Complementary wonton chips

Completely forgot that I was here about a year ago and essentially ordered the same things! The good news is everything was consistently good. Large portions and fresh. I was a little disappointed in that they charged me to replace the cucumbers (which I'm allergic to) for the radish and only gave me 3 small pieces for a dollar upcharge. The service was great and responsive.

Hunan chicken, brown rice

I was tired and wanted healthy vegetables and brown rice, but tasty! The fresh crisp broccoli, red peppers and carrots and tender zucchini and mushrooms hit the spot, with tender chicken in a dark tasty sauce. Served steaming hot.

Salmon Avocado Roll... so tiny. Sauce is larger lol

I used to frequent Kiyoshi several years ago. It was great. I ordered delivery today and it was terrible! Arrived on time and quick. The salmon avocado roll was super tiny. I ordered it with the soy wrap instead and it came with rice anyway. It's very tiny for the cost. I'm disappointed. The bubble tea - is way overcooked tapioca. DO NOT recommend. Tasted off. The matcha portion was good. The strawberry one is way too sweet. Just no. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from here again and I cannot recommend it. The dinosaur eggs were my favorite- but I'm sure they're different now too.

Crispy Chicken Lunch

I really enjoyed this place; it's a little hard to get in and out of on the curve on University, but I think it's worth it! I ordered the sizzling pineapple chicken and it came to the table with a bit of table side prep still needed, which I loved! It was almost like a sizzling fajita! The sauce was tangy and vibrant, lots of great flavor and aroma. The chicken had a crispy exterior until it was doused with the sauce so it gave it a really nice texture. Only thing I would say is they do not give you very much rice. Other than that, delicious!

I forgot, the spicy salmon roll that came with tasted like canned salmon. Bleah! Tuna was HORRIBLE!

Cheap overpriced food. The sushi is just cheap mush paste they charge premium for. I couldn't even finish it because of the taste.

A take out staple. Good food. Always quality service. Prices are edging up but not bad for quality of the food.

It's great that they have a Chinese and Japanese menu. I don't think that their sushi is anything to brag about but the food is decent.

This is one of my favorite spots to visit when I am wanting lots of sushi! I find myself coming…read morehere a few times a year, and enjoying it each time. Sushi Bomb is an all-you-can-eat sushi and hibachi restaurant in Robinson Township, on the other side of the parking lot from Robinson Mall. They have different lunch and dinner menus, with the lunch just being a more condensed version of the dinner menu. In addition, they serve a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. It is in a small strip mall with several businesses, so the restaurant itself is not gigantic. There is signage identifying the business out front, and the strip has designated parking in the front and on the side. However, since it is across the larger parking lot from the mall, any overflow parking can park in the mall lot and take the short stroll over. This is going to happen during peak business hours, as the strip simply will not have enough parking. In regards to seating, there are tables of varying sizes, in addition to some booths along the perimeter. On this visit, my fiance and I ate in on a Friday night in August. It was packed when we arrived, which was around 7:30 PM. Usually on the weekend nights, it will be rather busy. I have eaten here for lunch and been seated immediately, but I have found that for weekend dinners there will usually be a little bit of a wait. We actually put our name in before we left the house, and there were only a few parties ahead of us by the time we arrived at the restaurant. We live about 25 minutes away, so I would say if you do this about 30 minutes before you want to dine in, it should work out that your wait is minimal for the weekend nights. We were seated at a table after a short wait upon arriving. It is all-you-can-eat, but you order off of the menu and rolls are brought out fresh to you. So, we looked over the menu and began ordering some of the rolls we wanted to try. There are a ton to choose from - with over 100 menu items on the dinner menu alone. While we waited for our orders to come out, we visited the Cold Bar, which is set up more like a traditional buffet. It is not very large, but usually has Lettuce for a salad, different Seafood Salads, Fruits, Desserts, and various Sauces. The desserts especially seem to rotate in and out, so these might vary each time you visit. For appetizer-type items, we ordered the Edamame (3), Miso Soup (1), Spring Rolls (4), Shrimp Tempura (8), Crab Rangoons (9), Fried Calamari (10), and Gyoza Dumplings (6). My personal favorite is always the Shrimp Tempura, as I love shrimp in any form. The Edamame is a generous portion, though if you did not think so you could always just order some more! These dishes are served in small enough quantities that you can simply just put in for more if you find one you particularly like. It also helps you to save room for more sushi! Our sushi rolls included the following: Salmon Skin Roll (91), Paradise Roll (74), Angel Roll (64), King Lobster Roll (69), and Mango Roll (76), along with a few single Sushi pieces. I typically gravitate toward rolls with cream cheese, so for that I really enjoy the Angel Roll. Going along with my shrimp comment from above, I liked the King Lobster Roll and the Angel Roll for that reason. The roll sizes here are a great size. If you are trying to sample as many as you can, I would recommend splitting rolls between those you are eating with. From the Kitchen Entrees, we tried the Teriyaki Steak Hibachi (33). The portion on this could have been an entire meal by itself! It came with a generous portion of fried rice, vegetables, and steak, all coated in teriyaki sauce. I know it is unlimited, but I was pleasantly surprised with the portion of this dish. It is never too long of a wait between ordering and when your items come out of the kitchen. I have never had slow or bad service here, as there always seem to be a lot of waiters/waitresses and runners. From start to finish, we were in the restaurant less than 90 minutes. Even on nights that are busy such as this one, it is never a bad wait for anything. After we ate until we literally could not eat anymore, I visited the ice cream freezer. They just have the classics of Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry in single-serve cups, but it is always a nice way to end the meal here. After so much meat and rice, it helps to reset the pallet and leave on a sweet note. The value of this place is truly incredible. The adult dinner price is $23.99, and I believe the lunch price is about $5 less than that. It is hard to get a quality meal anywhere sit-down at that price nowadays, much less unlimited made-to-order sushi! I will forever recommend this place simply on the value alone. Truthfully, I love Sushi Bomb. As someone who was quite a sushi novice on my first trip here, I have grown more cultured and knowledged by trying a lot of different rolls from here over the years. I would highly recommend anyone giving this spot a try!

We entered through the bar area, and a courteous bartender led us to a friendly seating hostess and waitress. The menu listed starters (e.g., pretzel bites, fried zucchini, and chicken potstickers), salads, sushi/sashimi/rolls and poke bowls, sandwiches, flatbreads, entrees (e.g., ribeye and pasta florentine), etcetera. We waited one hour before the waitress brought out our main courses! Here are my ratings for what we ate: Spinach-Artichoke Dip - 3 stars - This dip tasted decent, but it was very oily. Alaskan Roll - 4 stars - This roll had eight pieces and contained salmon, cucumber, and avocado. Crab Cakes - The crab cakes themselves were meaty and tasted pretty good (4.5 stars), but the sides of peas (3 stars) and potatoes (4 stars) were very plain. Chicken Romano - My husband ate part of this entree. He called it "gross." I taste-tested it, and I thought that the chicken romano (3 stars), peas (3 stars), and noodles (3 stars) were not quite what I expected from a restaurant. I used a coupon from their website to get the appetizer for free, and my husband also ordered a soda. The total price was $62 plus a tip.

So we walked around the building to the patio area and walked into the dining room using the dining room door entrance, but there was no host area. So we walked back outside for a third time and went to the bar area, where they seemed confused why we were asking to be seated at the dining room because we were in the bar area. All of this wasn't a big deal and could be easily resolved with a few signs directing customers on the seating process. Lastly, the place is called Sophia's but inside the menu says Sophie's. I don't know if this place is Sophie's or Sophia's or maybe a combination of both? The ambiance at the bar had a fun vibe, but the dining room area seemed like they didn't put much effort into making it feel cozy and welcoming. I would love to see the place add some booths or more decor so that it felt less like they just put some tables in an open room. It has so much potential!! Now once we got seated, we were told they had no drink menu, just 3 drink specials. Ok so we ordered the specials. Drinks were very good and came in fun colors and glasses! Our waitress was nice but was not very attentive. She was helpful when we asked about the menu and was very knowledgeable, but we had to flag her down for things like water, our check, when we were ready to order, etc. Now let's get to the food. We got the potato croquettes app which was devoured quickly. They were little mashed potato bombs and came with a mystery creamy dipping sauce. They came out hot and had great flavor and so did the mystery sauce! I wish more came with the order, but that may have been me just being hungry and wishing I had more because they were so delicious! The waitress recommended the chicken Romano and the bourbon jam burger. My chicken Romano was fine - a decent meal. The chicken was VERY thin and the accompanying pasta had no flavor, it just tasted like I was eating plain noodles with parm sprinkled on top. I know chicken Romano is supposed to be thin, but this was so thin that I got more egg/parm batter than chicken, which made my meal taste more like scrambled eggs than chicken. I do have high expectations for chicken Romano specifically, so I wouldn't say don't order it, I will just say it's not going to be the best you ever had. My friend had the burger and said it was very very good! They had a fish sandwich special and I had major FOMO when i saw the waitress serve that sandwich to another table - it looked fantastic! It was huge and thick on a puffy brioche bun. I think I would go back here again just to try that fish sandwich. This place, very randomly, also has sushi. I don't eat sushi, so I can't comment too much on it, but they did have an extensive sushi menu and I did see a few of them plated and they looked so good it also made me wish I did like sushi! Lastly, they only had 2 dessert options, chocolate cake and cheesecake. We got the chocolate cake and a huge piece came out that was so rich it almost tasted like fudge, it was great! Because of how rich it was, we could only have a few bites and took the rest home - I guarantee not a crumb of that cake will go to waste! Overall a pleasant experience here. I would get the potato croquettes and chocolate cake again and try the fish sandwich or maybe the crab cakes for my entree.

I'm currently pregnant and was really looking forward to a healthier meal, but one of the sushi rolls I ordered was completely drenched in sauce -- it had soaked the roll and pooled in the container, making it inedible. I've had eel sauce before, usually lightly zigzagged on top of the roll but this was excessive. We ordered 30-45 minutes before closing, but didn't receive the food until just before they shut down. When we discovered the issue, we went back to politely ask if just that one roll could be remade. The staff said the kitchen was closed, which we respected. So we asked for a partial refund instead. The owner refused, saying no one had ever complained in 20 years and pointed to a small sign in the restaurant saying you could request sauce on the side -- something we didn't know as first-time customers, especially since the menu didn't mention sauce at all. I calmly knocked on the door hoping to speak with the owner directly. I wasn't aggressive or confrontational in any way -- but he came to the door holding up a phone or tablet showing he had called 911. A police officer eventually showed up and asked the same questions we had. The owner still refused to refund or remake anything. We were left shocked, disrespected, and out the cost of a meal I couldn't eat. Sushi isn't cheap, and this was a ridiculous overreaction to a simple, polite complaint. We weren't trying to escalate anything -- we just wanted basic customer service and fairness. Instead, we got hostility and law enforcement involvement over a soggy roll.
