I ordered the bison meatloaf and wow... it practically melted in my mouth. The wine mushroom reduction brought everything together perfectly. The roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts had the best crunch, and the mashed potatoes were so creamy and delicate there were no leftovers. My dad ordered the roasted chicken and said it was incredibly moist and flavorful. My mom's bison burger was juicy, tender, and cooked perfectly. The double fried French fries absolutely stole the show though. Somehow they were extra crispy without being overdone. For dessert we shared the skillet cookie, and it was the perfect sweet, indulgent ending to the meal. After a full day of traveling, this was exactly what we needed. The service didn't help. Our waiter was overbearing rather than attentive, and surprisingly wasn't very knowledgeable when we had questions about the menu. Good service should enhance a meal without dominating it, and unfortunately that balance was missing. Copper Table has the setting and atmosphere to be something special, but great ambiance can only carry a restaurant so far.
