There's something not quite right about this Kneaders location. Our delivery order was wrong last time (and nearly every time), so we decided to pick up this time. We ordered in the app and our order wasn't ready when we arrived. No biggie. Then she said they were out of one pastry we had ordered and to choose another; okay. Then she said they were out of the cookies we selected, but the app suggested those cookies as an add-on. Odd. Got a refund on those. Checked our order on the way out and the turkey sandwich had the correct ingredients, but very little turkey. I ordered two extra sides of turkey to go home and add on there. Also needed to add extra mayo at home, as there was barely any. Everyone was really nice and helpful, but I think maybe someone needs to show this location what Kneaders food should look (and taste) like. read more

I am used to the original Lindon location. I stopped in today at the Provo one after an OB appointment due to some serious pregnancy cravings. I specified no onions. (red onion allergy). The girl that took my order was nice enough. The Provo location is small but cute. But when I got my sandwich to-go (very quickly I will say), when I first bit into the first half of the sandwich, it was incredibly disappointing. No avocado at all, a small little slice of lettuce and tiny piece of tomato, and barely any sauce spread only in the middle. It was a veggie avocado. Thats all there is to it! I put that half of the sandwich off to the side and bit into the second half and immediately tasted onion. I panicked and spit it out and the whole sandwich went straight in the garbage. For heavens sake! You're paying $11 something for a sandwich with only vegetables on it and they can't get that right?! The fact that they either put onions on and ignored the instructions, or had onions on and took them off, shows a completely disregard for their customers safety and well being. The "famous" sandwich ..... was gross. No better word to describe it. Turkey tasted boiled and bland. My friend ordered a pesto sandwich which had no pesto on it. When we tried to return it they said "well it's cooked in pesto" and wouldn't refund. The bakery item I ordered was great, but they should really stick to baking. The restaurant itself was loud and messy, the water fountain looked uncleaned and there were no napkins. Wont be back, as this was not worth the $20 I paid. read more

No...Let me give you a little cookie or treat since you had to drive all the way back down here...no PR whatsoever! Slower than molasses in winter. Spent 10 min in line with only 1 customer on front of us. They are so focused on the drive thru they only serve the front customers every other time. Pathetic from top to bottom. And don't advertise "breakfast served all day" if you are going to limit the menu to 4 breakfast items and not serve the rest. I love that you can always count on Kneaders for a tasty consistent meal. This is one of my favorite places to get salads because they are so flavorful! My favorite salad is the chicken ala mondo. So many great flavors and textures going on. My husband got the rueben sandwich and it was surprisingly really tasty because that's usually not my favorite thing to order! We love that they give you a good size portion so there is often enough for another leftover meal at home. We were grateful that indoor dining was open again. It does seem like they need time to make the place cute again. The chilled section was broken so you couldn't see the pastries which was a bummer. They had them bit in another place in the back . And the bathroom wasn't my favorite. I get that it's an older building but they could try to make it a little bit more decorated since they have a lot of cute crafts in the restaurant. read more

I ordered the Turkey Avocado Sandwich, without anything in the bread. It came with the worst dried out turkey, loaded with some kind of mustard butter stuff on the bread and no avocado. I also order some of their Parmesan chips, and did not get those. I went through the drive up so didn't notice any of this until I got home. Also this isn't the first time this particular Kneaders has messed up an order for me. I'll drive the extra few minutes and go to the Riverwoods Kneader from now on. Kneaders is one of those restaurants that always reminds me of "ladies who lunch"...you know what I mean, it's a chick place. Not that there's anything wrong with that! The presentation of the food, the decor inside, all of it looks like something my mom and aunt would spend countless hours slaving over until they achieve perfection. Sadly, due to COVID, I have not had the opportunity to visit this Kneaders in person. But I did get to participate in a taste test of several cheesecakes from different bakeries, and that's how I landed here. In full disclaimer, I don't care for cheesecake-of any kind-so I invited six of my closest friends and family to help try them and give feedback. The cheesecake from Kneaders was a peanut butter variety. It had a beautiful chocolate and peanut butter chunk drizzle over the top of the nicely cut slices. The texture was smooth and creamy. One person in the group said it was like eating a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup-but better. Another in the group decided it was her favorite and couldn't get enough. I'm looking forward to visiting in the future-I'd like to try a few other menu items. Maybe I'll get a group of friends together for brunch! read more

We went to the one in Spanish Fork. What a waste of money and time!!! We waited 30 minutes for our food-which I had to go ask for multiple times. I can taste a hint of honey in the yummy wheat bread. -French toast- lighty buttered, grilled to perfection all over, still tender inside. Great flavored bread with hint of cinnamon. *Note- for the all you can eat French toast or pancakes, you must eat it inside. GIFT BASKETS- gorgeous array of bread, cookies, jam, honey, or other customization in huge basket. The ones that were out cost between $25-$30. See their website for options. Awesome gift idea! GIFTS- They offer very cute farmhouse style decor. SET-UP- It's very tight and busy, so go early. Lines can loooong! There are a few tables and some window seats inside. Because of Covid, we took ours to the outdoor tables. Personally, I'd prefer more seating inside to shelves of decor. The food is delicious and demand is high! This small family owned chain has tasty food and deserts, but has struggled to scale up the business for multiple locations. Most of the negative feedback is ultimately tied to that, as my first experience here had great service and a few items which were missing or not available. The locations are small and quaint, but they make good sandwiches and salads. This particular location didn't have caffeine free Diet Coke like others and it has limited tables, with a heavier drive through volume. They make bread and sandwiches very well, and the carrot cake is the most unique I've ever had. It's actually moist and has multiple layers. The food is clearly made with love. I still had a good visit despite the challenges. The sourdough bread is a signature item and tasty. I accidentally read feedback for other locations before finding the correct one I visited in Provo (which all Yelpers should do first generally) and have the following recommendations to make every location four plus stars: - Cleaner tables and more of them inside. - Cleaner soda machines with more choices, including CFDC. - Better website ordering. - Better order acknowledgement (use a monitor at drive through and counter) - Better supply chain management (out off too many things) - Better CS training for new employees, motivate them with profit sharing. - Resist further expansion until quality and supply chain consistent. - Setup a loyalty program to collect feedback. What many folks don't realize is that if they only had two locations every review would be 4 and 5 stars. They have most of the big things right including good food, but have scalability problems which are itself generating the same consistent negative feedback. I envision an overwhelmed family trying their hardest to run all the stores, but could be off mark. I could see In & Out and El Pollo Loco having similar problems when they first began really growing from a handful of stores. It's hard, so people should be fair and give them a chance. Even given some negatives, the food is always better than a fast food location and the bread is amazingly fluffy and wonderful, as are the deserts. I'm going to try something different and a different location next time I visit Utah, but I suspect the young people are all friendly as in this one. read more

I have always enjoyed the quality of fresh tasting food at this chain. The inside is always decorated with cute decor and tempting treats. However, this experience wasn't to par for me this time. I'm just not sure what was going on inside. There was an employee scooting her feet around on what looked like an apron? Not sure why, but it was pretty odd and makes me think the floor is dirty lol. The thing that really bothered me is the employee who grabbed a box from a top shelf and commented it was dirty and then proceeded to make the next sandwich without changing his gloves? Not exactly the best practice and makes me wonder what's been mixed in with my food. Long story short, the food is still great even though they didn't have two of the sandwiches I was wanting, which was disappointing. Consequently, because the food tastes great and is always consistent I will do three instead of two stars. After waiting an unusually long time in drive through (at 3 pm and I was the only customer), I received the messiest sandwich, and they omitted my dessert. I ended up having to go inside and wait some more for the eclair. The turkey bacon avocado sandwich sub chicken was awful! The avocados were gray. If you wouldn't eat it, don't serve it! Hello, everyone. I went here on a date once with a man who's name I have long forgotten. I left uninterested but still gave him my number to be a polite queen. He then proceeded to ghost me because men like to think they're in control, Anyways, the French toast was so frenchy and so toasty. The syrup was SMACKIN, and the little craft store section really said Hobby Lobby. I love to hob and lob, so this was a 10/10 experience, restaurant wise. Also this date happened to be during suicide awareness week, so a cute little awareness march happened behind us. I went to this location in the morning to pick up some brownies for a work event I was hosting. I purchased a dozen brownies of 3 different varieties. When I returned to the office and opened the boxes to prep for our event, I found that 2 of the three flavors were hard as a rock and extremely stale. Provo Kneaders has a different atmosphere these days. Most of the workers struggle to understand what you are ordering when taking your order. The food now is subpar and I have been coming here for years and notice a big difference lately. The management is completely different now. Today they had closed the drive-through and the Gold menu takeout on the app was not working. They said it's because they have low staff today. The Coke was out at the machines and also the sourdough bread loaves were out. Our chicken noodle bowl was only 3/4 full on both of them and my avocado sandwich didn't have an any avocado. I know, I know; it doesn't sound very American, but outside the breast of my wife's skillfully roasted Thanksgiving bird, there is only one place I actually die for their turkey and that is Kneaders! What. Do. They. Do. To. Their. Turkey??!! Seriously, it has to be laced with something, because I LOVE it. My standards at Kneaders are their turkey bacon avocado sandwiches and salads! The focaccia that is traditionally comes on is fantastic, but I also love it on country white (their sourdough). And don't forget to ask for some cranberry sauce on the side to add as you are downing that sandwich (that is if you can stop yourself long enough to add some to your next bite). As for their bread, we regularly buy their hazelnut multigrain (with full-size hazelnuts throughout), sourdough, and rye breads are on our list. I didn't want to do this, but Kneaders has forced my hand. What a shame how bad they've tanked, and not just at this location - the entire chain has taken several turns for the worse. It started awhile back when they couldn't get an order right to save lives. Then, the breakfast croissants that were once a thing of beauty and deliciousness became something you might see under the lights at 7-11. The once-glorious sausage, egg and cheese croissant was my personal favorite. The last one I ventured to order honestly looked like it had been tossed around a hockey rink prior to handing it to me at the window...and didn't taste much better. Then, I visit them a couple weeks ago to find that... My (former) favorite drive-thru salad is now half the size, with even less than half the toppings, and now you certainly don't need two salad dressings, so it naturally now comes with only one. I thought they'd made a mistake and given me the half when I ordered the whole. Nope. Priced the same, no information to the customer, just half the salad you got only days before. Nice. Right now they are doing $5 unlimited French toast but every time I go to get some they are out. So much for unlimited. They are also constantly out of cheeses, avocados, and BREAD!!
