I was in recently to grab a coffee after visiting a friend. The manager was very unprofessional and extremely rude to the poor employee's working. Also found out they have had positive tests for Covid come back from employees and the manager is continuing to have said tested postive employee's working. How is that safe for the employee's or us as customers. I will not be going back after what I've experienced. I left with so much hesitation that I didn't even drink my coffee. I love Klatch. I was so happy to switch off of Starbucks and find them! Their coffee and espresso is rich and so yummy! I like to get the creme brûlée latte. The menu is also delicious, I love the go-to sandwich and the breakfast wrap. However, I actually came here to write about the staff! They are overall incredibly kind and in good spirits, nothing like Starbucks which can be so rude and inconsistent (and I go way too often.) Bree is an absolutely standout employee, her quality control in so spot on and I appreciate her so much for catching an accidental milk mistake once or twice. I went here one time after I moved into las colinas neighborhood, and let me tell you I regretted it INSTANTLY. I waited in line for about 20 mins, so I figured this place would be good but MAN I was wrong. I ordered a creme brûlée latte and an egg frittata, both were absolute atrocities, and let me tell you why. The latte tasted like burnt, stale coffee was used out of a pot that hadn't been cleaned in 70 years and was just constantly left on the heater for the coffee inside the pot to evaporate and burn its old, stale, charred flavor into the coffee pot much like a cast iron pan. The frittata (if you can call it that) looked like a flan made of eggs and was covered in a messy, smelly pesto sauce (it was EVERYWHERE.) I was given no silverware, pesto sauce leaked from the bottom of the foldable, cardboard to go box that they handed me my food in. It made my car REAK! I immediately went to the gas station next door and threw both items away. Waiting for 20 mins in line during mid afternoon was not worth the disappointment. Worst coffee spot I've ever been to, I'll get a McDonald's breakfast before I go here again, and I've been boycotting McDonald's for the last decade. Just terrible. read more

This establishment Klatch Coffee has ABSOLUTELY the WORST customer service, no coffee available at 6 p.m. although they don't close til 8 p.m.. A coffee house off the 15fwy, had no ready and available coffee but offered what they called a "pour over" which takes 5 minutes to brew, no flavored creamer only flavored syrups. After speaking with the store manager Jeremy who informed me he is the a.m., p.m., and store manager of Klatch Coffee who works ten hour days was argumentative, condescending, and unprofessional offering no assistance to get customers what they came for, an enjoyable cup of Coffee!!!! If you want to waste your time just to be offered a generic cup of coffee and have Jeremy initiate confrontation by way of his condescending remarks then I would highly suggest you go to the Klatch Coffee off Sierra and the 15fwy in Fontana California. read more

What a great location that is not too crowded and not too far. This location is a great place to get some productive studying done, but also get some quality coffee and snacks. I had their version of the Pumpkin Spice Latte and their Sausage Breakfast Sandwich (not sure what their official names are). Both were amazing and a great kickstart to a 7 hour study sesh. These items literally kept me going through the day. The latte is not too sweet, which is just what I like and their breakfast sandwich was a perfect portion. I will definitely be coming back. First off let me say that I'm a Rancho Cucamonga native. I have been going to Klatch since I started appreciating coffee at 15 yo. I'm now 35. I have always held klatch as the holy grail of coffee shops in the Southern California area. This location however, is lacking. I'm hoping it gets to the level of the mother store. It seems as if the main problem is the drive through. Klatch knows that their coffee shouldn't be rushed. Today, I received a "pour over" that was either 1, rushed or 2, not even what I ordered and a batch brew. I know this because we were in and out of the drive thru in under 3 minutes. A proper pour over, after weighing, grinding, and going through the pour over process takes a good 5 minutes. May this may not seem like a big deal, it is to someone paying 5 plus dollars for a cup of coffee with a palate and expectations, receiving a watered down, rushed pour over, or even worse a bad cup of batch brew that is 3 dollars. On top of that, they didn't get my wife's bar, when she clearly repeated the order at the drive thru. Once we called her out on it, she said, "well I didn't charge you for it so if you want it still I can re charge you. After we had already paid for our coffee." No receipt was given and no apologies given for the miscommunication. Also, at this point, I'd figure they would just swallow the loss and give us the Pastry. Because my wife was clearly irritated. Let me say, I know this isn't typical of klatch. But this location needs to step it up a notch. On top of that they have a rewards program and you can't use it here because "we don't have internet service" it's been over a year they've been open and can't get this sorted out. read more

As a devout Klatch customer, I am HEAVILY disappointed in the new changes coming into the store. My home store being Rancho, I was in Fontana running some errands and was ecstatic to see that there was a drive-thru nearby, and I was dying for my favorite drink (Bee's Knees). I had brought my own cup, as I had made my own cup of coffee this morning (Some Keurigs have a nice iced coffee option, in which I use on the way to work). So, I have my own cup, my own ice (Sustainable AF!). I go to order my drink and request no ice, and notice that the drink is slightly more expensive. I request my receipt and see that I have been upcharged because i requested no ice. I have had multiple issues with Klatch in the past, but have brushed them over the fact that they are a women-owned, family business local to Rancho's history. But the line is truly drawn when a business gets greedy. When talking to the barista about this change (which I was not upset with the Barista, they dont make changes to the menu), they had claimed it was because the store is using more product in absence of ice and that it was a company policy. Mind you, I have been to this drive-thru before and have been attacked by bees (or wasps?) months before through their drive-thru, have seen many different faces over the month and dealt with long waiting lines. I am not new to Klatch, as I used to be pretty devout. But getting upcharged for NO ice in my drink is ridiculous. I was fine with the extra charges for bacon, guacamole, you know, items that I want extra of. But charging for NO ice, is dumb and they're squeezing money out of their customers. They will be losing more customers by implementing these stupid policies. read more

Went throught the drive through at the north Fontana location.  I ordered a 12oz coffee--and that's it.  There were a couple of cars ahead of me so you might think they have time to prepare my coffee right? Wrong. I get up to the window and the barista at the window tells me they are out of coffee, if I could please pull around and wait 4-5 minutes while they prepare my order---a 12oz cup of coffee. I was shocked that a coffee place was out of coffee!  Anyway, I pull around to the front and wait.  Five minutes go by and nothing. I see cars going through the drive through and leaving while I'm waiting--for a 12oz cup of coffee! I had to go in and and get a simple coffee I had ordered almost ten minutes earlier. Klatch is very underwhelming and extremely expensive for bland coffee and food. Understand that I have been going to Klatch for YEARS. From their San Dimas location to Rancho Cucamonga and now to their Fontana location. I have seen the transition of many outstanding employees, and it all comes down to the same thing. Time and time again I have seen these workers basically worked down to the bone, while it seems like one of their owners just watches them struggle. I used to have great respect for Heather and Holly Perry work for raising a woman-owned business out of the ground and establishing multiple locations. Especially for Heather when she was President of the Coffee Association. But that respect ends here for the blatant mistreatment of their staff. I have watched employees get berated, yelled at and working with equipment that is broken (broken refrigerator doors that fall on their feet) all the while being short-staffed. This crew is one of the hardest working crews I have ever seen at a fast food establishment, but by the way they are treated by upper management it is hard to enjoy their products. I have seen Holly watch on as the crew is trying to make it above and beyond for all of their customers, while being short on people. It is really disheartening. I love Klatch, but I cannot support a brand that cannot support its employees. The coffee they serve can be great, but the potential for greatness lies in how they treat their employees. It is a domino effect, happy employees, happy customers, happy business. If you're going to spend your hard-earned money on amazing-tasting coffee, I would venture off elsewhere. Most of the time I have ordered here, the drink does not always taste the same (hot coffee with two pumps of vanilla) and I always have to come in and have them remake it. read more
