I returned to Dr. David Shadrick and Dr Megan Gazda this past week and results were astonishing. I had immediate relief. The chiropractic care I received was incredibly effective providing 60% relief & inflammation in my neck, shoulders, arms & thoracic area within hours.I experienced relief & improvement of pain after another adjustment with Dr Gazda 2 days following. Next week I will see Dr John McCarthy & confident I will receive further Alignment & decrease of painful symptoms . I will return to regularity of treatments with all 3 Drs over each moth . It is imperative I do so as I have a complicated Neuro endocrine medical condition & to support my body -mind - spirit as a professional Dance & Pilates Coach . I don't think I ever could've gone a year and a half with the chronic condition & being without treatment by Davis SQ Chiropractors if I hadn't had a great foundation from the prior years of their care . What sets apart Davis Chiropractic is their commitment to preventive medicine and maintenance is exemplary. The general professional friendship I've developed with the 15 years of their expertise combined with warm welcoming atmosphere makes this TEAM unparalleled in the area. This includes the front desk, reception, and administration with Stephanie and Leslie. They're genuine ,efficient and caring . Davis Chiropractic accepts Medicare, which is a significant advantage. I've had opportunities to switch to more convenient locations, but I wouldn't trade the exceptional care & relationship. I can attest to the importance of regular care and maintaining my overall well-being .Davis Chiropractic's commitment to preventive medicine and maintenance is exemplary and I'm grateful for the expertise. If you're seeking top notch, care look no further, Dr David Shadrick . Dr Megan Gazda and Dr.John McCarthy's dedication to excellence combined with a compassionate, & professional approach makes them the best in the area. I was a loyal client here for many years and truly valued the professionalism and care I once…read moreexperienced. This place meant a lot to me. Over time, however, it felt like the management style, particularly at the ownership level, shifted. Communication became inconsistent, and situations that once would have been handled directly and professionally were not. This was not reflective of the front desk team. Many of the therapists I connected with moved on. My most recent experience simply was not the right fit. I did not feel fully heard, and the session felt more rushed than mindful. After the session, there was no follow up or check in at all, which has never happened in any of my previous experiences here. I was tired of bouncing around, so I gave it time to see if things might improve. In the end, she agreed it was not the right fit. What was most disappointing was how it was handled. It took several calls, emails, and texts from me to learn that my sessions had been canceled less than 24 hours before my next appointment. The front desk told me the owner was supposed to call me about the cancellations and to suggest an alternative therapist, but that call never happened, and there was no follow up afterward. There was also a brief moment that stood out. I had left more than 20 percent, though less than the week before because the experience felt different. When I shared that, it was suggested that the front desk might not have passed the full amount along. That surprised me, as the front desk team has always been consistently kind, professional, and trustworthy. I want to be clear that the front desk staff are excellent. They make scheduling seamless, communicate thoughtfully, and create a welcoming environment every time you walk in. I am writing this because I cared about this place. I used to genuinely look forward to coming here. Moving on feels like losing something familiar, almost like losing a friend. I would still welcome a one on one conversation with the owner, as I would have appreciated that before. I hope the practice finds its way back to what once made it so special.

Then it hurt to stand straight & I feared correct posture could never be restored. This is No way to spend my later years on the planet! Thankfully, Dr Doody created a 5-6 month plan for me (2x visits a week & a few simple exercises at home), & I followed the plan. I am beyond thrilled to say that today, I easily stand tall and enjoy walking 5-6 miles a day. If I don't keep up my simple warmup routine, my lower back may remind me with a twinge, & I will stop my walk & perform a few spot exercises that alleviate the pain & keep my body going - with joy! To me, this has been like a miracle, giving me my Freedom and Joy back. Kayla and the professionally-run office make it easy to "do the right thing" and be restored to health & vitality. What a Great Team!

I want to be clear that I only had good experiences with Dr. Puri. I found him to be professional,…read moreknowledgeable, and extremely helpful as a medical advocate when I tore my ACL and needed extra guidance. However, I have had 10+ years to think about my experiences with Dr. Kum, which made me increasingly uncomfortable as a young 20-something woman in his care. At first, I appreciated that he wasn't afraid to really "get in there" with low back/glute massages. A lot of chiropractors and even masseuses will avoid the glutes (perhaps for good reason). However, it did feel a bit strange that this was happening in only my underwear and a thin gown, so I started wearing gym shorts for more coverage. I even asked my male boss, who was also a patient, if he experienced these intensive glute massages, and he said yes, but always over his shorts. But then there started being inner thigh massages that felt unnecessarily intimate and when I asked if it was really necessary, Dr. Kum responded that all muscles are linked and that this would be helpful for my low back issues. I believe he then asked if I would like him to avoid that area, and I said yes. At that point, I started to feel really uncomfortable and decided to stop seeing Dr. Kum because it just felt unnecessarily intrusive and inappropriate. As far as his adjustments, I always found them to be weak and unsatisfactory- he would have to try several times and often times it wouldn't release at all. His focus seemed to be much more heavily on massage, but in a way that didn't feel entirely appropriate for a chiropractor (and was a vastly different approach from Dr. Puri). Again, I've had 10+ years to think about how he made me feel, and as a now 41 year old woman with two daughters, I can undoubtedly say that the way he made me feel was not ok.

I've moved around the country quite a bit, so I've seen close to a dozen different chiropractors…read moreover the years. I would not recommend Dr. Kum, and I'll explain why. This is the only chiropractor I've ever seen who requires patients to change into a hospital gown top for every appointment, including basic adjustments. And it's a tissue thin gown, mind you. As an, ahem, shapely young woman, I felt unnecessarily exposed. The few times I saw the other chiropractor at this practice, he looked at me like I'd sprouted an extra head when I asked if I should change into the usual gown. Dr. Kum also sees patients in a large private room with the door closed. At first I appreciated the extra privacy, but I quickly became uncomfortable when he would set me up with a hot pack, laying on my back, and then sit at his desk for long stretches at a time, facing me while I was laying on the table. His back adjustments were fine, but his neck adjustments were unpleasant. He would pull, it wouldn't give, he'd say "sorry," and then this would repeat for 5-10 rounds. It felt like he was merely tugging and yanking at my neck muscles, and I never got the relief I've known from neck adjustments from other chiropractors. The absolute worst part for me, and the reason for giving one star, is that he would make strange, borderline suggestive, comments, while doing my adjustments. I kept second-guessing myself, but when it kept happening, I finally had enough and never went back. I've never experienced anything like it in a doctor's office. :(
