This place used to have the best pastrami sandwiches. They are not cheap, and I don't mind paying for quality. When I would head home back to Vegas I would purchase 5 to go and they would never be a disappointment. However, on Sunday I came in and order 3 Pastrami sandwiches. The meat that was in all 3 of my sandwiches was the amount normally used in one. Very disappointed. And I paid 71.00 dollars. I am super picky and only go where I know I would get quality. Only here to write about the chili cheese omelette. One, I love eggs. I don't care how much it cost. I'm going to eat eggs. I love chili but, not all chili is created equal. I added onions. I subbed potatoes for nothing but, he offered tomatoes and I'm glad I did because it cut the richness of the chili. The egg and chili ratio was perfect. Disappointed with customer service , food was great but the lady running the register not only lied to our face about them not having chili verde because she got irritated because I asked her 1 question too much . 2/1/25 this happened at 3 pm and sorry to say after 8 years of going there we will not be going back as the lady's lies and rudeness were clearly seen by customers and rubbing off on the workers as it seems they were under her supervision. This used to be one of my favorite spots to eat! Now the food is mediocre and the staff are terrible. The drive through speaker has barely worked for a few years now and they get mad at you that you can barely hear them. I paid for my food then before leaving remembered to ask for ranch so they charged $1 (no problem) but I didn't want to swipe my card again for $1 so I grabbed coins and when I looked up to pay the lady was standing there shaking her head with a mad look on her face. Then as I started pulling away I look over again and she's literally giving me a dirty look still as I drive away. I remember coming to this place when I was just a teen and today it was just as good as it was two decades ago. This place is located on Arrow & Cherry. It's not be confused with a few other burger joints up the street. This place also has large vehicle parking for all you truckers and Toy haulers coming from the Speedway (enter from Arrow Blvd.). Burger Basket has an epic breakfast menu including huevos rancheros, but also has a variety of dishes to pick from for lunch and dinner. I ordered the good ole fashioned bacon cheeseburger and onion rings. The burger was fresh and every bite had great taste to it. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the onion rings. I believe they were a little under fried lol, if that is such a thing. I really can't complain though because my belly and I left very satisfied. I missed coming here and glad I stopped.
