Both were patient and kind. After multuple calls (caused by an EPIC FAIL on the part of my mechanic), Kevin arrived on time... not once but twice. He was funny, courteous, obliging, and most important to me, empathetic. Thanks for having a tremendous staff and going above and beyond. Monique W.

Racism and discriminatory behavior should never be tolerated, and that is exactly what I…read moreexperienced with Chico Towing. While my vehicle was being towed, the driver began sharing political opinions without being asked. When I mentioned that my husband is Black and has experienced racism, the driver responded with deeply offensive statements, including suggesting that my husband's treatment was due to his "attitude" and going as far as saying that he did not deserve rights. He continued making comments that dismissed racism and blamed people of color for the discrimination they face. This behavior was unacceptable, unprofessional, and disturbing. I ended the interaction and went inside my home to avoid further escalation. I reported this to the company and was told I would receive a follow up from someone named Andrew, as this conduct is not allowed. It has now been nearly a month, and I have received no response, no apology, and no acknowledgment. In addition, two separate drivers informed me that I may have been overcharged for the service. This raises serious concerns about both ethics and business practices. A company is responsible for the conduct of its employees. Based on my experience, there is a clear lack of accountability and professionalism. I strongly urge others to think carefully before using this service. EDIT: I GOT THROUGH TO ANDREW! I followed up directly with the company today, a few minutes ago and spoke with Andrew regarding my previous complaint. I was informed that the driver involved is their 'lead driver' and typically receives good reviews. I was also told that the driver claimed he did not know my husband is a person of color. However, that does not address the actual issue, which was the political and racially charged comments made during the interaction, including dismissive statements about racism and my husband's rights!! The concern is the content and conduct of what was said, not assumptions about appearance or 'misunderstandings'. I was also told that Andrew had never received my original complaint, despite being informed previously that it had been escalated to him. Interesting. This was after nearly a month of waiting with no response or follow up. Overall, my experience has been a lack of accountability, conflicting communication, and dismissal of a serious complaint! I kept being told explanations about the driver's positive reputation, which came across as if it was meant to outweigh or minimize the concerns I reported. That does not change what was said during the interaction or address the issue I raised. Based on this, I would caution others that concerns raised about drivers may not be taken seriously or properly addressed, even when escalated. One of the drivers I dealt with was actually very professional, which is why it was shocking to later learn that the driver involved in the incident is their lead driver.

Luckily it was still daylight and we were able to comfortable hang out until the tow truck arrived (they made good time). The tow truck driver was incredibly helpful; before towing our car, he explored more than one reason the car might not be starting (trying to avoid a tow); he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He in fact correctly identified the problem within a couple of minutes (as we found out the next day from the mechanic). Once it was for sure that we could not get the car going, he obliged to tow the car to our chosen mechanic and once there, he even helped us park the car and fill out the overnight paperwork. Amazing service. The best I've ever had from a towing company. Highly recommend.

He said he had quite a bit of traffic in Seattle to wade through, as it took him over an hour to arrive. However, once he arrived, he figured out a solution to my problem. He efficiently changed my front tire to the back and vice versa so he could tow it to the tire store. He worked quickly and was very polite. (I had no spare tire, so it was a bit challenging.) I would call again if need be, but I hope I never have to do it again. Cost: $358.80, which I thought was a fair price.
