WHY I WENT HERE: - in need of eyebrow threading service…read more- finished up my wax appointment at European Wax Center (same plaza) and just waited a few minutes for this establishment to open THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in the plaza off of Natomas Blvd and sandwiched between Del Paso Rd and Park Pl Dr (the same plaza as Wells Fargo and Raley's) - located in between Raley's and T4 Natomas THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - bright; white flooring with green walls - jewelry and handbags for sale displayed on the walls EXPERIENCE/CUSTOMER SERVICE: - since I came in first thing in the morning (within 30 minutes to an hour that they first opened for the day), doing a walk-in was easy - there were 2 workers who were both occupied threading other clients' eyebrows and I was seen within 5 minutes - I liked that the 2 workers were working in stations that were still distanced (there was an empty work station in between them) - what I did NOT like was that after one of the workers finished with a client and took me in, she used a feather duster at the head of the chair vs. a complete disinfection of the chair - my eyebrows were threaded at the natural brow line and kept thicker, which was nice (the other place I've been to lately in Natomas has been threading my eyebrows very thin) - the service is cheaper too; $10 here vs. $12 at the other threading place in Natomas - card payment is accepted here via a tablet (can tip from there too), which is always a plus

I drive from Marysville, CA to get my eyes brows done and because I was 5min late trying to find parking in the lot she charged me a late fee of $5 which is fine, but because I let her know I don't see why I'm being charged $5 dollars when my eye brows were finished in the 10min that she allows per customer. She told me she doesn't want to service me anymore. If this is what being a loyal customer gets me. I'm happy to take my money elsewhere where I'm appreciate. Once the eyebrows are done being threaded, there is an optional cooling gel to be applied. My skin is sensitive so this helps with the redness and comes with a relaxing forehead massage. I've been getting my lashes done here and always love the way my lashes turn out. They're very thorough and don't rush to ensure that my lashes turn out the way I want. My lash retention has been pretty good too. They do require lash appointments to be booked a day in advance (no same day appointments). They also offer several other services here such as facials, make up, and hair. This is such a beautiful space and the gold adds such glamour. I found out from the owner that aurum is the Latin word for gold so the gold decor is very fitting here.
