I've been a loyal Knockaround customer for years, and this experience is exactly why I'll continue to be one. When one of the screws on my custom sunglasses came loose and was lost after only a couple of months, I reached out hoping there might be a solution. Even though my custom pair wasn't eligible for a standard warranty replacement, the customer service team took the time to work with me and offered a one-time replacement from the Torrey Pines Collection. Companies are going to have policies, but what truly sets them apart is how they treat their customers when something falls outside those policies. Knockaround's team was friendly, responsive, and genuinely wanted to help. They made the process easy and left me feeling valued as a customer instead of just pointing me to the fine print. A special shoutout to Sarah for going above and beyond throughout this process. She was professional, kind, and made sure I felt taken care of from start to finish. Outstanding customer service like hers is becoming harder to find, and she deserves to be recognized for it. That level of customer service is the reason I'll continue buying my sunglasses from Knockaround and recommending them to friends and family. Thank you for standing behind your customers! read more

First time customer here. Made an online order that was confirmed on June 18. It's now July 8 and the last status update on shipping was from Oklahoma City USPS distribution center on July 1. Now it's July 8. No updates or delivery. While I know this is somewhat on USPS, Knockaround shouldn't use a shipping service this poor. At least ship them first class or something more reliablle. Now wondering if I will get the order before summer ends Do better for first time customers! read more

Remember when online orders delivered in San Diego County would only take a couple of days. Now this "San Diego" company is shipping out of Arizona and it's taking over a week to get items delivered to San Diego. Quality has stayed the same but prices have gone up... read more

I've been buying Knockaround sunglasses since 2017. When my eyes started getting bad last year, I bought prescription sunglasses from them as well. I've unfortunately had the frame crack on 2 pairs in the past year and they replaced them free of charge. Their customer service is honestly second to none. Gereme in specific is a rockstar. Gereme has handled all my issues flawlessly and it's a pleasure to work with them. Thanks for making glasses that fit my huge head and for having a great support team as well. Proud to support such a quality brand from my hometown of SD. read more

I've bought about 10 pairs of sunglasses and never had an issue, until recently. I placed an order got an email that my order was shipped with no tracking info in the email and the link provided lead to the web site and an error message displayed. I've tried calling and the recording says that my call is important to them only for 1 min later another recording says to email my issue and the call ended. I've emailed them to get a tracking number and have gotten a response in 3 days. Again big fan of their sunglasses and prices but the customer service needs to be upgraded. read more

My second pair of sunglasses from this outstanding company! My first pair got broken (by no fault of my own or the company's) but when I chatted with them via Facebook they graciously sent me a pair to replace my favorite ones! I told them I will never buy another company's sunglasses again and that they have a #1 fan for life! Check out their awesome website, you can even design your own! read more

I've ordered sunglasses for myself and as gifts several times, and their products are great and reasonably priced! I had some questions about their reward program and Gereme was terrific on the customer service side! I will definitely buy from this company again and recommend them to friends and family. read more

Soooooo I've ordered more Knocks. The whole family got them for Christmas (umm Santa May have got me a pair or two also). I picked some out according to what I thought they'd dig AND they all got blue blocking glasses. They love them!! And have asked for extra pair for their office (those that are working outside of home). Which I already had, cuz I stocked up during the sale. So give them your email address, so you know when all the things you want are on sale :) I was a Christmas hero. Thanks again!! Some of the best customer service I've ever had! After reaching out to them regarding a malfunction I had with my 'Fastlane' models, they corrected the issue promptly. Can't say enough good things about this company! Fashion and function ;) read more

Hands down the best sunglasses I've ever purchased. Not only are they the coolest looking and most comfortable, but they are strong enough to last. This is the brand you want to go with when you're looking for the next big thing! Knockaround rocks! read more

I have to admit, I'm a sunglasses kinda guy. I love my Oakleys and my Ray-Bans, but after losing a couple of pairs over the years, I've become leery of losing them (especially after how much they cost). Then, I heard about Knockaround after reading about them in our local paper (http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/2016/jul/04/the-futures-so-bright-he-made-his-own-shades/)... Intrigued by the idea of building my own pair of custom shades, I decided to give them a shot; for $30 I went with a pair of their Fort Knocks with Candy Blue arms, a Frosted Grey front, and Green Moonshine lenses. Not only did they arrive in the mail in a couple of days after ordering (and with a cleaning pouch and sticker in the packaging, at that), they fit very well and comfortably! Now that's fast service! Stylish and affordable (with prices ranging from $10-$30) - and with the limited edition frames that come out monthly - Knockaround is a great local company that has a great product. If you're looking for a nice pair of sunglasses that won't break the bank, give them a shot! read more

I had an issue with a pair of shades. Frank has some awesome customer service and helped me out. I've placed multiple orders with this company and I'd definitely recommend them. read more

Wanted to thank Frank again for being so helpful! These glasses are superior quality! I am a pretty active guy, but no worries when it comes to the durability of these glasses. They are well put together and withstand some of the harshest conditions. I was in contact with the staff and they return messages so fast, just like they shipping. Considering we are all suffering from the Covid outbreak, they were still able to get my purchases to me sooner than later. Great glasses! Great personal service! Excellent experiences over and over again! Thank you guys!! read more

I bought a couple of sunglasses and I will be buying more! The ones in the picture are custom Premiums. My other ones are Fort Knocks in matte black, gunmetal hardware and green moonstone lenses. I did the lens test and they are polarized and they are of good quality. Very happy and I like the fact that I'm supporting local San Diego business!! Thanks Knockaround. read more

After getting an email offer for a knock box I ordered as I needed some new sunglasses. After 8 days and the order did not ship I had to send multiple emails and all they did was cancel my order and refund me. This is just bad business as there was no explanation or offer to make this right. You have now lost me as a customer and will no longer get my unsolicited support when friends and family ask about sunglasses. I was contacted by Frank who let me know my business did matter to them and they wanted to make things right. I do appreciate the follow through and will enjoy the knock box they send me. Thanks! read more

I've bought a pair or two online from these guys before and the delivery is always fast being their local here in San Diego. I was contemplating on buying a new pair because I lost my other pair. I looked up the address and drove to their warehouse. Technically, I don't think they sell to people who come knocking at the door, but a guy by the name of Keegan was super cool and let me go downstairs where all the product is and let me pick out a pair, and pay for them right there. Really appreciated that. I'll continue to be a customer as well. Knockaround rocks read more

TERRIBLE NON-RESPONSIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I placed an order for $170 of Knockarounds. I had one pair (that I purchased through Amazon) and I liked them. NINE days later they have not even been processed. I have written to them six times and left five voice messages over the last six days and I have not received any response. The problem is that they were supposed to be delivered to the place where I was staying for two weeks. I was told they would be mailed the next day after ordering them. Now I am no longer there and they will be delivered to whomever is renting the place next. read more

I've been a fan of this company for years. I own over a dozen pairs of knockarounds and have always been blown away by their customer service and quality of product. After my experience today, I knew I had to leave a review. I bought a pair of glasses in 2015 that I wore all the time. I recently scratched the lenses pretty badly. I emailed asking if they sold replacement lenses for their glasses. Instead of selling me lenses, they said that I could send the shades back, where they would fix them and send them back to me FOR FREE. I bought these glasses three years ago. Whatever warranty the glasses had expired years ago. In spite of that, this company continued to do right by me, the customer. Im a knockaround lifer read more

Had the worst experience. My package was left in "preshipping" for almost a week I made multiple attempts to contact customer service and it took several days to hear back. I informed them to cancel my order before it shipped since it was taking so long and I didn't hear back until after it finally shipped and per the representative could no longer be cancelled. I ordered weeks in advance to be able to take on my vacation and they will be arriving while I am already gone and so they will be of no use. Also, per the rep when returned I will be offered a "voucher" to make another purchase through them. No, I don't want to purchase again I want my money back. read more

Amazing customer service. Shout out to Frank who was awesome and extremely helpful. I've purchased a few times from Knockaround. My latest purchase was somehow lost in the mail. When I let them know I didn't receive my order, they immediately sent out a replacement set. Love their product and will keep on buying. Thanks for doing the right thing. Customer for life. The customer service for this company is second to none. The owners really do care about every customer. After getting two pairs of these, I liked the quality and style so much that I bought two more. I definitely would recommend buying glasses from this company. read more

Love my Knockaround Sunglasses but I'm having trouble with a pair I bought recently. I've written and called twice. They responded 3 days after I wrote them and asked me to send pictures of my issue. I did and now 4 days later no response. Left another voicemail and still nothing. Terrible customer support. Great sunglasses. read more

After reading many positive reviews, I decided to order a few pairs for my dad for Father's Day this past June. I must say, the quality is awesome and comparable to some of the more expensive brands out there. I bought my dad a few pairs of Ray Bans last year and they have both since bit the dust... we still have them laying around and my dad compared them to the Knocks... a few seconds later he threw the Ray Bans in the trash. Needless to say the quality of the polarized lenses appeared much clearer and he especially loves the fact that they're so affordable! My brother also liked them and compared them to the SPYs he just received for Father's Day. Ordered online, and received them very fast in a secured package. Great product. Will definitely order more. read more

Love your giveaways for the padres and I had to get me a few pairs for summer season, love supporting good local companies. Keep it up guys

After purchasing a few sunglasses between my spouse and I this last time I ordered the Mai Tais in candy pink. Received the turquoise. I e-mailed customer service and after a few e-mails back & forth & taking a photo along with the receipt that was sent to them per Frank Zendejas request. He emailed then asking for my order #. Jeez what horrible customer service!! You would think all he would have to do is look up my name. I felt I was doing his job! I still have not received what I had officially ordered. Referred many friends but as of now my warning to them will to beware if you receive the wrong order you will be stuck with it. For myself I will never order anything from them again! read more

I always use this brand. I had recently bought a pair of custom glasses. By mistake they sent me a pair just off my order. I emailed them and had a near instant response. They where very polite and I had no trouble getting the pair that I wanted. I will always give them 5 stars. If you need sunglasses that are durable and will stand the test of time. You have to look no further then this brand right here. From custom to polarized to patterns and shapes. They hold my vote every time. Best sunglasses you can get at an incredible low price. Awesome, awesome, awesome. read more
