving I noticed how long all of the check out lines were (last day of their sale) and I silently thanked that woman to myself again. All of the staff I have ever interacted with at this store have always been friendly and helpful. Retail is tough to work in, it's nice to see people who don't hate their jobs. had security tag left on merchandise, it did not buzz. I was told I could come in and get it taken off. I live across town. after I mentioned that I should get something for my trouble she said she could do something, but not what she would do. not worth my time an gas. now I have to drive to a little closer one an use my gas an time. little help in store 1 person working checkout. she called for help but no one came for a long time. would not like to go there again........oh, the cashier was nice. read more
