I don't typically write reviews, but I felt this particular interaction warranted an honest review…read moreof events. I am so hoping it was just a mistake, but unfortunately, I was shortchanged $142 when selling some personal family heirlooms at Paul's Coins in Holly Hill, and when considering the evidence (the receipts are attached for your review), sadly, it appears to have been deliberate. In the interest of being 100% honest, Paul and all of his staff are extremely likable. Especially Paul, who could charm a snake! So much so, I hardly noticed that his whole demeanor changed ever so briefly when he quickly and quietly ordered his young female staff member to fill out the receipt and "Just total it and write US Coins" to separate them from the watch, before turning back to me and switching back to his charming persona for deflection. It caught my attention because he went from jovial and friendly to purposeful, calculated, and acting with intent. He dropped the mask only momentarily, providing a glimpse into his real intention. I must admit, it was slick. I honestly didn't want to sell my father's 1959 Rolex (worth $2500 retail). I didn't even think a coin shop would be interested, but when Paul saw it in the box, he recognized the type and era, stating he has one similar to that and loves it. I explained that even though I desperately need the money, I had already turned down $1500, but Paul really liked it and said he would wear it personally, which made all the difference to me, so I agreed to $1750, only because I do need the cash at the moment. Look closely at the receipt I attached. It would have taken no time to itemize the receipt properly to reflect the watch's value at $1750 and the coins portion at $792. Actual agreed values were: Morgan Dollars $592 Silver $200 Rolex $1750 Total $2542 I am saddened to say, it seems obvious this was indeed intentional on Paul's part. Look at the receipt and ask, "Why in the world would Paul instruct the girl to write the receipt like that?" I understand this is Paul's business, and I also realize it is my fault for being lulled into trusting Paul and not paying attention. Paul completely covered himself legally. I even signed the receipt, so I realize that I have no legal recourse here. In effect, Paul essentially ripped me off, "Fair and square." Lol! However, after the realization hit, I felt somewhat betrayed and, with a sad heart, must point out that Paul's actions reflect an extremely low character and a dishonest spirit, especially when considering the circumstances. Unfortunately, that kind of sneaky dishonesty isn't something that goes away easily once it has been ingrained in someone's heart and casually practiced so nonchalantly. In light of my experiences locally, I would strongly advise NOT to do business with Paul's Coins. I am hoping he wouldn't treat his regulars this way, but if you do go there, I would advise being very careful and not letting your guard down. Double-check receipts and be sure everything is ITEMIZED, no matter how much you like Paul, or how long you have been a customer. Most reasonable people will agree that the receipts and evidence attached to this review is undeniable, damning, and prove intent. After my experiences with several local shops, my honest local recommendations would be Daytona Coins for coins, and Masterpiece Jewelers for gold. I won't be holding my breath, but if by some chance it was just a mistake and Paul wants to make it right, I would be more than happy to edit the review and refrain from posting my story along with the evidence on any other review sites or social media platforms. If not, oh well, that is life, and really, no hard feelings on my end either. We all know what it is like to get ripped off. It wasn't my first time, and most likely, won't be my last. Admittedly, this one hurts more because Paul ripped me off on my father's watch, which he had since the 1950s. At least now I can feel good about warning others so they may be able to benefit from my experiences. Stay safe, be vigilant, and God bless!

Let me start off by saying i have had the games 11 months and that the game broke 5 minutes after we put the broken cabinets together, They didn't want to replace a cabinet since it was just the top that was broken. The electromagnetic solenoid they use creates a very fine dust that covers the inside of the game, anybody who know arcade games know that very fine metal dust is not good when is it misted all over the main board and power supply. When the dust gets on the switching board it shorts out the TIP122 Transistor, I have replaced these so many times i had to make a socket so i didn't mess the board up any more from soldering on it. The top of the game is fiberglass and it has many cracks in it. I know when customers hit a game with a mallet you are going to have problems eventually but i had my last wack a mole for 25 years and i never had a cracked top, the only reason we bought the new ones is they looked amazing and we thought i would be nice to replace some old inventory. I have talked to the owner of the company at the last IAAPA show (BTW the wack a mole at the show was broken) and he didn't have much to say except "Sorry". The games are made over seas and the quality is garbage. the games they produce in Florida seem to be excellent quality and will last a long time. they have several games made in china now and i don't think this is the way for the company to go. They have lost a customer that was buying parts and games from them and that is gone. i will tell anyone i know to stay away from the Chinese games that Bobs Space Racers sells. They did call us and offer to replace the broken parts but they called and said they were not going to do that anymore.

The manager (a mean, hateful lady) came out and immediately started reading me the riot act. she said I could park in any other spot but that I had to move from the handicap spot (never mind the fact that I was also getting ready to go shop in her store). I asked her if I was breaking any law ...she said no, but that I was on private property. I told her that I guess she did t want my money because she - apparently - got bent out of shape over a parking spot. I get it that park I g is limited, but the lot - except for my car - as TOTALLY EMPTY. then she walked off yelling with the comment of "YOU PEOPLE!" what did she mean by that?!? disabled customers (which I am)? I am a permanently disabled vet! I was just wanting to get some souvenirs on our way out of Daytona to drive home to Virginia. I went I. the store and asked her to speak to the manager. she said that SHE was the manager!!! I asked to speak to her boss ... she told me her boss was the owner. I asked for contact info for the owner, and she said that she doesn't give that out. My point is - don't get bent out of shape over a parking spot for someone who is getting ready to do business in your store in like "minutes". And - especially if you are a manager - don't tell disabled folks with a handicap tag that they can park anywhere they want but just not in the handicap spot. The "you people" comment was crazy!! I guess this owner likes managers who run off paying customers (?) that's a GREAT way to run a business!! I asked the manager for the owners contact info, which she declined to provide. if the owner ever reads this review and wishes to reach out to me, I can be reached at gbowles815@yahoo.com. TOTALLY I professional manager at this store who drives off potential customers even after being told that we were getting ready to come in once my daughter finished up at the shop across the street!! I come to Daytona often, and I guarantee that I'll never spend another dime in this store!!!
