The kind of rudeness that results from when a customer sees your glaring inadequacies. in my case it was poor customer service skills. I think she was the assistant manager so the problem is undoubtedly could systemic. My insurance more than covered the frames and lenses I chose. I wanted sunglasses too. I've been that "foot traffic" many times for adjustments, cleanings and general maintenance on our glasses. Which by the way, is all FREE! I'm assuming most eyeglass places offer those services free but are they as convenient as the mall?? Probably not! The service is excellent with a very friendly and customer oriented staff. They'll do everything they can to make sure you get the lowest cost possible and the best options for your money or your insurance carrier. However, after using one of the pair and discovering that it was a clear frame that was refracting light right into my eyes, I took that pair back to exchange for a black opaque frame like the second pair I purchased. My family has been coming here for quite a few years! Typically, the appointments are fine but…read moretoday wasn't that great. We got there early for our appointment, but even then, we didn't get going with the actual appointment until over 20 minutes past our appointment time. We were asked if contacts were considered, which was surprising since I mentioned when the appointment was made that 'it was for contacts'. Mind you I made the appointment months before. The optometrist mentioned that she could try on contacts that same day since they were in stock. I was told instead we'd have to set up another time to come in. I'm disappointed my teen did not get a chance to try on the contacts the same day of the appointment. Baffled even that she was unable to try them. In my over 20 years of wearing contacts, I've never experienced NOT being able to go home with a single pair of contacts! Let alone trying to see if she can put them in. Now we have to wait another two weeks to try them to see if they work (before putting in the order). I see a lot of new workers in the office even so, this visit is making me rethink where to go for my household eye prescriptions. I've also noticed an influx of clients. I've never seen so many in the waiting room at once.
