I've been to this restaurant twice, and felt as if it was 2 totally separate places due to the service. The first impression was nice. The service was quick, friendly, and very helpful in decision making. The last experience was the opposite. We were rushed to our table. I believe that the host was nearly running to take us to our spot. Little interaction during the entire meal. Our meals were even dispersed incorrectly (- they put half of my sushi on one of my guest's plates and vice versa). As for the food, I find it to be acceptable. I've ordered off of the sushi menu both times, and have found that the selection is pretty good for Pennsylvania. They have a great happy hour, as well. read more

My fiance and I have been (almost) regulars here for about 5 years. I went to school across the road and when we wanted sushi this was the place. After graduation we moved into the city, and tried other sushi places but we had a really hard time finding better sushi than Kiyoshi! We still make the drive out there for our sushi! We ordes food...We were told 1 hr to 1 15 minutes...We called when our food didn't show up...They told us it was on the way..We waited another 30 min..When we called back they told us it was on the way. The man answering the phone was rude..I asked for a manager. he lied to me also and said even though the food left 35 min ago it would be warm... I said to cancel the food because it was going to be cold..I asked to refund my money.He said no it was my fault and he was not refunding my money..He cancelled the food and didn't refund the money.. When I called back once again...He said " I cancelled the food ". He then hung up.. So I'm out the money and the tip even though I got no delivery..This is the second time I have had problems with Their delivery. Use the other restaurants in the area they might be a little more expensive but they are honest and give better service. read more

Stopped here for take out; just picked it out of convenience because it's close to the hotel where I'm staying. I ordered the chicken with black bean sauce and some wonton soup to go. I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes, and the food is delicious! Also, it's a lot of food; twice as much as I expected. I would have liked the sauce to be a bit more spicy, but I didn't specify that I wanted it with some real heat (and considering the area, it makes sense that they would err on the side of mild). Best Asian restaurant in Moon. Chinese/Japanese. Had the Maki platter. Plenty of food and well presented. The Maki had some of their non-traditional house rolls. The crispy RMU roll is great. We also had chicken fried rice it was also good. Nice to have options other than sushi. The fried ice cream was supper too. Take out experience. Anytime I am trying a restuaurant for the first time, I judge it by how well it prepares the basics. I ordered General Tso Chicken with Egg drop soup and white rice. The sauce the chicken was in was more like a jelly and was sweeter than what I'm used to. The egg dop soup was alright and was the largest I had ever had when ordering take out. The rice was dry and seemed overcooked. I'll have to try the sushi I suppose. read more

My boyfriend and I walked in at 9:30 on a Friday and the first thing the hostess said to us was "We close at 10:30." Wow, rude, but okay. They were also already cleaning so the entire place smelt like bleach. We were the only ones in the restaurant and everyone was very rude to us and we felt like the just wanted us out. So we decided to just ordered a sushi roll and leave. When we told our waitress we only wanted a roll she rolled her eyes and said, "That's it?" This is a solid 4.5 restaurant, veggies are fresh, chicken is real chicken! The mustard sauce is homemade and the sushi is very solid. Not one bad bite of food. Delicious food and fantastic customer service. Was not busy at all which concerned me at first. I ordered sushi as an appetizer which was made almost in front of me. It was great and then got general tsos chicken for my entree. It tasted great and the size of the entrees was more than plentiful. The first time I came here, I had the best vegetable lo mein I've ever tasted. That has never happened again. The sauce has been sweet & thick & the vegetables are cut up into tiny squares like they're made for soup. The noodles have been overcooked & gummy. It tastes & looks like the kind lo mein you'd get out of the freezer section. You get a fried roll or soup with lunch & those are pretty standard. Nothing to write home about. On my last visit I asked for garlic vegetables & wanted to substitute rice for noodles & they couldn't do that. I asked if I could just have the rice & pay for a side of noodles & they also said no to that. Very strange. read more

Great customer service and food. About a month ago, we got pick up from them and headed a few miles down the road when my phone rang. It was Kiyoshi deeply apologetic saying that they had forgotten our egg rolls. It wasn't a huge deal and I told them no worries. It was an honest mistake. I called tonight to get some pick up and ordered a few things and asked to have an egg roll. General Manager said "don't worry about paying for your egg roll. We are giving you two free egg rolls complimentary from your last visit." Completely forgetting about the last time, it was a nice surprise and shows that they truly care. read more

An hour later someone calls me and thanks me for my order that was delivered to the wrong address.
