Extremely impressed with the Klamfoth company. They passed the test in every possible way. After I called them, Kayla promptly set up an appointment for Russell to come assess our trees and give an estimate. Kayla and Russell were extremely friendly and professional. One reason I wanted the Klamfoths to do the job was because I noticed they had arborist licenses in addition to trimming trees, so I knew they would do the best thing for the tree and not just hack away at it. Sure enough, Russell was deeply knowledgeable about the tree, its growth, and everything else. He said they always want to trim as little as possible from the trees to keep the healthy and avoid safety issues, which told me that he was trustworthy. The estimate was extremely reasonable, so I scheduled an appointment. They were equally impressive when they showed up to complete the job. They showed up early! I was shocked. What a rare thing in this day and age. Once they got started, I was happy to see that they were taking many careful safety precautions to make sure my lawn, yard, and house were not in danger of getting trashed by falling limbs. They were very friendly and professional the entire time. When they finished, they cleaned up all of the branches and used a leaf blower to clean the street/driveway. They also cut down a smaller tree for free, which was fantastic. In summary, I was very, very happy with the Klamfoth company. Plus, they're a local family business, which I like to support when I can. I will absolutely contact them again. read more

Had our whole front and back (medium sized trees and lots of shrubs) cleaned, trimmed, removed, etc... Whole yard clean up (beds where bushes and shrubs were all cleaned). Ned Klamfoth's crew of 4 were here right on time, very kind and friendly, worked very hard for 5-1/2 hours and I am thrilled! Things just get away from you when you try to maintain it yourself but, sometimes, you just have to ask someone who knows what he is doing. Ned is licensed, certified arborist, has full coverage insurance, etc.. I had a flyer on my porch a couple of months ago. I checked them out before I called. Had excellent reviews and everyone was right. I'd have them out at our Carmichael house again in a heartbeat! read more

Wow! Can't say enough about the Klamfoth Tree team! Watched them work all day on my neighbors tree that hangs over my driveway - they were so professional and meticulous I asked them to take a look at my 100+ year old tree after and they even saved the day by helping install my daughters swing on a 30 foot branch! They were unbelievably kind and did a wonderful job servicing multiple trees on our street - I will definitely use them and highly recommend them to friends and family! read more

I too learned about Ned Klamfoth Tree Service from a flyer that I received. Normally, I shy away from these types of solicitations, but happened to be in the market for tree work so I checked them out. Found they not only had great reviews, but were insured, licensed and in good standing with the state contractors license board. Set an appointment with Ned to come out and scope out all of my overgrown trees along with some aggressive wisteria that had completely overtaken the top of a really tall pine tree in my backyard. After receiving 3 total bids, Ned not only came in at the best price, but did such an awesome job that I wouldn't hesitate to use him again should the need arise. Seriously, don't even bother getting any other bids, because Ned will beat them all hands down! Bottom line is, everyone needs a good tree guy they can trust, and Ned is that guy. read more

Russell is very knowledgeable about trees! I have had them out twice, one of which was an emergency when a twisted juniper had a huge branch explode and land on pool equipment and fence. They were there within an hour and took care of it! Russell explained what happened (which I had no idea), which was very helpful going forward! Russell & his crew are great to work with! They come in, do the job very well, cleanup better than it was before they arrived! I highly recommend Klamfoth Tree Service! read more

I really wished I took before pictures so you could see what an amazing job this company did. They were friendly, told me what to expect prior to the massive backyard clean-up. If you are looking for a fair and reasonably priced clean-up, call this company. You will be completely satisfied. read more

Very professional and very friendly. Did a fantastic job on all 5 trees. Highly recommend.

I have used Klamfoth Tree Service for tree trimming at my East Sacramento home various times over the past years, always with good results. A team just left after trimming up my side of a mature holly oak that drops prickly leaves from a neighbor's yard. They were prompt, courteous and thorough, careful of my plants and cleaned up neatly. Recommended (they did not ask for a review). read more

I called Klamfoth Tree Service and left a voicemail by days end Ned called me back. He came out and gave me a fair estimate, he was punctual, informative and was able to fit me into his schedule within the week. Ned and his crew were professional in every sense of the word. The job was a very large Elm tree and it now looks fantastic. The clean up was also very professional and all done in a timely manner. We have used Klamfoth Tree Service for many years and have always been completely satisfied. Ned and his crew recently removed an 80-ft tree in our backyard that had become a hazard due to falling limbs. They did an excellent job removing the tree and grinding the stump. The yard was left clean with no damage to other plants. Ned is very knowledgeable, professional and fairly priced. read more

Klamfoth Tree Service arrived on time to give me an estimate to remove birch trees from my front yard. The price was very reasonable. The day of the removal, the crew arrived and in 2.5 hours the tree was gone, the stump ground, and my yard left in clean excellent condition. Honest, reliable, and skilled. What more could one ask of a company? Without reservation, I recommend Klamfoth Tree Service. read more

Absolutely amazing! Ned left a flyer on my doorstep and I called after having two other tree services come by. He was the best quote to remove two pines (including the stumps) and clear up the deadwood of three other trees. The day of removal, we asked for another tree in the yard to be removed and stump ground and also for him to remove a tree we had chopped down ourselves. He did it for a few hundred more. His guys were quick, professional and polite. They had the job done in a few hours and left our yard looking spotless! We have some trees out front that need to be done as well, and when we are ready for that, I'll be giving Ned another call. He answered all my questions and even gave me some tips on tree health and was very kind. I would highly reccomend Klamfoth Tree Service! read more

We ending up going with Klamfoth Tree Service (Ned) as a suggestion from some members of Nextdoor.com. He has his son and grandson working with him and it was a great experience. The whole crew was very courteous and diligent. They did the job we asked at a great price; they even removed a few cut logs we had at no additional price. 916-912-7849. read more

We have had Ned and his crew maintain our trees for several years now. They have helped us implement our plan to eventually replace several ash trees nearing their end of life with younger trees. They are fast, professional, and polite. Prices are good. It is a pleasure to deal with Ned and his crew. They are also insured in case of accident. We will use them again. read more

Knowledgable, artistic, attentive, listened to my interests and needs, and showed up ON TIME! Followed through with excellence and courtesy. HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants it done right. They have done work for me twice now, and I'll have them back again. read more

I had a flyer dropped off on my front door for Klamfoth Tree Service and was impressed by Ned's all in one service of being a certified Arborist, Licensed and Insured, as well as providing stump grinding, which is often a separate service. I had Ned come out an access my yard. As an Arborist, he provided me more information about my trees so that I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. He provided me a very fair quote on my tree removal as well as some additional trimming on my neighbors trees. We decided to go with Ned. On the day of the scheduled service, his team of employees (not day laborers) showed up EARLY for the job and were already set up by the time Ned arrived (on time) to provide detailed instructions. They guys worked for a solid 8 hours on our yard, and as Ned had promised, they made our burdensome tree "disappear". I have hired other tree services in the past and will not make that same mistake again. I will only hire and recommend Klamfoth Tree Service from here on out. read more

We used Klamfoth Tree Service on a large commercial project that had several enormous overgrown trees that needed trimming as well as a handful of large trees that needed to be removed. Ned and his crew came in and took care of everything in a couple days. His workers were extremely professional and we're very delicate with the surrounding landscape. Awesome bunch of guys to work with! We plan on using Klamfoth Tree Service on any future projects read more

Will definitely use again! Great price and great work thank you! The cleanup was amazing, can't even tell I had a tree removed. Thanks again read more
