DO NOT USE PA'A HANA TOWING & HAULING ($2,617.80 SCAM)…read more This is a formal warning about Chason Manoi dba Pa'a Hana Towing & Hauling. They failed to show up for an emergency recovery, refused to refund the excessive charge, lied repeatedly and engaged in what I believe is outright fraud. After our vehicle got stuck in a remote area, we were forced to prepay $2,617.80 for a quote that inexplicably jumped from the $2,000. (Which is still significantly higher than local laws are supposed to permit.) At 3:40, we were promised an ETA of 6:00 PM. They completely failed to show up, leaving us stranded in the dark for hours in a dangerous, remote location. Due to their no-show and safety concerns, we were forced to perform an extremely difficult self-recovery. We finally got free at 8:59 PM and immediately cancelled the service via text. The merchant never arrived at the recovery site. Thirty minutes AFTER I cancelled the contract, they sent a misleading photo taken miles away from our location, falsely claiming they were "here" to justify keeping the $2,617.80. This was a clear attempt to claim they performed a service that never happened. I filed a formal charge dispute with my credit card company, presenting the full timeline and evidence. They agreed with my claim of "Services Not Rendered" and issued a full refund. Avoid this company at all costs. They took advantage of an emergency situation, failed to provide service, and then tried to scam us out of a massive payment. The only way I got my money back was through a credit card dispute. They repeatedly lied along the way and fought the refund. I think that they never planned on showing up that night at all, getting to us from any point on the island shouldn't have taken more than 2 hours. I'm leaving this review everywhere to warn others.

I was also honored to have a dad/daughter duo, my five year old daughter's face lit up when she saw her!! She talked story with my kids and answered all their curious questions. I'm born and raised Kauaʻi and moved to O'ahu right after high school. The aloha I was shown this evening by All Kine Towing is the reason I moved home to raise my three keiki. Just the way everything was handled from start to finish was incredible. Super fast service, quality towing, and the aloha was truly there from talking with me about next steps to talking story with my keiki and all the questions they had!
