    Love Me Tenders

Small, charming pub with a patio tables and pinball machines serves delicious food and drinks! Julie was amazing & took care of a table of 6. We ended up spending around a couple of hours here. I ordered 'Love me tenders' which came with a side & a sauce. Tenders were amazing and served hot & i destroyed it in less than 10 minutes. House slaw (side) could've been better. Others loved their beer options they tried too. Plenty of parking available outside!

If you are looking for a place to watch the game this is a great place. Every booth has its own tv so you can tune into your game. Interior decor is eclectic and fun. I love the inverted lamps on the ceiling. A broad menu with burgers, salads , Sammie's, and more. Servers are friendly and fast.

An eclectic spot with a scratch kitchen, pinball machines, and TVs in every booth which make watching ANYTHING you want during your meal a reality!! I ordered the burger and house salad-- the burger had great flavor, but was served almost medium rare. I should've told our server my burger preference, it just hadn't been a question she asked, so I didn't think of it! Be better than me- if you have a preference, be sure to mention it :) House ranch was fantastic- loved my side salad. We also had the grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries-- I think they're double dipped and that was a fun touch!!

A fun little neighborhood spot. TVs are everywhere. Even in the booths! They serve standard sports bar food - burgers, sandwiches, tenders, nachos and more. You can wash it all down with a delicious adult beverage from the fully stocked bar. Please plan accordingly because it can get crowded during peak times. Loud, too.

This is our second time dining here and the place still amazes me with their decor that blends nicely together. We had the Sample Platter for appetizer. For my entree, I had the Sea N Spud with sweet potato fries. Chris had the Chili Cheese Burger with Onion Rings and Rhi had the Brother Burger. Our food came hot and fresh and everyone was happy with their meal. Our server was very attentive. She checked on us every few minutes.

Waiting for a play at Mill Valley HS we decided to have dinner at Knub's Pub. This is a sports and pinball bar and decorated as one might expect. The menu is respectable and the service by Kaleigh was excellent start to finish. I opted for the Big Pub salad and added blackened chicken with the Apple Cider Vinaigrette. It wasn't particularly large but very good. We were a party of three and one meal consisted of a burger - I don't know which one- and onion rings. The other person had the same salad as I did sans blackened chicken. She also had onion rings and it all looked great. Like most sports bars the environment was on the loud side. I'm sure that Cinco de Mayo played into that. We really enjoyed Knub's Pub although I wouldn't drive the 30+ miles we did just to eat there. That said, if you're in the area and looking for a place to chill and enjoy some good food, this is your huckleberry.

Was introduced to the amazing Knub's Pub by a friend recently. Let's just say this... if you are looking for great quality bar food, amazing service, and a supper rad 80's/90's vibe, pinball machines included, look no further! We had the wings and appetizer sampler!

This is a very popular local spot. People become regulars quickly. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The decor is a standout. Notice the lamps hanging upside down from the ceiling. The walls showcase license plates. I donated my old California plate, and got to choose its spot. I smile and tap it every time I see it.

We googled for good wings in Johnson county. Knubs came up at the top. So we decided to give it a go and it did not disappoint. Every thing is home made and locally sourced. The wings were smoky and crispy. There are many other things on the menu we want to try so we will be back. Our bartenders personality was top notch - made us feel at home instantly. I'm only sad we don't live closer!

Really cool decor right when you walk in! We were immediately seated and got our drink order taken. I'm not a bone in wing girl (which is what I've heard is amazing) and so I just went with the chicken tender basket with fries. Hubs got the wings and fries. The wings looked nice and baked and I got was "they're good" My chicken tenders were a little over cooked but crispy. Fries were undercooked which I was not impressed with. Service was good. Music selection was fun. Will I drive 25 min to come here again? Probably not but if I'm in the area - sure

Nachos with a bacon sub. Delicious!

Love their burgers; however, the food is better if you eat there rather than pickup to go. Fun atmosphere and interesting decor.

Scotch Eggs in Leawood?…read more Located in a suburban strip mall around 129th and State Line in Leawood, there is ample parking in the communal lot. Stepping inside the atmosphere is that of a real (modern) Irish pub, with a full bar and comfortable tables. An old wood and leather feel that sets the stage for authentic Irish fare. Having been to their restaurant in Westwood, I have to say that I like this location better - it just "feels" better. Being part of a group of about 20 for lunch, we were seated in a separate room which made socializing easy without bothering the other customers. After being welcomed by our waiter, menus passed out and drink orders taken, we were informed that their chef was from Dublan and that dishes were made fresh in-house. While I did see Scotch Eggs (I like to think of them as an Irish version of an Egg McMuffin) on the menu, I jumped on their Fish & Chips. The breaded North Atlantic Cod was moist and flakey at the same time, with a great flavor. Included was slaw, mushy peas, and their house cut fries (all very tasty). A dash of malt vinegar and a squeeze of lemon later and I was loving it all! Portions were all pretty large, so come hungry and expect to leave satisfied. Prices are well within expectations considering quality of service, food, and atmosphere. Having been a waiter "back in the day" I was impressed with the friendly and efficient service. Not once did I see anyone waiting overly long for drink refills or their meals. That is very comforting during these "post COVID" times of reopening and short staffing. Kudo's to all involved. It is nice to see a true Irish pub in the middle of Leawood. With this one and the one on Rainbow being about the same distance from my Lee's Summit home, expect to see me returning often. Next time I will try their Scotch Eggs!

Place is the bomb. Food is amazing, atmosphere is perfect and the service is the best.read more

By far and away my favorite southwest JoCo sports bar/food & drink spot. Sure, it's a bar & grille,…read morebut their kitchen churns out some really good food and specials are always creative and featured. You'll find it right across the street from 3&2 Baseball's west complex. If there is youth baseball in the nicer months, then you can bet that some of those sluggers will matriculate across the street in search of lunch or dinner with families in tow. And with good reason, because Callahan's offers something for just about every palate. I would suggest sampling their BBQ, of which the menu is not vast but what they do, they do really well. The K-7 Combo is one of my favorites, a brisket & sliced sausage sandwich with a house BBQ sauce (or even the K-10, which subs in pulled pork for the sausage). Really good entrée and pairs just right with some of their sides, like a house potato salad or smoked beans. The wing game is pretty strong here, featuring a sweet & spicy glaze called the Honey Badger. It's not too sweet and not too spicy and sits nicely atop their twice-done wings. A basket of wings (8) runs $13.50 and that's a fairly good meal without a side. The kids' menu has plenty of the usual suspects, but Callahan's also does thin crust pizza from scratch and knocks those out of the park. I'd suggest the Big 8, which is their version of a 'supreme', and that's enough for at least two people, or maybe one teenager. Local knowledge: if you just want a side, then I'd suggest their sweet potato fries. Cut in-house and super crispy, and a basket alone is a phenomenal choice. Service is always friendly and quick and check the specials on the board as you come in. There are TVs in almost every direction, because sportsball, and there is not a bad seat in the place. The patio faces west and is open in nicer weather, and the bar has plenty of seating if you just want a solo spot. Prices are totally on par with the area, and the food delivers a value that matches or outpaces the price. Easy access, friendly service, and great food!
