Well, it was sort of a done deal when the counter fellow brought it up so I paid it. ( Very nice fellow by the way.) Looked online at Amazon today and the prices range from $9 to $16 for the very best one. And this thing did not even fit properly. Had to use a small amount of tape on the edge to seal it. I've been working with this store for 22 years. I've gotten way better advice than combing the internet for hours. lots of decent parts at a decent price. Occasionally the part is a fluke, but they've always been fair and helpful. This is my go-to store. Highly recommend if you want good advice and decent auto/trailer/tractor parts at a good price. If you need a random auto shop employee to validate your woke liberal insecurities, look elsewhere.

Once I got it back one day later I had to take it back because it wasn't working right. They said they fixed the leaks and problems to only have the car die one week later as I was driving to work. Had to have it towed (to another place this time) Another mechanic told me the work wasn't completed as Tim and Butch told me it was. When we called and told them the damage that was done they didn't offer to correct it or give us our money back. They took our money, Kept the car too long, and are dishonest. Basically they butchered my car!

They took payment immediately -- then canceled the installation two days later without explanation. After rescheduling, they canceled the entire order. Hoping it was a fluke, I placed the order again because the price was good. Set another installation date. Canceled again two days later. Then -- ironically -- I was notified the tires had arrived and I should schedule a pickup. I didn't want to pick them up -- I wanted them installed. I went to the store and asked if they could install the tires right then. At first, I was told no. When I asked to cancel the order, they suddenly could install them. So I left my Bronco and was told it would be ready in 1.5 hours. Guess what? 1.5 hours later, they called me to say their machine couldn't install the tires because of the size. I returned, got a refund for the tires -- but they couldn't refund the installation fee at the store. Now I have to call a 1-800 number and chase down my own money. This entire experience was a circus of incompetence, poor communication, and wasted time. I will never go back to the Walmart Auto Center again -- and I strongly recommend you don't either.

After examining my vehicle, I was told that in order to have that switch replaced, it would be necessary to have the steering column removed so they could access this switch and it would cost approximately $700.00.
