This company was ridiculous to work with! We have a F350 with a cheezy dump bed insert and they claimed they would have to increase the price from $195.07 to tow the truck 8.3 miles to a MINIUMUM of $547.31. Why? because this vehicle is a class B tow because its over 10k pounds. HUH??! My vehicle is not over 10K pounds, it actually has an old gross vehicle weight sticker on it that says 10k. She kept repeating, sir the vehicle is over 10k pounds and therefor its a class B tow. I calmly explained to her, "mam, GVWR is not the weight of the vehicle, its the maximum that a vehicle can weigh if you have say, gravel, bark or something like that in it. That means that the vehicles is obviously under 10k because again, 10k is the maximum weight AFTER the vehicle is loaded down. Actually the sticker has been on there forever and its no longer even applicable. She is confused with GVW, which is the weight of the vehicle at any given moment. I happen to know the vehicle barely cracks 8,000 lbs and I told her that. But it was a situation where two employees were working hard to just be shitty and not have to do their job. My office manager, who set the tow up initally, said, "the guy just kept trying to find reasons that he couldn't tow it, he finally landed on this weight thing and just wouldn't budge" After I heard from my office manager that they wouldn't tow it and why, I decided to call and try and explain to them, thinking they maybe were just confused about the weight. I was extremely nice and she immediately said, "sir, you cannot tow using triple A on a marked vehicle!" in such a snotty voice it felt like it was a joke. I said, "mam, I don't think we are using triple A, but Ill text my office to see. Sure enough, we don't have triple A. I told her, "we don't have triple A, so the logos shouldnt be an issue". She immediately jumped into it being OVER 10k pound and it being considered a class B tow!. Honestly, if this was a nice person saying this it wouldnt have been an issue, but she sounded like someone who was auditioning for a part to be like a snotty valley girl. She went back and said she consulted with "ownership" and they said this must be a class B tow because its a truck over 10k. Again, realizing it was futile I said one last time. Even if this was the weight of the truck, it would not be over 10k, it would be 10k, but this is not the weight of the truck its a reflection of the maximum the truck and its payload can possibly weigh. I told her that number is something you purchase from the DMV, its basically a tax. I can purchase a 25,999 lb gvwr for this truck and/or a prius for that matter. The truck weight, on the drivers side door, was shown to the driver. This is an 8000 lb truck and these two employees were those employees that are just pissed they are working and want to thwart anything they can, just because they can. We have all seen this employee that acts like a jerk and is clearly pissed that they have to work. Whether or not they even relayed it to the owner, I don't know. Whether or not they accurately told the story, no clue. Its even possible that this F350 is a class B tow for some other reason and that is accurate, but if you tell someone that they have to pay around $600 for a very near tow because his truck is over 10k pounds and his truck is not even close, then I don't know, find a real reason. I think they thought since I had waited for them to tow it, that I'd just say ok. I am a business, I understand its difficult right now. I understand prices are high and so is gas, etc. If they would have said the trip was a $300 trip, hey I get it. But the lady was absolutely awful and the driver clearly didnt want to do the work. I think a cross between straight laziness and just a snotty employee that would rather be not working. They kind of reminded me of employees that I hire that feel like it is beyond unreasonable to request they not talk to their friends on the phone at work. LOL. I let employees like that go, but in this market, you have to keep them. The "ownership" can believe me or not, but this duo was getting off on avoiding work. I would not use this company again and being a home grown, born and raised guy, I wouldn't want either of them representing my reputation, but again, I sympathize. Employees have all the power right now and my guys is this employee is the type to hold the boss hostage and threaten to quit over the smallest of things. The owner probably knows the driver is a lazy, whining, dud and she is awful to customers, but if he fires her or him, he'll have nobody. This is the business reality of 2022. I actually feel sorry for the guy but you cant let your employees run game on you like that. Had a tire blow out in a dangerous traffic area of a busy highway at 4am. Called Kitsap Towing and experienced the best tow operation! Luis D, the tow tech maneuvered that big tow truck in this weird spot in the highway smoothly, got me safe an in the truck, then scooped my car in what seemed like one move. He expertly tied down the car and we were off the highway to safety in minutes flat! I want to thank Kitsap Towing dispatchers for their fast work and for dispatching Luis D! My car was stolen and got towed. That doesn't matter, I still must pay. I'll pay my debt. The man that allowed me to get in the vehicle was a cruel man and laughed at me. When I called before and filled out the papers, I told him that my black fanny pack had a key in it. The way he treated me I suspect he put that fanny pack in the trunk so I couldn't get into it. I don't understand that deliberate cruelty. I'm 60 yrs old. I pray that my God intervenes and turn this man into a more compassionate person. I ask for forgiveness. And more prayers. What an awful awful experience from this company. First and foremost I was mislead and told that I would not accrue fees while my car sat in a tow yard after I was rear ended. Come to find out that was not the case at all. Only 24 hours that it sat in the lot, and it accrued 700$ in fees!!! Do not let these folks scam you. I told the dispatcher several times I didn't want it impounded, and he told me that it wasn't. I even called back after getting the paperwork to ask more pressing questions as to what was going on and they told me that it was no cost. I was willing to pay the tow fees to have it towed to my house!!! They made it seem like it wasn't but here I am a day later asking for the location of my vehicle and being told that I will not be allowed to know that information without paying the invoice. Quick service, pleasant ride home in tow truck. After a family get-together and birthday picnic at Fort Flagler (near Port Townsend) I turned the key to head for home - only to hear an ominous clattering, grinding [I think] sound before the engine died. Turning the key again got me nothing. I was stunned, as my '84 Mercedes had almost always treated me well - but also because I was afraid it was another broken engine (timing chain follower's made of plastic; happened once before). Took a few minutes for me to accept I needed help (plus I had my aunt with me who needed to get home to Edmonds) - so called my AAA number; they connected with Kitsap Chico Towing (50+ miles away), and gave me periodic text updates. The original "within 3 hours" estimate was cut down to "about 2 hours", and I also got contacts from the towing company. End result: within 90 minutes the truck had arrived [and I am SO embarrassed that I can't remember the operator's first name!, I'm usually so good at that ... sorry D. Bilman ] and he had loaded the car on the platform and we were on our way. Oh, and a family member had come back after taking two children to their parents to check on us, so my aunt was able to get a ride to Kingston with them, as they were going to Kirkland. Given the situation, it was quite a pleasant drive home, and we covered many topics of conversation along the way; in fact, it didn't seem like it took long at all. And at the end of the drive, he very competently backed the big trailer unit up the sloped driveway to unload next to the house - dealing with a curve in the road, a sharp angle from road to driveway, and a narrow space between a line of timbers supporting a wisteria and the driveway bulkhead; I was very impressed, because several people have had severe problems getting in or out ... plus - it was dark by then! So, very happy with the service, happy with the ease of contacting AAA, happy with updates from both, grateful I'd joined AAA all those years ago - they've helped me/husband numerous times, and very happy with the tow operator: he helped make an unpleasant experience a little less depressing. My insurance company set us up with another local towing company and they were really unprofessional and didn't have great communication about our issue or their arrival. My car wouldn't start after I took my dogs to the dog park. An ongoing issue, I thought my jump would at least get me to the mechanic. When I called AAA, I was told the wait was going to be 3 hours. I got a call from Kitsap Towing 15 minutes later saying that John would be headed to me next; most likely in the next 30 minutes. When John got there, he was great! He ran some tests on my car, and thankfully it was only a battery instead of my alternator or starter. He waited patiently while I called to check on my battery warranty. I decided to go with their battery -- which was a reasonable price and had a good warranty (AAA warranty). He installed it and printed out the reports on my car's system so that someone else wouldn't try to rip me off in the future. I had to look up Kitsap towing because of the service I received this past weekend. What do you know, perfect ratings. Our company runs 400+ vans and trucks throughout the state and we have to deal with breakdowns from time to time. On Saturday I was notified that I had a truck stuck on Bainbridge Island with what appeared to be a dead battery. Being located in Kent we started looking for help in that area. After numerous dead ends I figured a tow company could jump start it or tow it. That's when we ended up calling Kitsap towing. We don't have an account with them so I gave them my credit card and they dispatched a truck from Silverdale. An hour or so later I get a call with bad news, truck can't be jumped. Some other issue is causing the no start. The truck in question is a class 6 box truck. They have to pull the original truck back and dispatch a larger wrecked to tow it to a shop in Bremerton. An hour later I get a call from the tow driver. He figured out the issue and was calling me to let me know a tow may not be necessary. I'm in Bonney Lake and can't get to the truck. He goes on to tell me he has another employee with him and he's driving the truck back to his yard where I can pick it up at my convenience. I show up later that evening and drive the truck home. This would have been pretty good, right. They really helped me out. I had an idea of the bill I should receive, but then today came and I received the invoice. Less than 130.00.......I really don't know how to explain the way this sits with me. They have an open credit card from a company that really doesn't do business with them. They bail us out on a Saturday sending multiple trucks to try to take care of the issue. Their driver is informative and really helpful. You would think everyone behaves like this, but you'd be wrong. This outfit is different. This outfit is flat living right and doing right. This is an experience I will not forget and will be a story I will tell. EVERYONE from the dispatcher to the driver, just excellent. read more

A few days ago when we had a dead battery in our Subaru Outback, John (#119 on his B-card) arrived to save the day. John was OUTSTANDING! He debugged the problem by putting a gauge on the battery, saw it was so dead that even the LCD screen would not turn on and said that "its usually something left on in the car". When we looked in, sure enough, that was it. Someone left on an overhead light in the back. John used his portable charger to charge up the battery, advised that the car did not need a new battery and that we should run the car for about 45 minute to recharge the battery. John also drew my attention to the battery tray telling me that it was much bigger than the existing battery because a few years ago Subaru had downsized its batteries to save money. So if/when we finally did need a new battery that we could/should buy a larger battery in the future if we desired. John (#119) and Kitsap Towing are OUTSTANDING!! read more

Great service. Called AAA because I locked my keys in the car. Ernie provided prompt service and was extremely courteous. I felt pretty embarrassed that I locked my keys in the car. Called AAA to have my truck towed and Kitsap Tow was the provider. Tow company towed my truck backwards and my tonneau cover was ripped off while they were on the highway. They are the experts and should have made sure my vehicle was secure instead they blamed me and then when I quoted state law that they were in possession and responsible for securing their load they then said it was equipment failure and would help me with processing it through my insurance company. All I asked them to do was to pay to reattach the cover. I wasn't worried about the scratches, bumps and bruises but all I got was blame and excuses for their failure to secure the load. A few hundred dollars cost them a customer for life. what a shame they did not accept responsibility. My insurance company stepped up and told me not to worry about it. read more

They are heartless,cruel people what happened to me was I drove into a ditch and the cops were going to let drive it home. You can see my house form the ditch. Drugs and alcohol , no wreckless driving I did nothing wrong it had no damage so the cops said I could drive it home which was right across the street but the tow guy would not not let because I did't have the money to pay him I know it was less than 200.00 dollars but I had no money. I asked him if I had any options and the cops talked to them to but he said he had no choice and there's noting he could do. My car is a cavalier 1993 it has no value.I bought from my grandma for $400.00 didn't even have the money to pay her so she let me make payments to her for $50.00 a month called the office and was told I now have to pay around 400.00 to get it back I told them I had no money I asked if I could make payments but they wouldn't and they would charge $50.00 a day.That $400.00 car is all I have and that was my most valuable possession I have nothing else my family help raise the money to pay for my car now I need to pay that back when I have money.
