My neighbors own this and this is another favorite of my wife's. This tends to be a women's type of place. Not that men cant eat here, its just that you will see TONS of the hot-to-trot Mormon moms in here all done up for the day with their Yukon Denali SUV parked out in the lot. The place is filled with crafts crap and all that stuff women love. For the guy, the paninis are good. So are the sandwhiches, but to me the paninis feel more masculine. The pastries are delish for sure and the selection is impressive. They stay open pretty late and although I find the food slightly over priced and repetitive feeling, the portions are large and half orders are offered. Again, this is truly a staple of Utah County eating. If you're not from here, you gotta eat it. read more

Kneaders has some of the best sandwiches in Utah. I frequent this place usually ordering the Classic Turkey. The turkey is not thin slices of turkey, but chunks of turkey(so good). They also have their own "special" kneaders sauce they put on the sandwich and this finishes it off. Their sandwiches are delicious. Kneaders has all you can eat french toast every morning which is also delicious. I could drink the syrup by itself and be satisfied, but to top it with two pieces of french toast, strawberries, and whipped cream. mmm mm. With that said I still usually order the turkey sandwich because it is so good! As far as desserts go, everything is good. I've tried most of the pastries and have not been disappointed. Kneaders is my favorite restaurant, BUT service has changed at this location. I have lived out of state for the last year and a half. I was excited to move back and have Kneaders as an option again. I have been back multiple times now, and 3 visits in a row something was charged wrong or completely forgotten. Waited in drive thru line for 20 minutes before talking to employee. Someone in line ahead was having issues ordering which I understand happens. I proceeded to order the soup and they were out which also is understandable but before I went to the store I tried to call 5 times to confirm they had the soup to no luck of anyone answering the phone. I was stuck in line by this time and had no where to go and was stuck another 10 minutes just waiting to get out. I recommend if the line is long to probably not visit that day. read more

If you are one of three adults in Utah County that has not yet been to Kneaders, than it is time to see what you are missing. The ingredients used here are fresh and high quality and the service is great. The Turkey Bacon Avocado on Focaccia is heaven in sandwich form. I have not found a better sandwich anywhere. After a long time between visits I decided to get yesterday's lunch at Kneaders, hoping to have a great sandwich. I went to the Provo location, going through the drive-thru as I had just come out of dialysis and was taking lunch home for me and my wife. I ordered two Roast Beef sandwiches, both of Asiago bread (a terrific bread!). For myself, I wanted Cheddar Cheese, Extra Onion, Dry (No Sauce--I don't personally care for their standard sauce and add Mayo at home.), Black Pepper with No Tomato (a dialysis diet restriction). My wife ordered her sandwich with Cheddar Cheese, Onion, Extra Sauce, Black Pepper and add Tomato. I also ordered two of their Éclairs. Once I got home and opened our lunches, it was quickly evident that the staff at Kneaders cannot translate an order. My Sandwich came with Swiss Cheese, a few onion slices, Tomato and no Black Pepper. The only thing they got right was the no sauce...thank goodness. My wife's sandwich came with Swiss Cheese, Extra Onion, almost no Sauce, No Tomato and no Black Pepper. Plus, the Éclairs we ordered were old and stale and we finished neither, meaning we basically wasted the money we spent for those. I don't know what it is about Kneaders. They could be fantastic. But such poor service is the direct result of management, whether local or corporate. It is obvious to me that the staff at this Kneaders just doesn't care about the product they push out. After all, how difficult is it to get an order right? My decades in the restaurant business have shown me that doing so is not hard at all. I guess---once again--that making a great product is not a priority to the folks at Kneaders. Time and again, that fact has become glaringly apparent. I seriously doubt that I'll give them another chance. Multiple similar experiences have taught me to never go there again. read more

I have eaten at the Kneaders in Orem, Provo (Riverwoods), and in Heber City. All of them had the same great service and scrumptious food. Breakfast: I've eaten the all-you-can-eat French Toast, pancakes, and each of their omelettes. Be prepared to have your taste buds titillated! The French Toast is by far my favorite. It is served with butter syrup, whipped cream and strawberries. The toast is a heavy-bread recipe that will fill you up! Lunch/Supper: I love the cranberry/croissant sandwich, and the roast beef ranch. The sandwiches come with your choice of breads. I also recommend any of the smoothies. They are the real thing! Kneaders also serves great salads. As you are waiting in line to order your meal, you will feast your eyes on all the lusciousness in the dessert case. If you want to treat yourself to something really great, try the raspberry cheesecake. This place is a great spot for family dining or a good date spot. The service is always exemplary! read more

I frequent this restaurant. I'm one of those who always gets the same thing every time I go, but this time I decided to change and get a different salad. They remodeled the restaurant in Pleasant Grove and it's wonderful. Plenty of room for seating, and the drive-through is very fast. I love all of their menu selections as I have taken many friends to this restaurant when they come visit. The deserts are to die for. I especially love the pumpkin bread. I will make an extra trip just to get some to take home. They make very yummy gift baskets as well... I have ordered them for family and friends on holidays. read more

They botch my order sometimes, so I knocked off a star, but come on. This place is solid food. Their sandwiches are killer (had one last time with artichoke hearts... damn Gina!) and the deserts and pastries are solid. They often have some type of raspberry bread pudding thing with simple syrup drizzle... wicked good. If you haven't tried this place, and you find yourself driving by, give it a try. Ordered catering a few months ago, been meaning to write a review ever since. When I placed the order, the manager took my list of orders, and without my asking for it, told me they'd label them with names (since the names were also on the list). On the day of the delivery, which was a few minutes late (no big deal), NONE of the boxes were labeled with names, as had been promised. Only about 2/3 even listed what sandwich was inside (meaning we had to open 1/3 of them to know what was inside). And of the 2/3 that were labeled, at least half were either illegible or mislabeled, meaning we had to open another 1/3, and several people ended up not getting what they wanted. It took a good 20-30 minutes to sort it all out, when it really should have taken about 5. Very disappointed. Would not recommend for catering. read more

The turkey and avocado sandwich is absolutely heaven. Not only is the portion gargantuan, but so are the flavors. I could easily go back weekly (if I lived in Utah) for more. Their pastries were excellent too, huge sized samples of their delicious raspberry bread. I don't know about the rest of the food, and unfortunately it will probably be awhile before I'm ever back (again I live not in Utah) but I wish I could return much sooner. read more

The only reason why you didn't get a 5, Kneaders, is because your "Turkey and Dumpling Soup" had no sign of dumplings. Yes, it was otherwise very tasty, and the generous helping of fresh bread with butter nearly made up for the oversight. But the dumplings would have been nice, too. When I first came to Utah everyone was all like you have to go to Kneaders and I didn't know what the big deal about his place was. Now I do. The sandwich I had here was AMAZING and the desserts, I tried the napoleon and the chocolate mousse dome. Both were incredibly delicious. I love kneaders! They have great bakery items and breads, and my mom used to always buy those as gifts during the holidays for neighbors. I really like their sandwiches and smoothies. I'd recommend the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado on Focaccia with a Morning Sunshine smoothie. Their panini's aren't bad, but they're all pre-made so depending on when you go they might not be as fresh as the regular sandwiches. Then again, it's pretty much always busy. My experience at the great establishment of Kneaders Bakery and Cafe was that of a peculiar tale. After relaying our order to the friendly cashier and handing him my gift card to pay for my greatly anticipated meal of a soup and sandwich, he proceeded to fondle with it like a confused toddler using a spoon for the first time. What was this kind of card? When he came to the realization that this gift card had bested his transaction abilities, he beckoned for the aid of his direct superior. Together they attempted to solve the mystery of the gift card transaction. After what felt like many moons, they proceeded to inform me that their system did not seem to be accepting gift cards at the moment and there was nothing they could do about it. I pleaded for them to try it one more time. With a prayer in my heart and my fingers crossed the cashier slid the card through the machine one last time. BING! Suddenly it worked. Hooray! I would get to bite into the fresh delicacy of a Turkey, Bacon, and Avocado sandwich after all. When the time came and my taste senses were perfectly primed, the sandwich lay right in front of my eyes. I regret to inform you of what happened next. I looked down and saw THIS! A brown avocado on my sandwich. I was heartbroken. That is my favorite part! Anyways, Kneaders is still pretty good and I'll probably be back next week. read more

This is the best Kneaders in town! Probably the only Kneaders where you'll be served on an actual plate (the black baskets aren't a big deal though, just thought I'd point out the plates if you never noticed). The iconic all you can eat French toast never gets old but I prefer to grab a breakfast sandwich with their freshly baked croissants. The soup, salad and sandwiches are all delicious. The Turkey bacon avocado sandwich is simply delicious! I was so surprised when I had my first sandwich because I was not expecting actual turkey breast. The french dip is so hearty and warming. I love the crustiness of the bread. You really can't go wrong. The pastries are a hit or miss. I like most of the pastries. The fruit tart has never been my favorite and I think the bread pudding is a little too sweet for my stomach but everything else is great. I love the carrot cake and seasonal cupcakes (raspberry lemon, chocolate mint, chocolate cherry cheese). The raspberry pie is by far my favorite desert. The crust is deliciously buttery with a mildly sweet cream filling, topped off with a raspberry filling. Deeelicious! Can't forget to mention that the staff members are all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Seriously, ask the cashier about any food and they give you the run down of whats in the food. read more

Yummy! I love their sandwiches and pastries! I just don't care for the staff. Every time I go there, they are super rude and they always seem like they are in a hurry! I will ask them questions about sandwiches or bars I haven't ordered before and they always seem super annoyed to answer. The inside of the restaurant is super super homey which I love. 10/20/2020: ordered some yummy French toast this morning because who doesn't love their breakfast! Had some complications go on with DoorDash with the first order being taken by a different dasher and then the order being canceled and never receiving the other order. I called Kneaders and they were more than happy to make the order again and I went in to speak to the Manager Lindsey (I hope that is the correct spelling of her name) and she told me I didn't need to pay for it but I insisted. Lindsey made sure I didn't pay for it hahaha she was so kind and the staff there is as so kind and wonderful! I love going to this restaurant just because of how genuinely kind they are!! Wow and YUM! This was our first visit to Kneaders so we weren't too sure what to expect. It looked like a sit down restaurant in many ways, but with the drive-thru, it was a little confusing. SO glad we stopped!! The French toast is amazing - and bottomless, so watch yourself or you could stay all day. Chai Latte was also spectacular. Visiting from out of town, I was doubly pleased to learn there is a Kneaders within minutes of my home in Las Vegas. I will most definitely be going back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a healthy and relatively inexpensive breakfast. read more

Pro's and Con's of Kneaders: Pro: They have great tasting pie and pastries, fantastic french toast, and a drive through. Cons: The staff is horribly trained and rude ( i once had a manager make fun of me to my face over something she thought she heard but misheard, and then when i said how rude it was she said that no one cared what i thought. i sent an email to their store about it, but never got a reply). Just mobile ordered from this location, went and picked it up, got back to work and realized that I paid $4.50 for the tiniest piece of cheesecake in the world (I've taken one small bite in the photo).
