He is all the things! Recommended by a friend.... I was taking bids with prices all over the place and he was the most reasonable and was even honest about how those prices companies bid are unfair. With that said.... him And his team knocked out my project in two days and made it look easy. Cleaned up the mess and I'm just super happy with it all. Jeff is now my tree guy and I recommend him to anyone/everyone. Honest and efficient. That's what matters. A couple reviews were negative. All I have to say is if you're negative to them they respond to your energy. He was great to me. A moment of disagreement but I read him and felt it and made it right because in the end.... I appreciate what he did for me and he appreciates my business and it comes full circle. Satisfied business transaction. Extremely grateful for this guy, his team, and his business. Thanks Jeff! read more

Jeff and his crew have always provided excellent and reasonably priced tree work. All of the people have always been first class in their work and customer service. The feedback from others we know has also been very positive. We would highly recommend Advanced Tree service. read more

Jeff came out the next day. Estimate for a huge redwood was more than fair. Knocked it down as promised. No suprises. I was so satisfied with the work I had him come back for removal of 2 large liquidamber trees and thin and trim a palm and chinese senisis. Imaculate job and clean up. He's a true solid and as a real estate appraiser, this is golden. He's my 1st go to and I recommend his outfit highly. read more

This is a late review. Advanced Tree Care Service took a tree out for us in May of 2017. I was reminded of this job when someone asked for a referral of a tree removal service yesterday. We were satisfied with the job and felt their cost was reasonable. They took out the tree, chipped the branches removed all the wood and ground the stump and left the work area clean. I'd be happy to refer them to anyone. read more

I Do Not Recommend Advanced Tree Care. I called them to help remove a fallen dead tree from my yard. I got a great quote which I accepted. This company never followed up nor did they show up. Very unprofessional and disappointing! read more

My neighbor hired this company to take down an oak tree sitting right next to our brand new fence. Four guys worked on the tree, and it was like watching art. Branches came down and not one landed on our fence or the yard. Branches were hanging over the top of a mobile home behind us, and no branches scratched the top of the mobile home. Guys are professional, efficient, and careful. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional to remove a tree. read more

Great service and reasonable prices! They provided me an estimate for tree trim, root grind, and stump grind the day after I called. There price was $50 less than the otheres and included the stump grinding, where the others did not. My scheduled me in that week, where the others were 1 month out. read more

Jeff and his team are great, punctual and professional. Oh and did I mention best prices in town.

I was referred to Jeff by a mutual friend who used him. Jeff came out the next day to give me an estimate and the following day to do the work. His prices were the best and his team did a great job and were quick. I will call Jeff back for more tree work for the future. read more

Advanced Tree Care Services made quick work of the nuisance trees destroying my sewer lines. The trees I had removed needed to be done so carefully as they were located dangerously close to powerlines. Not only did they do quick, high quality work but they were as much as 50% lower than other bids I received for my job. Jeff Newrider has years of experience and his knowledge about what trees to replace the removed trees, when to plant them, etc. was an added bonus. His crew was seasoned and did not cut corners. They left my yard looking better than when they started. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs tree trimming or removal services. read more

I called Advanced Tree Care Services and talked with Jeff, we agreed to a time to meet at my residence which was on a SUNDAY! He showed up on time and answered all of our questions thoroughly, he provided us with an estimated "free of charge". We agreed and set up a time to begin work. The crew showed up on time as scheduled. They removed four very large Redwood Trees and one Giant Palm Tree. They were very careful not to damage the other landscaping and trees not to mention our house. The clean up was better then expected too! If you need a Tree Trim or removal I would recommend Advanced Tree Care Services to everyone! Judy H. - Sacramento read more

Jeff and his crew came on time. Service was professional. The job was done perfectly- will be using advanced tree care again! Phone calls returned on time Area was left clean Job performed on time- no issues read more

Although Jeff Newrider did a competent job cutting and removing a fallen tree on my property he refused to cut up the tree stump as stated in our contract. I repeatedly asked Jeff to meet with me to discuss the trunk removal and he refused. Very poor customer service! Please take your business elsewhere. read more

Jeff and his crew did a really great job trimming 2 overgrown mullberry trees. They shaped the trees and did not just cut the tops of the trees as most people do. The crew cleaned up after themselves and hauled the trimmings away. We paid half the cost compared to other companies quotes. Definitely recommend them for tree services and we will continue service with advanced tree as we are pleased with their communication , service and price. read more

Great service, great work and great price ! I have used this company for over 8 years and they never cease to amaze me with the quality of their work. They show up on time, work quickly and efficiently and leave the property in pristine condition when done. I recently had some work done and this time had the rosebushes pruned as well. Bobby, Jeff's employee, did an outstanding job with them. I was also very pleased with all the other workers as well. Everything looks great. I recommended this company to my neighbor and she hired them as well. You just can't go wrong with Advanced Tree Care. read more

They did a decent enough job taking the tree down when I could get them there. Extremely flaky. I was told that they would stump grind the stump and they did not. Here I am two years later, as I'm going to landscape the area and what do you know- there's the stump and roots still there. Jeff gave me the run-around twice stating that he would come but did not. No call, no show. Sounds like he deals with this type of thing all the time. Steer clear of this guy- super slimy. read more

Jeff gave me a very fair estimate to remove 4 very large cotton wood trees, and ugly roots. His crew showed up completed the work and cleaned and raked up the ground. They even went into the neighbors yard to pick up what fell over there. read more

Advanced Tree Care Services, owned by Jeff Newrider, does prompt and professional work for a very reasonable price. They removed my front yard stump, which measured over one foot in diameter, for $80, then asked if I wanted a large surface root ground up as well. I said yes, and they took that out too, for no additional fee. The two workers used a large machine for the front, then used a smaller machine to grind out a small stump in the back yard. They were very careful to identify where sprinkler lines ran, so as not to damage them. In addition, they used a plywood sheet to block splinters from striking the house while they were grinding. Finally, they cleaned up thoroughly with a blower, after finishing. These guys were polite, cheerful, and highly professional in every aspect of their work. Strongly recommended! read more

This dude was so aggressive. Im a neighbor nearby where they had a job. They blatantly parked in our driveway and continued to use self pity to justify it. After i wasn't having it, he became threatening and got in my face. All because he parked in my driveway.... what a tool. If he cant interact with a human being in a good way, especially during a time when he is on a job, Forget this guy. Call another. read more

We had a huge branch break off one of our older trees. These guys came right away and cleaned it up, trimmed the trees, got rid of all the branches and did a great job cleaning up after themselves around the yard. Very professional! Nice guys. We just had this company do our residential tree work. Jeff gave me an estimate one day, and they were out the very next day to start work and then showed up at 8am the day after thanksgiving to finish! Jeff gave me a great price for removing some old shrubs, and two pretty large oak trees. He and his crew arrived on schedule and did a great job. The yard was cleaned up and left tidy. I'm so glad I called Jeff because he came the same day and gave me an estimate, then showed up with his crew when he said he would even though he's been really busy with other problems because of the recent rain and wind. Jeff and his crew were awesome. I scheduled Jeff and couldn't get home from work until the afternoon. When I got home three trees were removed, stumps were ground and trimming was done exactly as I had asked and the yard was spotless. Will definitely use him again! read more

VERY particular about our trees (and rightly so, wanting to keep Sacramento the "Tree Capitol of the World" second only to Paris, France), we have been using Jeff & his Team for about 15 years. These guys really know their stuff! We have several properties and they have literally "sculpted" our monumental Chinese Hackberry, kept our many crabapples looking gorgeous, & transformed our beloved Tupelo from a rather "gangly-awkward teenager" into a breathtaking beauty. We've worked with Jeff's Team for a long, long time & they have ALWAYS delivered...they have NEVER "stumbled". No doubt about it: You can TRUST these guys!! read more

After many phone calls and seaching on PennySaver, we called Jeff and had an estimate for a stump removal in our front yard. We agreed and had set up an appointment for tuesday AM. On Monday afternoon, we called to confirm and he now change the time from 9am to 4pm. Tuesday came and no calls or show. We gave him a buzz and his response was thursday afternoon. This is BULLSHIT!!! Very unprofessional business person to lead us on and expect us to sit around and waste valuable time. There are other business people who are willing to work and would want our business. Do not call or do business with Jeff from Advannced Tree Care Service. By the way, do a spell check for Advance and maybe you can learn something read more

Great service. Jeff and I hit it off and he even brought me some of the yellow-tail he caught on his vacation fishing trip. The climber for Advanced tree was very experienced and they brought down big trees without damaging the small fruit trees or our gardens below. I even decided to do more than I had originally hired them for and Jeff gave me a new price and they had it all done that day--including deep stump grinding. They did a very good job with the debris pick up, and the price was within $25 of the other quotes. Our yard looks clean and new. I recommend Advanced Tree, they do great work. read more

Crew arrived on time with proper equipment. After reviewing the job with me, they got to work. Before packing up, foreman requested I walk the job to make sure it was done to my specifications. The overgrown tree with dead branches intermixed looks terrific! Crew cleaned up and left the front yard cleaner than they found it, making sure all debris in the street was picked up as well. Very pleased with the work and will hire again. read more

Called and asked for a quote, Jeff was quick and his quote was extremely reasonable! He quoted about 6 hours to remove 5 trees and to trim another however, he's was done in 2 and even took down a smaller tree that my wife added in at the last minute. His team is friendly and safe and they did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. I would Definitely recommend Jeff and his team! read more

My husband and I own multiple properties that require tree service annually or semi-annually. We have used a variety of companies over the past 10 years. Then we found Advanced Tree Care. Jeff came out and gave us a fair quote to cut/trim a total of 6 trees, which included 3 Mulberry trees on 2 properties. We went into what I consider great detail to understand what we as a homeowner wanted to achieve, and Jeff as a tree care professional recommended. He arrived on time to both appointments (quote and service) and was onsite the day of to make sure the workers understood the scope of work. His crew worked very hard, asked questions, and made recommendations as the work progressed. I additionally made some adjustments which were readily taken care of. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, were polite and safety conscience. Our neighbors even called to say what a great job they did at our property in Rio Linda! Thank you Jeff, Angelo, Climber (Dennis) and Chainsaw (real name unknown). Yes, I will use them again and yes I recommend them. read more
