That being said, I like this place! The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that sometimes the wait is a bit long, even if you have an appointment. It seems that foot traffic from the mall can get them behind sometimes and obviously they're not going to quit helping a customer that they're in the middle of just because you walk in with your appointment time. I've been that "foot traffic" many times for adjustments, cleanings and general maintenance on our glasses. Which by the way, is all FREE! I'm assuming most eyeglass places offer those services free but are they as convenient as the mall?? Probably not! The service is excellent with a very friendly and customer oriented staff. They'll do everything they can to make sure you get the lowest cost possible and the best options for your money or your insurance carrier. They have a great selection of frames for being such a small shop and what they don't have, they'll order for you. As a family of 6, we've always found exactly what we want from prescription glasses to sunglasses, child to adult. Watch for the sales and you can walk out with free frames!!

We were asked if contacts were considered, which was surprising since I mentioned when the appointment was made that 'it was for contacts'. Mind you I made the appointment months before. The optometrist mentioned that she could try on contacts that same day since they were in stock. I was told instead we'd have to set up another time to come in. I'm disappointed my teen did not get a chance to try on the contacts the same day of the appointment. Baffled even that she was unable to try them. In my over 20 years of wearing contacts, I've never experienced NOT being able to go home with a single pair of contacts! Let alone trying to see if she can put them in. Now we have to wait another two weeks to try them to see if they work (before putting in the order). I see a lot of new workers in the office even so, this visit is making me rethink where to go for my household eye prescriptions. I've also noticed an influx of clients. I've never seen so many in the waiting room at once.

On 9/2/2024 @ 11:51pm I drove up, the open sign was on, the door unlocked, I made it just on time to purchase a sleep aid. I walk in and a gentleman with short/brown hair had the register drawer pulled out on the counter and was going to start counting the drawer. I glance on my phone and say " I made it just on time it's 11:51 (they close at 11:55pm). He gave me gnarly glare. Another budtender with shoulder length brown hair was standing on the opposite side of the store. I glance at the edible selection quickly and then ask the shoulder length brown hair dude " I can go somewhere else if you want me to I feel bad"... dude says with a snarl " we're the only ones open". I take a quick pause and felt so uncomfortable and humiliated by the way they were treating me that I turned around and proceeded to leave and I said " I'm out of here I'm not doing business here being treated this way". I can care less if Fillabong was the only ones open, if that's the case why are you treating me so poorly as if I'm desperate and HAVE to do business there. NO WAY am I going to an establishment to give them my business and then be treated terribly and feel completely embarrassed. I can go without and wait another day and go to a dispensary that treats their customers with basic dignity. Hands down the budtenders are insanely rude.
