I am so sad to write this. We were regulars here before the Pandemic. We started returning in January. We have been here 3 times since. I am not sure we will be returning. I can forgive the higher pricing due to inflation. Although, it is the same price to eat at Disneyland now. The service has gone way down hill. Each time we have been to this IHOP over the last 7 months, service has been less than ideal. Today Ana was our server. She sat us down and served us drinks right away. We got our order taken, but then nothing. She never came by for a food update. We waited like 30 min. We understand kitchen can get backed up but nothing wad communicated to us. We requested drink refills, but after 15 more minutes, we flagged down another server to help us. She then comes by and was like, oh, you already got it. Then we finally get our food brought out one by one. She never came to check on us at all. No apology for delayed food. Nothing. She would make eye contact and then pretend to not see us. And this was just today's visit. For the price of the food now, I would at least expect medium service. I always tip well when it is earned. It was not earned today. Unfortunately, my family will not be rushing back to this IHOP. We didn't feel welcome at all. read more

Although we had a larger party of 7 ( 4 kids & 3 adults) we were seated in a timely manner BUT... it took over 30 minutes to get our food. Our server never checked on us AND when we asked for water when we received our order we didn't receive it. We had to flag down another server to get water. The kids were very excited to get the minions meal that is shown on the current commercial with a good face on it (?) but the meal does not exist on the menu. Dont Uber Eats from here. Order was cold and lacked flavor. ordered a custom omelette with blueberry with cupcake pancakes through Uber eats. My order was wrong, they gave me plain pancakes. I was craving the lemon blueberry pancakes that I paid. Not satisfied. - 2 for forgetting my custom selected pancakes that I paid extra for. Didn't taste good after pics. Couldn't eat it. Service was ok, sat down got our drinks, my sons water had what looked like a piece of a broken tooth in it, and some floating red stuff, I contacted the manager to let him know, he just took it said "oh sorry" and asked if we wanted a new water. Really dude? No I want to keep drinking from the dirty water with unknown stuff in the glass. I ordered a iced tea, and it was very off flavor. After we got our food, our waitress didn't come check on us, and we wanted more syrup as our table was missing a few, ketchup, and hot sauce. 9/9/2022 My experience at this IHOP was horrible the service was bad the waitress was very rude! She was acting like she hated her job... she brought us coffee after 20 minutes.. another 10 minutes to bring us flavor milk ...we asked for a spoon and waited another 10 minutes.. finally we were fed up with the horrible service we decided to leave .. it was 40 minutes and still no food.. Decided to take the Family to brunch on a Sunday. 1st thing that happened was they skipped us when seating. We chose to wait outside because it was muggy in the waiting room and they never came to call us. So when they did seat us, which was late, we got stuck in a back corner. Then we ordered food, and most of the food came except for the Hash Browns and my daughters chicken and waffle breakfast. We waited approx 15 minutes for the rest of the food to arrive. By the time the remainder of the food arrived, the food we already ordered was cold. Then im finally eating, and i asked for some sour creme to eat with my omelet. It never came. The waitress just never brought it. I did complain to the person in charge while i was there. She took a small $13 off of my order. I really feel that with such a bad experience, our entire meal should have been comped. We definitely deserved more than a $13 discount. The only thing that got 2 stars was that the taste of the food was actually good. I will not be returning and would not recommend this IHOP. At least not with the current staff running it. read more

The food is the only reason I gave it a star. The service was horrible!. We arrived at 1:20 we left at 2:40!!! IHOP specializes in pancakes .... They ran out of pancakes the waitress said, I doubt it. I believe she forgot about us or just didn't care. The restaurant was about 80 % empty when we got there I was a little concerned because IHOP was always an hour+ wait time. As we were waiting for our food the restaurant became 90% full... by the time we left it was empty again Everyone came ate and left before we were served!!!! I'm sure they ordered pancakes. Update: I received a refund for the food item and was contacted by management, who offered to make it up. I responded that the refund was sufficient and that I will try them again and hopefully things will be improved. read more

We had the best service ever at the IHOP in Fontana on foothill avenue, our server was Sofia, she was very helpful with a very positive attitude and cheerful. And she attended to us quite often while we were there. We had the best experience there because of Sofia and her wonderful attitude. We will be returning!! read more

Shout out to Oscar, my family and I came in on 1/31/24 around 5:30pm and he seated us, took our order, checked on us through out the night and brought our food. Overall other than the cooks, I would have guessed Oscar did it all lol, but I do appreciate great customer service and we for sure got that from Oscar, even when I had an issue with my order he took care of it immediately with no hesitation. This place is ok. The service is alright but the food took forever to arrive. I noticed a couple of customers complaining about the time it took for the food to arrive. Today came in to eat with my husband and daughter. Food was good, our server was good as well, however there was a server sitting at a booth wrapping the utensils in the napkins and another server next to her. They were cursing so loudly and obnoxiously the entire time we were eating to the point that it made us extremely uncomfortable. We had my 8 year old child with us and couldn't believe our ears. She literally stood up at one point and said very loudly "shit fuck, fuck this, shit fuck fuck fuck" as if she were joking. I'm still just so shocked, at a total loss for words. My husband and I just stared at each other in shock. It made our lunch very uncomfortable and awkward. 2 stars for the food but still very disappointed and upset. I don't even know how to begin! I travel 400 miles to come visit my mother and take her out to breakfast this morning. I specifically order fresh eggs, for my self my family and for my 5 year old. Soon after we all felt sick to our stomachs following diarrhea and becoming nauseous.
