The Turkey Bacon Avocado was good, but the French toast was cold and the portion of strawberries and cream was not enough for the amount of bread we got. We also felt rushed while ordering because as soon as we were done asking for our two entrees the worker taking our order instantly asked us to pay. We couldn't even ask for the slice of pumpkin cheesecake we wanted to order along with the entrees. We also observed one of the workers using the coffee machine incorrectly while steaming the milk. By the noise the machine was making, we could definitely tell he burnt the milk he was steaming. We used to really love this place and we have been going there for many years. However, lately our experience has been very disappointing. I went for breakfast and I ordered just a ham and cheese croissant. The croissant had been cut in half and toasted on a grill but tasted like oil that had gone bad. In addition, there was only one slice of ham and it was the cheap thin ham with a folded up Kraft single style piece of cheese. The ham and the cheese portion took up an area the size of a dollar bill that was folded in half, and yet the croissant was large. Definitely disappointing compared to which we used to get. Recently, I tried it again, just in case they were having an off day. This time through the drive-through. Their menu in the drive through has no pricing for any items. I was trying to be considerate because a friend was treating me, but had to just hope I wasn't ordering something too expensive. I had a few questions and the girl helping me acted impatient and I felt rushed. To be clear, there was nobody behind me, but they probably had things to do in the store however, if their menu was not so vague, people wouldn't have so many questions. Our food was to-go and I ordered a French dip sandwich. When I got home to eat it. There was no lid on the liquid and the whole thing was cold and very soggy. I understand that French dips you want to dip in liquid before you take a bite, but soaked so badly that the bread had gone to mush and it was cold was really disappointing. I ordered the barbecue chicken salad today for lunch around 3. Only three small pieces of chicken and barely any barbecue sauce. I also ordered the focaccia bread and a fruit tart. After 90 minutes, I am sick out of both ends with what is likely food poisoning. I am Miserable that my salad probably wasn't washed properly or the chicken was left out. Kneaders used to be one of my favorite places to eat but it has changed so much in recent years. Just went and bought dinner there last night, ordering two sandwiches. Asked for some extra mayo on both sandwiches and they charged 50 cents extra (per sandwich) for an extra swipe of mayo. Way too much, plus they didn't tell me upfront. The prices on the sandwiches have soared super high, sometimes double the amount I pay for sandwiches at places like Jersey Mikes, Subway or Jimmy John. To top it all off, the price for a simple pastry desert was near $4.50...outragious. In short I paid nearly just shy of $40 for a couple of sandwich dinners (with two deserts). P.S. for this trip only, the soup I got with the combo had a slight burnt taste to it. Their soups are usually good, but not on this visit. Would still eat there if prices were more reasonable, but I doubt they will be lowering their prices any time soon. Sadly, I don't plan on eating there anymore. read more

Sometimes you need to treat yourself to a mid-week Kneaders French Toast breakfast! I was super excited for this French toast but immediately disappointed after a few bites. It was cold and dry. I've had their French toast a million times and it's typically full of flavor and very moist. The two slices were significantly smaller than I remember them being as well...I'm not quite sure what happened with the Thursday morning batch but this isn't the typical Kneaders quality I'm used to. We've been to other locations that were great. But I'd avoid this one if you can! Chicken panini had cold chicken, I let them know and again it was cold. Also very little chicken almost only bread. We decided to try the ham & egg with cheese croissant. I am not a fan of how they cook their eggs they are just broke on the grill with out being mixed up . The white part of the egg is gross. They also melt the cheese inside the egg it is not a separate piece of cheese . The ham is very good it's Black Forest ham and the croissant is good . It a good size sandwich . Today I visited the South Jordan location because I was craving the cream of broccoli soup and white bread. I really love to dip the bread in the soup! So I ordered an extra slice of bread. The soup was slightly runny today which was a little bit disappointing but there's a ton of broccoli in it so I was OK with it. But the bread was dry. It must be day old bread. Or two day old bread. That was super disappointing. I couldn't even eat the crust. And the center of the bread I had to squish together before I dipped it so it tasted a little bit moist. It was OK but not great.
