I called, the owner Ryan, he's so down to earth and respectable he called me "Aunty" he said to bring car and he can do a quick check, it might just be any easy repair. I brought it in that day he did diagnostic check (he didn't charge). He ordered the part that needed to be replace. He took the time and called auto parts shop and got me the most affordable part. Part came within the week. He repaired my AC, he even came to pick up my car from my working place, that's what you call Awesome Service. This guy is not a dealership but he works with you he'll explain to you what needs to be done and charges you for the actual labor not according to the books. And his work has warranty too. I would recommend Ryan and his shop. He even called the next day and the next day to check on the AC Oh, he also offered me an interior and exterior car wash.

Customer service matters, especially when people are trusting a business with their vehicle and money. Based on the way we were treated over the phone, we decided not to move forward with this shop. There are plenty of other auto repair places that are respectful and value potential customers. Unfortunately, this experience made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable from the very beginning.

I went online and found Derek Stark's website. Derek describes himself as an "honest auto repair mechanic with over 35 years of experience." Derek went to the trouble of looking at my vehicle at the other guy's shop. He gave me a 'ball park' $$$ and I really trusted him from the get-go so I had my van towed to his shop in the old Lihue Industrial Park. A day later he called with a confirmation of the diagnosis and two days later he had found the needed parts and gave me a detailed quote of costs for parts, shipping and labor. A week after that I got my van back and the bill was EXACTLY what he quoted. THIS GUY IS GREAT!!! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good, honest auto repair guy who knows what he's doing. He's my go-to guy from now on.

I can tell by the expression of her face. No greeting, no smile, no friendly ambiance, in short no Aloha vibes. So slow & at that time we are racing our nerves to be on time to return baby Je. When I handed her our plastic she had a total poker face. Only two pumps available in this gas station and she also served the other in the front. They keep on talking with the driver maybe they're friends I don't know but it annoys be a lil bit. Like come on lady! Anyhow, this woman took a couple minutes to hand us back our plastic & our receipt. Good thing we have this lil amount of patience to say anything. We tried to be firm you know. LoL. If you guys are not in a hurry, that's fine. But if you don't have the patience better go find other station or better on a self-service gas station. That would be a lot easier.
