The phone number doesn't allow me to leave a message and to call back at a later time. I decide to send out an email inquiring about the status of the painting of my car. After 3 attempts of calling this week, I still haven't heard back from the shop. Hmmm. Communication could be much better. If I had known that this painting project would have taken over a month, I would have considered renting a car to make life easier. A phone call of the progress on my car would have been helpful and reassuring.

Aloha Yelp Community!…read more I must tell you about an awesome experience with Angel S. and the guys over at Kauai Auto Repair. Not many shops here on Kauai, HI touch my pride and joy! I installed these GM Camper Tow Mirrors on my 2015 Silverado 2500HD 2 years ago and was told at the time only the features that came on the truck would work Ex. (Power Adjust/Defog) functions as that is what the truck was equipped with when built by the factory. These OEM Mirrors come with a load of extra features and added a small cosmetic boost to the appearance of the truck. I was not wanting to splice into the factory harness or run a bunch of loose wires on my fairly new truck so i waited and checked the forms for a factory solution. To my surprise GM had many customers express interest in this mirror retro fit due to these Camper mirrors being released in late 2015 as i had purchased the truck in August 2014. GM released offered a factory OEM retrofit that would not void any warranty on the vehicle and not require splicing into the factory harness. After purchasing the 2 factory harness and 1 jump harness i was on the lookout to find a shop that was willing and able to install these as am not very good at electrical work. Angel and guys over at Kauai repair took care of my baby and installed these with ease. They were friendly, upfront and knowledgeable about what i needed done and finished the job in about a day with ZERO issues! I'd also like to comment about that previous review of an Oil Change being $250. Angel was very upfront about the cost and had a break down of what was being charged very professional and easily approachable hard to find on this small island! That review was back in 2016 and I'm happy to report that is no longer the case or apart of their business practice they take pride and stand behind their work. Do not hesitate to bring your sweet ride down to the guys at Kauai Auto Repair! Mahalo! Daniel LaRoque
