I have been privileged to purchase tractors from Gene an excellent salesman and customer advocate. Ever since I walked in the first time he told me what I needed to know! Not what he wanted me to know. The difference, when a salesman tells you what he wants you to know it's in his best interest. Not necessarily yours. That started my relationship with J5. Selling me what I needed. Then there is Craig,, over service and parts. He has been unbelievable!!! Even when parts have been hard to come by he has found a way!!! Don't get me started how he works with sales to make sure everything is just right! Nor how he has handled every warranty issue, plus an insurance claim as fast as humanly possible. Perhaps it's because of the people like Jerry and Shawn that he has working with him. Finally this post would not be complete without mentioning Andrew!! He just assisted me in buying three mowers this month. He stepped up like no one else I know!! So if you want a great deal on a mower go in and see Andrew and if you want a great deal on a tractor go see Gene. You will be in great hands!!! And thankfully this dealership is family owned not like the corporate box stores. Yesterday I went with my husband to look at the mowers thinking that I was window shopping. Decided to try to get financed just for kicks and giggles and was approved immediately and was shocked. The customer care there is awesome. They were very helpful. The process was quick but thorough. They were very, very helpful and I highly recommend them. Even if you think there's no chance you'll get financed, try it. You'll be surprised. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, outdoor equipment and staff. I knew exactly what I wanted when I went in and that's exactly what I got.

When we were lied to by Tracy (parts manager) about the parts being on "back order" -- BTW I personally called Graveley's corporate office and spoke with parts and they said that both parts were available and could be shipped out that day, I called back to Tracy and was referred to Dave. Dave said that their system might state "back order" on the parts even if they were actually in store. He took over the case and found that the parts were actually in store and had the mower repaired and returned to us within an additional seven days. We started it up and immediately had the same problem with it. We called Dave and he said that he would call us back. Having received no phone call, we drove it over to the Conroe location on August 28 (having to rent a truck as usual to do so) and when we arrived were told that the owner had decided that he didn't like our review on the internet and that they would no longer work on our mower. Classy. What a professional move. If you can't fix it, just decide to shuck off the problem to another company. Not a problem Dave. Not at all. Quite frankly it was too much trouble to deal with an unprofessional, lying, group of staff who wouldn't answer the phone (BTW they do have caller ID so if you become a "problem" don't be surprised if nobody answers :) !)

After 7 days I called and they informed me one of the parts was on back order but they had the part at their spendora location, and would take another 3-4 days to get it to the Conroe location. I was concerned that after 18 months my propane gauge still read 80%, even though the stand by Generac runs every Saturday at noon for five to seven minutes, and I use a propane stove top for cooking maybe two to three times a week. Everyone at Cunningham was polite and professional even though I badgered Ashley over numerous details with several E mails. I finally connected with Jennifer and scheduled two service calls at an agreeable date and time. 1. The first visit was to fill the tank and Ron took care of that nicely even though the tank only needed a very minimal fill. 2. The second visit was from Lewis who was going to replace the gauge face, but after a brief discussion he pointed out that my gauge was most likely just fine mainly because Ron could only get about one gallon into the tank. After that, I apologized extensively to both Ron and Lewis for wasting their time but both were very understanding and there was no charge for either visit and the gauge is apparently ok. I was also pleasantly surprised that Cunningham does HVAC work and not just propane. I have a firm loyalty to companies that can meet all of my needs and maintain a high standard of ethics, and Cunningham is exactly that company! ...I only wish they could service my stand by Generac as well. So, when a tree fell during the hurricane and ruined my existing grill, I was at quite a loss. I do have a gas range inside, but without power, my gas oven will not work. Plus, I like to use my grill for an oven, too. The week after Beryl moved through here, I went to Cunningham to get a replacement grill. Because they keep such great records, they knew exactly which grill I had installed just 2 years ago, and I'm so thankful they had a new one in stock. And, believe it or not, they came out and installed it that afternoon! Now I could really cook! And cook I do on that grill, which is a big made-in-the-USA model. Love it and love the service from Cunningham.

From what I witnessed, there was favoritism, unfair treatment, and a very hostile work environment toward employees of color. One employee in particular was constantly singled out, picked on, and threatened with write-ups over small things while others were treated differently. What made the situation even worse was how management handled a family death. An employee was grieving the loss of his father and was reportedly threatened with disciplinary action for arriving late on the day of the funeral. Later, he was fired for being 10 minutes late even after giving advance notice ahead of time. That shows a serious lack of compassion and respect for employees. There were also repeated racist remarks and language in the workplace that made the environment uncomfortable and unacceptable. No employee should have to deal with discrimination or hostility while simply trying to do their job. I hope corporate takes these concerns seriously and works to create a more respectful and fair workplace for everyone.

I have a Lone Star Grillz large IVS that I bought second hand about four months ago. To say that I…read morelove this thing is an understatement. Been using it almost every weekend--it holds temp like you wouldn't believe, and the huge capacity give you room for a huge cook--and tons of working space for smaller cooks. Mine is tricked out with about every option except the competition cart. 8" casters, side table, grab handles/towel racks on two sides, two large brass ball valves and one smaller one. I run it using an old BBQ Guru Cyber Q (though I'm jonesing for a Fireboard 2) and a Pit Bull fan. It uses about a pound of charcoal per hour, and the tuning plates are really helpful during long cooks. I've even called the folks at LSG with a couple of questions, and they were wonderfully helpful--kinda remarkable given that I bought used. Only complaint is the time it takes to get up to temp--usually an hour +. I strongly considered a Stumps or Assassin gravity fed smoker, but I'm *really* happy with the LSG. So much easier than the cheap-ass offsets I started with, and gets better results and is easier to clean than my old modded WSM 22".
