Bought three pairs of shoes for my infant grandson on a Friday afternoon. One pair was for a specific outfit for Saturday morning. Saturday morning arrives and the box contained not only two left shoes, but in two different sizes!! Even tho this was a mistake by their employee (the store said it could have been the manufacturer- but their employee didn't catch the mistake if it was manufacturer related) The second pair of shoes were a size two in a box marked size 3, I had asked for a size 3 shoe. If I bought an incorrect size I would understand their no refund policy, but both of these were their employee's mistakes- and it still falls under their no refund policy? I'm guessing this falls under the buyer beware policy??? read more

Surf Connection is a tradition to visit when we're in town. My husband grew up in Lompoc, and has fond memories of Surf Connection. Every year we're in town we must stop by to get a sweatshirt/t-shirt/hat with the Surf Connection logo. Their new location blows their old one away! It's huge! And well lit. It is so much easier to browse through their selection of surf and skate attire and equipment. They carry quality brands and always have a diverse selection for men, women and children. Went in earlier today to check out some shoes, I saw a pair I wanted after running to the restroom all the way across the parking lot because they "don't" have one. I sat there with my shoes off as 3 employees walked back and forth, I had to finally ask if they had a shoe sizer because I was being paid no attention to what so ever.(mind you there was maybe 2 other customers in the store at the time.) I got responded to with "nah, whatever size foot you are is what you got" they continued to walk back and forth doing nothing. Didn't ask if I needed a shoe from the back which I wanted to try on and most likely purchase! But no! Customer service could have not been any worse! Thanks for being rude and losing a $100+ purchase!! I went to Marshall's and got great service. GET A CLUE! Fuck The Surf Connection, wouldn't be surprised if they went out of business with the workers they had today! read more

I hate to give this place a bad review, but the clothes selection isn't the best.. It seems like it's always the same stuff every time.. The staff also makes you feel uncomfortable like they're staring you down and talking bad about people and their customers... What do I expect though? Most of them are teenagers, but still doesn't make the business look good. And the prices are unbelievable.. You're better off buying the same things online for a lesser cost. I only go in there for a last resort and want to hastily leave every time.. They definitely seemed to change when they moved. More pretentious. read more

I've had a bad experience here. I had a blank gift certificate that the sales associate forgot to fill out when they gave it to me, and I didn't notice til I got home. I didn't worry about it cause I don't go in often. So when I was gonna go in to buy UGG boots, the manager older lady was very rude about it and said why did it take me months to come in, as if it was my fault. She blames me and says it was probably stolen and that the girl who signed the certificate no longer works there. After arguing with me for about 15 minutes she said she would call the ex worker and call me if the coupon was legit. So I left my name and number. She calls back rudely still & says The ex worker did remember signing it. After all the rudeness I will no longer ever shop at this little store. read more
