Update: After a long time of not coming back I decided to give it a try again. Unfortunately, the service has not improved. I had my service done by Piya, I believe her name was. Again, I HAVE THICK BROWS and I was being questioned and she was making comments about how thick some hairs were. I don't shave them, I barely touch them, and had even tried to pluck some of the thicker ones beforehand due to my prior experience. After she was done she handed me a cotton ball and said "here you can do it" rather than helping me get all the stray hairs off my face. Unfortunate. I will say that the shaping of the brows were better this time. Unfortunately, after a second go, I won't be coming back. I had been coming here for years since 2020, but due to downgrade in service I'll have to find another place. read more

Man, I didn't think my brows needed help until I got them done at Sactown! They look amazing thanks to the lady who threaded my brows (didn't catch a name). She was quick and friendly. Sactown also has a loyalty program that's awesome! 8 visits = 1 free eyebrow threading. This shop is located conveniently in a shopping center with an Ulta, Trader Joe's, TJ Maxx, and a variety of other shops. Lots of parking and easy to get to. Great first experience at Sactown Threading. I chose to stopped by last minute to get my eyebrows threaded. Located next to Bee's Nails, Sactown is located in the TJMaxx shopping center. NOTE: Apple maps shows Sactown is located behind Ross...it's not. It's on the adjacent building. If you're facing TJMaxx, Sactown is on the left with Bee's Nails. Check in at the front counter on a tablet and enter what services you want. Eyebrow threading ($12) Upper lip ($6) Eyebrow + Upper lip ($16) Prices seem fair and I believe Usha was the only one working that day. She did great! Usha was very thorough and quick. Dipa ruined my eyebrows. I told her to keep them thick and she said "okay just clean up." So I believe we are in an understanding. She took half my brows off and made the most asymmetrical shape you can imagine. I don't even understand how that came to be when we discussed what I was looking for. I really didn't want to give a poor review because I have been going to Geeta for years ( she is great ) , but there is someone new here ( or I just have not seen her before ) she did my eyebrows and her threading was sooo slow and painful . I thought it was the thread itself , but it was her , it was painful and I cannot come back literally that bad . It's very hard trying to book with Geeta because our schedules don't match , and I'm scared to go back and get the same bad threader again ! I've been going to Sactown Threading since they opened. Geeta is the best. My eyebrows are naturally sparse, and Geeta threads them perfectly. Just enough for it to look like I still have eyebrows. I just got my eyebrows threaded there and I feel like crying because my eyebrows are ruined. They look completely different shapes even though they were so bushy to start with and usually my eyebrows come out very nice and pretty shape. I've been growing them for over a month and they were ready to be shaped. They don't even look clean and sharp and newly done, they look so messy as if I plucked them myself and it went wrong. I normally come to this location. no issue but today Ulma (Alma) did my eyebrows. and did a horrible job. normally is 5mins on one , & 5 mins on the other. she kept going back n forth so I knew she messed. my eye eyebrow looked perfect and then my left was round then thin at the end. it was two different eyebrows. The owner contacted me after my initial review. She offered to make it right and when I came in, she suggested I do what I'd done in the past...only ask for Geeta. I think that's the best way to get consistent results. If somebody does a great job...just ask for them by name and avoid disappointment. I've been going here about 3 years. They do a nice job. My only issue is that I'm a woman in her late 30s. I buy eyebrow growth products, as, naturally, my eyebrows are thinning with age. When I go in here, I generally let them know I want my eyebrows to get full (at least I used to... Finally gave up, as it's a lost cause). Anyway, it seems they don't have the skill set to shape eyebrows without making them pencil thin. The shape is fine... I would just like to have eyebrows of some sort without putting on extensive brow makeup. They're 5 minutes from my house, little to no wait time, fair price at $10 for brows, free turnthreading rewards program... Basically everything a girl could ask. But, I'm done. Looking for a new shop... One that can shape brows without taking off ALL your brow hair. read more

dipa ruined my perfectly full eyebrows and couldn't figure out what was wrong with them. they were crooked as hell. she also was sleeping on the chair when i walked in so that was weird. do NOT get ur eyebrows done with dipa. i should've known it was a red flag when someone else walked in and asked if one of the other workers work tomorrow. go to brows n style with mandeep instead on 2214 arden wy sacramento. Geeta is the best at threading! I've been here a few times and have been happy every time. For eyebrows it's $10. For eyebrow and lip it's $14. The first time I went in there was 3 people waiting, still the wait wasn't that long at all (maybe 10 minutes, if that). The second time, Geeta was just finishing up on a client. I just arrived 10 min before closing (online times are wrong) and the lady would not see me, she said they were closed. Just doesn't make sense to me, given it takes maybe 5 min or less to complete the service. Times should reflect the correct closing time and the time you stop taking clients if it's sooner than the closing time. I liked this place, but value customer service more, so I won't be returning. read more
