I have been going to Jeet for many years now and she always does an amazing job on my eyebrows! I have gone to other places but honestly, no one else compares. She's located in Loehmann's plaza next to the UPS store and Noodles & Co. There's usually always parking available but I always tell everyone to be mindful because it can get chaotic. My favorite thing besides her skills is the fact that her studio is literally ALWAYS so clean! She takes appointments and walk-ins and it is easy to get in touch with her. She is quick to reply and will get you in even if she has a busy schedule. I appreciate all the times she has seen me last minute because I book a lot of my appointments on the whim! We've built a good rapport together and she is honestly one of the sweetest, kindest, and most down to earth person I have met. It's been amazing to see her growth over the years. Oh and side note, she is also very affordable! 5/5 :-) read more

Jeet did an amazing job with the full face threading. I am growing out my eyebrow and she did exactly as I asked by just trimming and cleaning up the border. Wow!! My face feels as smooth and soft as baby cheeks. When I apply skincare it just soaks in so much better. 10/10 recommend, BUT around the eye is painful. She was able to get me in last minute too!! WHY I WENT HERE: - eyebrow threading - location; super close to where I now live THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in the Loehmann's Plaza (the plaza where Save Mart is) off of Fair Oaks Blvd and Munroe St - Jeet's threading services are actually located inside the salon called Hair Forte (next to Noodles and Company on the Fair Oaks Blvd part of the plaza) THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - full fledged hair salon - thankfully Jeet's chair is on the right hand side right behind the front counter CUSTOMER SERVICE: - I appreciate businesses like this one that have enabled the "Request an Appointment" option on their Yelp page because it makes it extremely easy to ask for quotes, make an appointment, etc. directly with the business when you may not have the time or ability to make phone calls for whatever reason - my initial interaction via Yelp messaging was with Harjit K to book my appointment; clear, concise, super easy to do so - upon entering the salon, I was greeted by who I believe is Jeet, asked to sign in (name, service(s) requested, phone number) and proceeded to sit in the seat to get my eyebrows done - I'm not typically one to fuss over a mini consultation, and Jeet started on my eyebrows right away - the small talk was pleasant and I will say she did the most GENTLE threading I've ever experienced, which was nice - the results itself were acceptable to me but not outstanding; yes my brows were cleaned up from some of the growth after my last eyebrow threading elsewhere weeks prior, but it wasn't as clean or sharp of lines as I've been accustomed to that give me that feel-good feeling - Jeet asked for me to put my name and phone number into her phone, which I did (I think it's for easier access to her availability and whatnot, which is fine by me) - she put some aloe on my freshly threaded eyebrows and then gave me a stamp card for future visits - she informed me that she accepts cash and card and I just went ahead and gave her cash; from older Yelp photos indicating the price list was $12, she informed me it's actually $14 now OVERALL: - pricing is a bit steep, but I would rather thread my eyebrows than ever go back to waxing them - I can't beat the location in comparison to where I live, it's sooo close! - I might try other places to see which ones I like best since moving back to Sacramento, but I'll always have Jeet's to fall back on if anything read more

Since all threading salons started opening up, everything was booked out for the day. Luckily found Jeet on yelp and she was able to take me in after I called. I'm gonna say this, ive tried threading places in the bay area and Sacramento, she's the most light handed eyebrow threader i've ever had. Considering, havent had my bushy brows threaded since the pandemic closed everything, i was already expecting to be in pain and teary eyed after the session but instead got a big smile on my face and perfect brows going home :) Thank you Jeet! Very condescending attitude. Had me sit in a chair that was sweaty from a client that just sat up and had a fly on it when there were 3+ open chairs. Felt entitled to just place cotton balls straight on my body as she was threading without asking instead of using a perfectly good tray one foot away. I've had threading from 10+ threaders before and she definitely would have to use more thread strokes than necessary, causing unnecessary pain. read more

Jeet is amazing at threading. Usually I get my eyebrows waxed and have given threading a try in the past and completely hated it. Before Jeet I used to think threading was so painful but she is so gentle while also giving my brows amazing shape. I'm so glad I gave threading another shot with her. My brows are sparse and thin and she shaped it just enough without taking too much. I will definitely make her my regular eyebrow lady! read more

This olace is located near a Yogurt shop and Jamba juice. It's inside a salon, so you can get your hair done after if you'd like! Unfortunately, I bought a Groupon before I made an appointment. Before coming in, I saw her Yelp reviews and her customers seemed to be really happy with her work so I gave it a try. I made a same day appointment at 11 and got there 10 minutes late (whoops). She just had a customer sit on the chair when I arrived which was totally understandable, so I waited about 25 minutes as she worked on another customers eyebrows, which I didn't mind, because again, I was late. When she was doing my eyebrows, she kind of just started threading. She finished on both brows half of the time her previous customer took. So now I'm guessing its because she paid in full. When I looked at mine, it was uneven, i even had her try to fix it but the left side was to round and the right side had more structure. So I was pretty disappointed.. but I guess that's what you get for using Groupon! Lol read more

My hair was so damaged and affecting my self-esteem after taking my extensions off. I needed the help of a true professional who knew what to do. I knew there was no one better than Cisco. With his knowledge and keen eye for detail, he took his time to analyze my hair and what was going on. He made recommendations. He cut it and styled it in a way that my hair looked its best given the damage that had occurred. I cried at the end because I couldn't believe what had just happened! Tears of joy. Cisco is a true professional and I highly recommend him. Thank you Cisco for embarking on the journey with me, never judging me. You empowered me when I needed the most! You have super powers!

If I have ever been less than satisfied with anything, because let's face it we're dealing with things that respond differently with each individual and thus not always exactly what we expect right away because it looked one way on another, I have merely followed up and given the clinic the opportunity to help resolve it. In other words help them help me. I have never trusted anyone else more with my face more than I have with Rebecca's facials and Dr. G's injections. I have taken advantage of all of their services and benefited greatly. I have read peoples comments about not getting desired results in 6+ sessions of laser yet with only 3 sessions completely spaced apart I have seen great change. I feel like kids would absolutely have a blast with this service. I chose orange scent for the scrub and mask and they have 5 flavors to choose from. I don't know if I can go back to regular water after this because the jelly seriously made a difference for me while one foot was in the spa and the other was getting worked on. Came in the morning on a Monday and service was immediate. Even if I were to have to wait I would just go to the nearby stores like Michael's or Nike clearance store. I walked in for a manicure without an appointment. A middle-aged woman came over and immediately…read moreasked, "Gel manicure? Gel manicure?" Since I was a walk-in and wanted to get my nails done, I agreed to add gel as well. The only positive thing I can say is that the manicure tools came in a sealed, sterilized package. Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was very disappointing. The towel on the table was clearly not clean or fresh. I expected a clean towel for every customer, not one that appeared to have already been used for someone else. I had removed my acrylic nails a few months ago and had not had a manicure in a long time, so my cuticles were hard. Instead of using a cuticle softener or allowing my hands to soak long enough to soften them, she forcefully pulled at my cuticles. It was painful and very uncomfortable. Her customer service was very poor. She handled my hands very roughly, almost tossing my fingers from one side to the other. Throughout the appointment, I remained polite, but she made no effort to be friendly or provide good customer service. The worst part happened at the end. My hands were covered with nail dust, but instead of properly cleaning them or wiping them with a warm towel like other salons usually do, she applied lotion directly over the dust. I could clearly feel the particles being rubbed into my hands, which was very unpleasant. She did not even ask me to remove my watch and continued moving my lotion-covered hands back and forth over my watch. At the end, I paid in cash. While counting the money, she said, "Let me see," as if she was checking whether I had paid correctly. Because I was unhappy with the service, I decided not to leave a tip. She then loudly repeated, "No tip? No tip?" in front of everyone there. I found this behavior extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. Because of the rough treatment, poor service, lack of professionalism, and inappropriate comments about tipping, I cannot recommend this nail technician.

In threading, a thin (cotton or polyester) thread is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, where single hairs are pulled out one at a time, threading can remove short lines of hair. Advantages cited for eyebrow threading, as opposed to eyebrow waxing, are that it provides more precise control in shaping eyebrows and is gentler on the skin. It can be painful as several hairs are removed at once: however this can be minimised if it is done correctly.[2] There are a few different techniques for threading. These include the hand method, mouth method and neck. Each technique has advantages and disadvantages; however, the mouth holding method is the fastest and most precise.[citation needed] Threading allows for a more defined and precise shape and can create better definition for eyebrows. It is also used as a method of removing unwanted hair on the entire face and upper lip area. Threading is not a good method for removing hair on arms or legs, as the hair in those regions is typically quite coarse and there is too much to remove. read more

Jeet is amazing and very sweet. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded by her twice and am on my way to becoming a regular. The first time, she listened very closely to my requests and even drew out with her finger the hair she was going to take off. She took her time and my eyebrows came out fabulous! The second time I went in, about 3 weeks later, she immediately remembered how I wanted my brows and repeated back to me what I had asked for the first time to make sure she had it right. Again, I was not disappointed with the results. Jeet is my go-to for amazing eyebrows; she's friendly and skilled! read more
