When we asked a simple question about the hats, she acted visibly annoyed, as if we were bothering her. Then, during checkout, she didn't say a single word. My husband had to be the one to say thank you -- only then did she say you're welcome, and it felt like she only said that out of obligation, not courtesy. This is a tourist town, and being in retail means showing some level of hospitality. Her attitude was unprofessional and cold. I almost went back in to return the hat purely because of how we were treated. If you're having a bad day, that's understandable, but it's no excuse to treat paying customers this way. To management: Please ensure your staff understands that kindness and basic communication matter -- especially in a town built on tourism.

The woman that helped us out at the front was very friendly. All items from basic items of clothing to vintage/collectors items, all at reasonable prices. I got a plain trucker hat and grey zip up hoodie for $32 (very good deal). My friend got three vintage posters for $5 each. They even have a machine to get any item embroidered. I needed a cowboy hat and I've been here in the past for cowgirl stuff, so I figured I'd mosy on over. They have about two dozen types of cowboy hats, but I needed one with a stampede string. You don't want to be on a horse that's galloping and lose your hat. I did find a hat for about $65.00 which was the least expensive one they had with a stampede string. The long sleeved blouses were very tempting, but maybe I'll splurge on one of those next year. The only reason I am deducting two stars if for the following reasons: 1) The prices are too high for a majority of the things they sell. Cute boots, but the prices were nuts. I'll just use Zappos.com. If you have money to burn I guess it isn't an issue. 2) The service wasn't the best. One older woman acted like she owned the place and didn't even ask me if I needed help. The other younger woman asked me what I was looking for, but didn't bother to help me find it. If they decide to work on customer service and more realistic prices I'll give them two more stars.
