Service: Friendly service here. Our waitress was very helpful with explaining their specials and the menu. She always came back to check up on us. Food: The food here is good, like your typical diner food. I'm an adult and I got to order from the kids menu lol. (Last iHop I went to didn't let me order from the kids menu) I tend to eat little portions. I'm surprised they don't do anything for your birthday! Spending time in Fontana with our grandkids and our grandson chose IHOP. This located downtown. Pretty great service by Oscar and really great breakfast. I had the mushroom omelette with protein pancakes (for just a bit of an up-charge). I loved both. The pancakes were actually pretty good plain. I ate them as a snack the next day. Karson had the kids pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. He's no big eater and he ate most of it (all of the bacon and eggs). So it must have been good. read more

I come to this location at least 3 times a month. Sometimes before work other times dinner hours or weekends. The service is usually fast, the restrooms very clean. I appreciate their rewards program, it keeps loyal as I can score a free meal for my toddler almost every visit or kids eat free promotions on weekdays. The manager is usually present, greeting, running the show. I go for their strawberry New York cheescake pancakes and leave happy. read more

My friends and I went there last week. The service was horrible and took too long to get our meals. Then when meals came out they were cold or wrong. One of my friends didn't even eat her meal cuz it was too cold and not edible. Then when my meal came out it got stuck on the bottom of another play and fell on the table. I had to wait another 15 minutes to get another plate made. When it came out it was cold and not enjoyable. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks we were there too long and should have been treated properly. Ok they may have been understaffed, there is no reason for poor service or food. This place has horrible service and they don't verify identification upon order pick up. Someone picked up my order mistakenly placed that this location and they has the nerve to run the camera back and send me a picture of who picked up the order who clearly wasn't the person on the card I used as we are African American and they sent me back the picture of a Hispanic guy. They are literally arguing refunding me $30. What such horrible customer service. Food was probably going to be trash since I have to deal with the trash at this franchise trying to get a refund. Note to company: if you're not going to do identification verification upon order pick up versus delivery then I highly recommend everyone just go there and pick up whatever order you have waiting. ihop, uhop, we all hop; to IHOP It's been a while since I have been to any IHOP locations. This is mostly because I'm not a huge breakfast person. Aside from avocado toast, and the occasional pancakes/ French toast or waffles. I generally don't crave that though. It's the hashbrowns for me. I love hashbrowns and potatoes. Is my Irish side showing? :) I was craving potatoes the other day. So, I decided to give this IHOP a shot. I drive past it a lot on my way to work. I ordered a random assortment of things; went with the home fries (fried potatoes- I mean, how could I not? lol), mozzarella sticks (I warned ya it was random), and drum roll..... the Jalapeno poppers. And a drink to top it off. Basically, a gang of fried crap is what I ordered hahahaha no shame here. The potatoes were great, and the mozzarella sticks from IHOP are my favorite. If you are a mozzarella stick connoisseur, you must try these! They are big and very cheesy. I'd pass on the poppers next time though. read more

Against my hearts desire we landed here for an early dinner! Bad choice! Wrong day! Not a good move! I saw shrimp on the menu and got excited! I ordered shrimp an fries with a side salad. Very easy right? Ppppfffttttt.... Waitress returns and says "we only have Ranch and Balsamic Vinegar for the salads!" Booooooo.....that was the very sign that should have caused me to exit the Bldg. But no...I stayed any way. My food comes out and it's a plate full of shrimp with some grossly executed sauces that were horrible! How do you have shrimp on the menu without tartar or cocktail sauce? Who thought this through? Obviously no one right! They took some marinara sauce and mixed it with ketchup. For the facade of tartar sauce, they mixed ranch with some herbs. Nice attempt, bad idea! I asked where the fries were and she brought out-this crazy looking plate of sloppy french fries that stayed on that plate. Just gross! They were unevenly cooked and unseasoned! Our waitress was new so it wasn't her fault. As far as I could tell, she'd definitely be an asset. For her 1st day, she did ok with what she had. And 2 desserts on the entire menu?????? This place used to be great. Friendly and quick staff. Ordered our food, my daughters came out first and I was cutting her food for her, server brings out the rest of our food, and proceeds to reach over and across my daughter food to place my food down. That just happened to be a pet peeve of mine. They then bring the check to which I place my card on top, they take process it and bring it back, or so I thought. After finishing my meal I go to sign and put away my card. No card present. Another waitress ask if we needed anything I said I'm missing my card. She leaves comes back and asked if I checked under the receipt. I then asks for the Manager and he's just as lazy if not dumbs as them. So apparently she placed it on the tray but as she turned must have dropped it, another customer found it and turned it in the cashier, to which the manager tells me, and apparently now I'm suppose to get up and go get it. Service was good but the quality of my side salad was very poor. Side salad for $6.99 to be white leftover lettuce and a few specks of tomatoes was uncalled for. The lettuce and onions tasted old. And the ranch containers were not even half full. I don't use much ranch. I dip my fork in dressing and eat salads that way but still the containers could have been full to the top. Jack in the Box side salad would been 1000x better . and portions are crazy small. I understand inflation but come on. I haven't seen portions this small in a long time. Never going back! I had a terrible experience. I placed a phone order around 2pm on Easter. Upon arrival at IHOP around 3:30, I was informed my order still wasn't ready an hour and a half later. She hadn't even placed it to the kitchen. My husband went in, it was not packed inside, the breakfast and lunch rush was gone. The cashier, Stephanie, apologized and called our order to the kitchen, in Spanish. Luckily, my husband knows Spanish, so he heard her miss a few details about our order. He kindly corrected her, and her response was to chuff and sigh and reorder our food with an attitude. He heard the chef say "oh wow" even though we ordered it correctly over the phone in the first place? Stephanie wouldn't come back out to hand us our food even though we were polite the whole time. The chef had to do it. It is now 4:15 pm and I just got my food, two hours later, and realized they forgot my crepes as well, which I didn't bother going back in for considering the treatment we got the first time we tried correcting our order. We felt very unwelcome, we felt bad because our order was incorrect, late, and we were missing food and treated us as though we were being rude. We will not be visiting this location any longer, unfortunately. Sad we had this experience. It felt like no one made an effort to rectify our experience. read more

The worse food and service, ever. I remember now, why I stopped ordering from this location in 2021. This time they not only made my husband wait an additional 20-30 min but all of our food was cold and they made my order wrong. How hard is it to get bacon or sausage in a container to go? To put butter on toast?! I thought I'd call and talk to the manager, but quite honestly, my family and I are all too sick from the flu to even bother. It's not like they'll change anything at this point. I've lived in the area for seven years and they have only gotten worse and worse. It's pretty sad to say the least.
