THEY DRAGGED MY CAR UNDER THE AWNING OF THE DODGE DEALER CAUSING $2100 worth of damage AND REFUSE TO PAY!! When I reported all the photos of this along with the estimate from Kauai Collision Center to Sam, the owner--HE ACCUSED ME OF FALSIFYING the Kauai Collision Center's bid...! I then got the manager from Kauai Collision Center to send them directly an email back stating the estimate was legitimate. There were several witnesses including the service manager, who texted me right away when she saw the tow truck driver drag my car approximately 25 feet across the awning scratching the roof of my car. She and other employees are all witnesses. They are SHADY but do whatever they want because they are literally the only tow service that Geuco uses. The drivers have been loud and rude, yelling at me and my neighbors before. I have asked for reimbursement for the damage several times and they completely ignore me and have refused to pay. read more

Pohaku charged $9, 319 for what should have been under $400. They charged $1,600 for clean up. But I have pictures showing small debris everywhere. They charged $1200 for "Polution Control" taking up dirt that might be contaminated. But I have pictures of the site showing only grass. No one gave me an estimate! Just a bill over $9,300 when the van was removed. I called their office, but other than the receptionist, no one would talk to me. read more

Fantastic towing service. Our Subaru's clutch died as we were driving uphill on 50 south. After pulling over to a grassy spot, and requesting emergency service, the tow truck arrived at the promised time. The driver is very professional and he delivered us and our car to Subaru in Lihue. Pohaku Towing was dispatched by State Farm for emergency roadside service on October 11, 2023. I contacted the driver, Arthur, because I couldn't stay with the vehicle. Arthur provided excellent customer service, and quickly towed my car in for service, even during rush-hour! These guys SAVED me twice!! I hit a pot hole at 4:30 in the morning and blew out both of my tires. I thought I would have to wait for a tow complany to arrive for hours but Samson from Pohaku Towing arrived in 15 minutes! He even drove me to my work, dropped me off and then drove the truck to the Auto Repair Shop to get my car fixed! What a life saver! The Second time I needed a car towed to get disposed at the local dumping station. Samson came again to the rescue! He towed my car from one town to another to meet me at the dumping station. He even helping me take off all four tires to salvage and reuse them. Each time they went above and beyond to help out.
