Great food and bar. Quirky furnishings and an imaginative menu. Really a well Run place, they'll make sure you are happy. Live music on some nights, check to see the line up. read more

10/5 stars!! This place rocks!! Cassie, Brandon and Corey are awesome so is the rest of the staff! Come once a year from San Diego and this place always makes me feel at home! Can't recommend this place enough! The food was top notch and the bar ambiance and decor is unmatched! The best dive bar around! read more

We just had dinner here and I am so pleased! On the surface, it's kind of like any old pub. Like a Tanners or something. But every person who worked there was extremely kind and accommodating and seemed happy to be there. The food was also exactly what I wanted. Bar food, but really high quality. Would go again! read more

Always amazing food and a fun environment. A hidden treasure in West Shawnee. Highly recommended

We love knubs pub. The staff is amazing and we have never ever had bad service here. We love the chicken and beef nachos and don't forget a sweet heat martini. One of the owners Cory always comes around to check on everything. It's always a happening place so get there early. read more

Great atmosphere. try the chicken knife and fork nachos. Amazing. One of my favorite places.

Very nice atmosphere with good chicken wings (worth the wait) and one of the best caesar salads I've had!

Brisket burgers are on point. Delicious. Great food, great service, cool little joint. Amazing variety of beers on tap and cool atmosphere. Small place, but 100% worth it. read more

What a great place for the neighborhood. The owner and staff are so friendly and the food is excellent! I had the fish last night and it was delicious! The coleslaw was the best I've ever had. The chicken wings are to DIE for! Worth the wait and price. Love this place. read more

The food, was cool. Had some cornbread chz curds. Pretty cool. Then had a tater thingy. Was pretty cool. Our waitress came a gazillion times, like calm down. But, it made me drink more and spend more. Maybe she's onto something. There are upside down lamps and license plates. Super cool! read more

Great little neighborhood grill. They have a good tenderloin with some amazing pub fries. I love their take on hot wings! They are a must try. If you like pinball this is a for sure stop for you they have a row of machines that get changed out regularly. I've been known to stop in for their Wing and martinis Thursday special. They are great flavors of wings and drinks lol. read more

Great little pub!! Food is excellent! Staff is very friendly. Fun decor and who doesn't love a good pinball game?

We tried this restaurant as we were told they have delicious wings! They didn't disappoint! I rarely eat wings, but my husband is obsessed = he is always on the hunt for wings to try! They are baked which takes a while for your food to come out, but worth the wait. I ordered and ate them all! I got the bbq which were delicious, we also got the Buffalo and blackened magic. The blackened magic was full of a dry rub seasoning and my husband's favorite, the Buffalo was tasty but you won't be satisfied if you were craving traditional Buffalo wings. The fries were tasty too and I plan on trying a burger next time we go as it is mixed with brisket and comes from a local butcher. Go on Thursday as they have a deal for wings or else they are expensive wings. But I think they are worth it! The restaurant was eclectic and service was fine! I was too busy eating to get pictures! read more

Always a great spot with solid/consistent service and great food!! Menu does it all the right way!

Great bar for all. Children are able to watch tv during dinner and it makes life easier. I enjoy their beef nachos. I can never finish it!

I was pleasantly surprised by Knub's Pub. I went in expecting bland bar-food, but I was met with a tasty, fresh meal. Every Sunday, they have a scratch-made special, and today's special was the Chicken-Fried-Chicken. It was delicious. The chicken was moist and flavorful, and the batter on it was great, but it wasn't over-breaded. There was plenty of chicken, mashed potatoes (actual potatoes, not the kind out of the box, which was also a surprise), gravy, and roasted corn. It was a great meal for a great price. On top of the wonderful food, we also had a lovely waitress. She was so kind, and she did the perfect job of hosting us. Overall, I was extremely happy with my experience, and I will be back. read more

Cozy little pub with really good Chili cheese fries. Plus, a lot of tv's to view at your pleasure. Not to mention brewskies on tap.

Drove 30 minutes from NKC to see there pinball line up and grab some lunch. Got there an hour after Google says they open. We were greeted at the door with them saying they weren't going to open today due to a private party. Can't tell you how tired I am about retailer's treating people like this. read more

This place is so inconsistent. The food is good but sometimes they will tell you 35 minutes for takeout and it's really more like 55 minutes. Tonight I got the "large fries" with my order and opened the container to find what is pictured. Like I said, it's good food but the bartenders are always very rude and the service is inconsistent. read more

Knub's Pub - This is what the "large" fries for $5 the bartender talked me into getting looks like. - Pubs Near Me - Shawnee, Kansas

This was one of the first places we visited after moving to Shawnee. We immediately fell in love with it for the atmosphere and the amazing employees. We felt so welcome here. They have homecoming specials on Sunday. The Chicken Fried Steak was to die for, even though is was really a Chicken Fried Brisket burger. I'll take that over a normal chicken fried steak any day. The brisket burgers are the best I've found anywhere. The fish and chips are also excellent. I take off a star for the lack of variety on the Sunday meals. They seem to rotate the same items month after month. They used to always post the specials on Facebook, but haven't done it in the past couple of months (they started up again for this week). read more

If you live on Middle west side of KC... you gotta give them a try... read more

The owners are great and the food was awesome. Always fun to play pinball while you're waiting

Best Nachos ever!! Great service! Worth the drive and you get to play pinball! They do not skimp on alcohol in their cocktails.

Absolutely no complaints. Server wasn't fabulous and mix up in our order but I think she was new and not super confident. As for the order mixup it was very quickly corrected and many apologies. Everyone seems to work very well together and support one another so we received our drinks and food very quickly. Prices are outstanding in fact my husband looked at me and said you are a cheap date. With everyone else in the city raising their beer prices these prices are incredible. I saw no beer over six dollars and they offer flights. You would think you were at a brewery with as many options as they had for beer. Cocktails are all under seven dollars and they have a huge variety. Wine list was very impressive as well. Now for the food we stuck with the pub salad with honey mustard dressing there were huge chunks of salami on the salad and they were incredible. The homemade croutons were exactly as they should be not greasy perfectly crunchy and delicious. House made dressing was out of this world. I had a medium well burger with a side of their BBQ sauce. I all but licked the sauce container clean. Burger was just like the backyard grill. Bun was fresh and held it all together. Tomatoes were very fresh as was onion. Fries house cut and great but could've been fried a tad longer. However personal preference. Husband had stovepipe burger. Highly recommend. Coleslaw, onion rings and bacon. Holy heaven best invention ever. Cole slaw was some of the best. Onion ring was thick and awesome. Love Knubs!! read more

Dive bar with a great burger. Makes for a great date night. Booths with TVs or a game pinball machines for some before or after dinner entertainment. They have a large drink menu with wine cocktails and several brews on tap. They make there burgers with local meat so they are juiced with great flavor. It is a sports bar atmosphere but definitely kid friendly. There is a twist on each of the menu items so don't thinks it's just boring old bar food it's fresh and made to order. The upgrade for onion rings is worth it they give a side of spicy ketchup to kick them up even ! Servings are large so if you are a light eater sharing is a good option. The appetizers and happy hour choices are large enough for a meal. This is a must go to little dive bar. read more

This place is a gem and the people of Shawnee are lucky to have a pub of this magnitude. So now that the extra stuff is out the way. The drinks were good and food was amazing and the vibe was cool . A friend and I stopped in on a late Wed night at 12. The kitchen was closed but they went out of their way to prepare us some food and fill us with top shelf spirits. The customer service was great and welcoming which is always the most important thing about going out. If I'm ever near I'm definitely coming back. I enjoyed myself read more

Knubs is our local "cheers". Wonderful staff and we typically will run into a neighbor here. The nachos and burgers are amazing! Cassie (our favorite bartender) makes the best drinks! The owner is always available and typically will mingle with the customers. Oh and not to forget the pinball!! A wall of pinball machines....how can you go wrong!? read more

Great bar food and apps. The service is always spot on and it is a pretty cool atmosphere to go to The homemade sauces are awesome and you can't go wrong with any of the apps. Nachos are gigantic with plenty of toppings. Always a stop when going by close to lunch or dinner. read more

Hands down best food & service for a family friendly casual dining spot in the area! The wings take a long time but are worth the wait. We get them with the blackened magic seasoning and then dip them in their super delicious buffalo sauce. I always get a burger there because it is the perfect size and always perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The only things I've tried there before that were less than outstanding were their onion rings and chili. Otherwise the ambience is top notch! The booths fit our family of 5 and have the TV screens to keep our family entertained and the pinball machines help with that too while the food is cooking. I think it can get pretty busy and have more of a bar-like vibe as the night goes on so it may be best to go early with families. read more

Wow! This place gets it! Its the best all around restaurant I've been to in years. I was pleasantly surprised to find an amazing beer and whiskey offering. Knub's Pub - Blantons, eagle rare, black maple hills and buffalo trace - Pubs Near Me - Shawnee, Kansas

Popped in after experiencing Lake Lenexa and was so impressed. Looks like nothing in a basic strip mall. Once you step in, it's a whole different vibe. Lamps hanging all around, pinball machines lined up against the wall, banners, tees galore. Super fun and cozy feel to it. Service was impeccable. We took her suggestion and ordered the wings - 20 minutes but SO worth the wait, utterly amazing. We also ordered salad and sandwiches, which were both fabulous. Really enjoyed the place and I can't wait to get back there. I wish I actually lived closer :( read more

Awesome local pub. Food is great, solid beer selection, well made drinks and a super friendly staff. Great patio for when the weather is nice. They even have pinball machines. read more

Took my Dad in to this restaurant while he was in town and we ordered drinks, apps, and dinner. The drinks were so bad neither of us could drink them. We told the server that we couldn't drink them, so they just let them sit on our table until we finished our meals and also included them in our bill. Never been back. Would not recommend. read more

My Reuben was wonderful! The shredded, lean pastrami was very tasty and it wasn't too heavy on the sauerkraut and thousand island. . My wife got the chicken strips and said they were great, too. Their pub fries also were exceptional. read more

I truly don't understand how a place with service this bad can stay open. It's not an isolated incident, I have tried multiple times to give this place a chance. The old brunette bartender is the most unfriendly person I have ever seen in the service industry. Most of the time she straight up ignores even at an almost empty bar. No more tries for me, I will just go down the street to other place or tanners or nick and Jake's, really anywhere where you aren't made to fell like dirt for stepping in the door. read more

Arrived at 5:15 on a Friday with a group of 11. Told them it was fine to split us into groups of 6/5, given a wait time of 15 minutes. Finally seated AN HOUR later after watching them continue to seat others ahead of us. Even tried to talk to the manager about it to no avail. When we were finally seated had to share a table with an unrelated party and eat quickly since the entertainment would be there soon and needed our spot. Attempted to reach out to the owners twice, once on FB and once via their posted email - no response. Liked the food, but based on the service haven't and will not go back. read more

Their shroom attack burger is phenomenal! Also enjoyed the jalapeño poppers and sweet potato fries!

Great pinball machines! A mix of new and old with some rotation over time. The specialty burgers are good.

Great friendly service and really good food. The nachos are wonderful and gluten free!
